Software QA Engineering

This was a great learning experience and my mentor was wonderfully helpful with any problems I encountered along the way. This is something that I believe everyone should go through if they really want to learn how to be a manual QA Engineer because it helped me prepare for everything you will experience as a QA in the tech industry. Just an awesome program in my opinion.

Careerist has made my life more enjoyable with there hands on and virtual training.  I was and still am able to access lessons, Slack, mentors, Instructors, and Students.  I recommend Careerist to family,friends, and anyone reading this.  They provide up to date training with the most current tools used by employers.

 I came across Careerist after researching  career fields where you make a good income and not stressful. I saw different courses however Careerist stood out to me.  I decided to invest in myself and I took the leap and signed up. I will have to say I'm happy with my decision so far. The support  team at Careerist are great .        They respond quickly when you have any question or having technical issues. My mentor was very active in my job search  and stayed in contact with me on a every other week basis because that's what I preferred. It was very accommodating with my schedule.  If you're on the fence I would say take the leap and invest in yourself! Careerist will give you the basics however you're going to have to put in the work like anything else in life. 

This course was the best course I have ever taken. I am very grateful for the Intern lead that helped us cultivate our skills and the professors that made it extremely easy to understand . The intern lead was a pleasant help and I appreciate the time she took to help. Two thumbs up from me :)!!!!

I was looking to break into Tech and I heard so many good things about Careerist so, I decided to get into their Manual QA program. The classes are at night 3 days a week which is great for people that work during the day and looking to pivot into Tech. Overall I liked everything that the program had to offer: the learning portion with the various instructors, the internship to help gain hands-on experience, and the mentorship to help you gain confidence and assistance during the job process. I definitely recommend the Manual QA program with Careerist!

Careerist gave me an opportunity to start my new career in tech company. With the help of great instructor and mentor I achieved my goal and have a better job now. I have better work life and balance. 

The Manual QA course by Careerist is a really great investment. I have enjoyed the courses very much and found them all highly accurate and informative. The instructors were consistent with one another and each class lead smoothly to the next for a cohesive experience. My mentor is very kind and professional and so helpful in preparing me for future interviews. I'm so glad that I decided to attend Careerist and hope to go on to take the automated QA course as well.

What really impressed me was how communicative and supportive the instructors were. Every time I had a problem or question they would always be there to provide me with assistance. Also the flexibility was great as I did the boot camp while still being able to work a full time job to pay my bills. 

Wasn't sure what I was getting in to at first, but it was a great experience.  They present a lot of information in a clear and understandable way.  Staff is all supportive and very helpful.  The internship was even better getting to use programs hands on that wasn't as overwhelming as I thought it would be.  As each week passed I felt more and more comfortable moving forward in a manual QA career.

Awesome experience with Careerist. Before I found careerist it was difficult for me to juggle family life and a career in the healthcare field. Careerist was God sent. Thank you to the team, the program was detailed and will equip you with all the necessary skills to land your first tech job. But you need to be ready to be coachable and willing to dedicate some time to learn and put in the work for the skills you are equipped with on the Bootcamp.

I am a careerist student. I had no prior knowledge about QA. They taught me everything and now I am more confident. The nest part is someone is always there if you have a question. They will not move forward until your question is answered. I am almost done. My mentor is amazing, making sure I have all the tools needed to do well on my interviews. The internship was a great experience as well. I really felt like I was apart of the team. 

 It was a wonderful experience. The course was detailed and straight to the point, and the teams of trainers had a wide range of experience and really understood what it takes to become an expert in this field. I had a great time during the mentorship and internship. They are always listening and ready to help at any given time. 

I took the Careerist Manual QA Bootcamp & it was the best thing I did for my mid-career pivot from tax accounting to tech.  Pros:- easy course that can be completed within a short amount of time - can view the lesson on your own schedule & pace- included 2 internships - hands-on experience with real companies & daily stand-up meetings- great feedback from the Leads on your test cases  - great mentorship, interview prep, resume review, LinkedIn profile review, & follow up - can choose a payment plan of 2 installments (recommend) or have them take from your paychecks Cons:  - wished the internships were 1 month each instead of 2 weeks- wished there was more various hands-on experience like API & mobile - wished they had a network of available jobs to assist us with landing our 1st job - The job is easy.  Getting the job is hard.  The job market was tough & I sent out around 300+ applications before I landed my first interview.  

Very nice course, support and instructors are very professional and knowledgeable, especially it was great to work with Hanna. Tue course is structured in a logical way and the information was presented clearly and then repeated when students didn't understand something. 

I had NO tech background at all. I came from face to face sales. Careerist mad it easy, detailed, and I had all the support I could need. I followed their plan, did the work, and was hired for the perfect job for my situation...in just 70 days. I took the QA Manual course and am currently job searching but I am pleased with the overall program was great the instructors are clear and give great tips based on their current work experience. The course will require outside information to solidify the knowledge but all the tools and opportunities are pointed to you to ensure you can gain it. 

I started to learn manual QA in September 2022 at Careerist, and Im very satisfied with this course (specially with our teacher Lana, she is amazing). Within 3 month you can become a IT specialist with high salary on market. So if you don't know how and where to start, this course is perfect for you. Mentors are always there for you if you need any help. 

I was lucky to graduated from Careerist. This months went really fast. I was enjoying every single class here. All teachers was accommodate and very helpful. I got so much information. All knowledge I received from that school helping me passing interview confident. I just started my search for job and I’m pretty sure I will get my first offer very soon. I started from scratch and I can consider myself as a professional QA engineer . Thank you Careerist for this opportunity. 

Careerist was everything I needed to switch careers in a time where everthing was pointing to starting something new (during covid). The instructors were excellent, the coursework was extremely do-able, and the support through the process was always accessible. I still review my notes today when I need to refer to a topic that pertains to my current position as QA. I still participate in the channels provided. It is scary to switch gears after a long career in one field, and the support my mentor provided while job searching was incredible. I got a job not only applying everything I learned through the coursework, but it still pertains to the career I worked in for many years. Best of both worlds!
