Technology Sales Course

When it comes to a program such as course careers, don’t take the course if you don’t know why you’re doing it. It’s very informative and self paced. They do provide a community for you to get involved in if you need help but, once again, there’s no hand holding.

The course material covers all different aspects of the industry, including the sales cycle, business structures, different forms of prospecting, and the different platforms that's commonly used in the industry, such as Salesforce, Linkedin Sales Navigator, and Apollo. In addition, there's no time limit or set time in the day you have to be doing it. It's completely up to the student how quickly or slowly they go through the course. The amount of autonomy given to the student is a breath of fresh air compared to traditional school. In addition, the course sets you up for success after you complete the course by including mock interviews and partner jobs for you.

I've started with tutorials and it's good so far. I can see myself completing the course and going on to use the knowledge that I received. It keeps my attention unlike other programs I've tried in the past that had information taught by instructors with no enthusiasm for the craft.

CourseCareers was very organized. That’s the one thing I loved the most about it. How each section was structured out but how you could also go back to review any portion of it. I learned so much about tech sales , the sales process , prospecting , setting up linked in profile, and much more. I’m so happy that I decided to start this course and give it my time and attention to finish. The course is super simple and straightforward to learn, I completed in two weeks. Coursecareers is an amazing tech sales bootcamp, I've been looking for a way to improve my chances of finding a great job that pays well unlike all these dead end jobs out there and after much research online, from influencers on social media and video testimonials online I took a chance with Coursecareers and to be honest I do not regret it. It was self paced, cheap, well thought- out lessons on the industry and it provides a clear road map on how to become a great SDR.

I wish I would've taken CourseCareers when I was 18, so I could have avoided all of the debt that I have accrued during my years of college. I enjoyed watching the videos of Troy teaching us about Tech Sales and reading How to Win Friends and Influence People, Fanatical Prospecting, and Spin Selling. I've never learned so much information in such a short amount of time - it's mind blowing.When you watch the testimonial videos of previous graduates and they say it took them two weeks or a month to complete the course, it was hard for me not to try and duplicate what these rockstar graduates did. I decided to take my time and try to take all the information in at a slow pace so I can retain it. Are you a professional that has been in the workforce for a few decades and you're looking to change careers like I was? You should consider taking CourseCareers and breaking into tech sales as an SDR.  Overall, if you're a young adult that doesn't want to go to college and go into large amounts of debt for majoring in a subject that you hate, you should signup for CourseCareers today!

I finished my course at Course Careers while working full time as a truck driver traveling around the country. This program allowed me to learn and work at my own pace as I traveled from state to state while still making a living for my family.

If you are interested in joining course careers because of the connections that they have with partner companies then I suggest you look elsewhere because they only have 8 partner companies to choose from. 1 is hybrid out of Utah or Minnesota, 1 is based in Santa Monica, CA, and 2 are based out of Florida. You cannot apply if you do not live in those areas already. So out of the 8 companies course careers is partnered with 4 of them are not remote. This company has a good following on YouTube and that is where I first learned about this course myself. I also have to remember that the YouTube creators who are backing this product are also getting a commission if you sign up for the course using their coupon code. One of the YouTube creators that introduced me to this course will not even connect with me on LinkedIn. Everyone is good enough to gain a commission off of, but not good enough to connect with on LinkedIn. The fact of the matter is, if I personally would have known that there were only 4 remote partner companies then I would not have taken this course. That is why I am leaving this review because they are hard to find and I want people to know the truth. Do not pursue this course solely for the partner connections. The course itself is okay and teaches you the fundamentals of tech sales. The instructor does teach you how to make a LinkedIn, search for jobs, and so forth. It has been a few weeks since I finished the course and applied to the remote companies and I still have not heard anything back from any one of them. If you want to take the course to learn about tech sales with the expectation of finding your own job afterward then I still recommend it. If you joined the course as I did because of the partner companies, then I do not recommend it. 

I was looking for a career change and didn't want to take jobs that were dead end and not paying enough. I tried to get into IT but didn't have the required degree. I began my journey and stumbled upon a video on IG from Cyrus sharing information about getting into tech. I already knew the boot-camps cost so much money. I had already finished training that promised work but upon graduation required a degree. Frustrated for years I was happily surprised to have this opportunity for such an unbelievable price of $499.
