The only thing which you have to do is to follow the instructions. Careerist has a direct strategy on how to become QA Tester. There were live lessons with helpful instructors who were ready to answer our questions. Then I joined an internship to grow up my practical skills, we tested both web and mobile apps and used different test tools. I could understand how to use them on real projects and indeed it wasn't required to use the code which was just amazing. After finishing the internship I was assigned to my mentor. She helped me with job search preparation, we had enough mock interviews to feel confident. Also, my mentor helped me to create a relevant resume and an attractive LinkedIn profile for recruiters. Even after I got prepared my resume and LinkedIn, we have constant communication and I get help with my interviews. I can feel that Careerist supports me and encourages me to change my life.

The course was not difficult only if you really wanted to get into to the field. The instructors are very helpful and explain things well. My mentor was very helping and was always on my side. I had good support from him. He kept me going and pulled me through. The material was taught with detail which was really good.

It will be soon 1 year since I started working full time as quality assurance engineer after I completed the manual QA course and internship by Careerist. Moreover, 2 of my close friends were also able to land a QA job thanks to Careerist academic support and job interview guidance. To be honest I was really suspicious about this course at first glance since they claim to land you a 75k+ job with no experience required. However, now I can assure everyone who is still in a doubt - you can do it too. I think the main secret of Careerist's success is that they know what the market needs and how to teach these skills their students. Real-life internship also gave me the confidence and full understanding of what the job looks like and how to succeed in it. All you need to do is attend all classes (or watch recordings), do the homework follow the instructions to a t, and trust your mentor.

Great course! If you're looking for a career change and interested in going into the Tech field without a technical degree or prior tech experience then this opportunity is for you. If you are looking for a quick fix, walk away now. This is a great opportunity if you are willing to put in the work, the courses are well done, and the instructors a great and willing to help! I learned all I needed to get into this field, and their mentors know what they are walking about, so just do as they say. The job search to enter the QA field is not for the faint of heart, it's hard, and job searching is hard in general, BUT entering a new career field is not any easier. So with that said, If you are willing to put the work in, and not give up this course/ opportunity could be life-changing. It was for me.

For me, Careerist was truly Godsent. As a mother of young kids, I was looking at transitioning from relationship management to software QA, mainly because I wanted to work remotely and I do have an eye for detail. As I was browsing online, I came across Careerist and they had exceptionally good reviews, so I decided to enroll in the manual QA course. I loved that the course was so flexible with timings, all the instructors were fantastic and I especially learnt a lot from Lana. The course content is very good, the internship gave me experience and access to tools in a real work environment; and my mentor helped with my resume and interview prep. Careerist is very supportive of all their students and graduates, even after they land a job; the support team is extremely helpful with any questions asked. I was able to land a job 2 1/2 months after graduating from Careerist. And I will say my company is extremely happy with the skills I bring and the detailed reports I am able to deliver all thanks to the training I had at Careerist. If you want to move into the IT industry and have the attitude to work smart and succeed, Careerist will help deliver that success to you.

I'm not going to lie, when I signed up for Careerist Manual QA Bootcamp, I was initially skeptical. Not necessarily of the program itself, but I wasn't sure what to make of an IT bootcamp. I kept feeling like this was too good to be true. I was coming from over 15 years of consumer electronics/ sales and I needed to make a change and I was looking for something that will allow me to workin IT without knowing coding, give me the flexibility of working from home and pay me more money to better provide for my family. I am here to say not only did Careerist give me the tools to be successful, but I was able to graduate, land a great job and make more money than I ever have previously with other jobs. I sincerely believe if you just follow the system Careerist places in front of you, you will eventually get a job. I am now and forever grateful for Careerist. Thank You!

In 2020 I happened to become furloughed from my sales job. At that point, I knew I wanted to have more security in my career. I happened to find a listing on social media, the day I made this decision. After speaking with someone regarding my interest in the Manual QA program, seeing as I had no coding experience at the time. I thought it would be a great opportunity. I was right! Not only did the self-paced lessons allow me to work at my own pace, but the instructors and assistants were able to answer questions I had regarding the material. I attended both the Manual and Automation boot camps. I would recommend having some coding logic under your belt, prior to taking the Automation course as the instruction can get away from you if you lack that experience...(like me). The job placement prep was spot on and my personal Coordinator was very thorough in reviewing the material.

If you have excess money to throw around, it's a nice experience. Otherwise, it's not worth it.There is a mismatch between what Careerist tells their students and the reality. They say there are SO MANY JOBS out there, you can make a LOT of MONEY, and you don't need to know how to CODE.The reality is, most companies are looking for Automation Engineers. How do you possibly stand out with less than a year experience of just Manual QA? (Sure, they probably want you to continue with the automation course so they could make even more money!)One thing I felt very sketchy about them is that the mentors encourages you to lie on your resume, which made me feel very uncomfortable. Even though I only had 3 weeks of internship, the resume created for me shows 9 months. Skills such as Postman API (which requires knowledge of JavaScript) and MySQL are listed, which I barely have.I have no intention of learning how to code.As far as the classes go, I was expecting an organized college-like lecture but it was more DIY, at-home, casual feel. One instructor excused herself a few times during class to deal with something or someone. You can get much better quality lectures at Coursera or Udemy.Oh how I wish I could get my money back but they require you to submit 95 job applications a week to qualify. You will NOT see 95 Manual QA jobs available each week!! Unless I'm supposed to be looking world wide??

I got involved with the careerist course in 2022 after some major personal struggles and I was so excited at the idea of changing my career. I was so excited that this course was going to help me not just get the knowledge but get the job too. I was so sure that they were going to help me turn my life around with the job search assistance program and I was so sorely disappointed. The reality I found was that 1) Careerist charged me 4000 dollars for stuff I later found online is the same at allifoundation.com & Udemy.com for way cheaper 2) The job assistance program will help you put in 5 applications a day when they tell you that you should really apply for 20 a day so who are they helping & 3) my mentor was rude disconnected and rarely kept our appointments, and when I complained he said he'd have another mentor appointed to me which never happened. I just got lost in support emails and phone calls on hold. I would say not all that glitters is gold guys. They put up a good front but you'd be much better off studying the info on your own online. I thought I could never get the right knowledge just searching it up on my own. Paying that much sure made me feel worthy like I had the right stuff when I'd apply, but you don't get it yet. They give out interviews because they need the people not because of the class you took. I had an interview once where my interviewer told me he had never heard of my bootcamp but it didn't matter cause I knew my stuff. Doing a comparison after having taken the class, it really wasn't worth it.

Overall I was pleased with the Manual QA course that I attended, which was held for seven weeks. Although I was already familiar with many of the topics, it was good to receive a refresher course on best practices. I do wish that there was more explanation of intermediate tactics in software testing. The course was worth the money.

I was thinking about making a career change to tech and there were so many different paths and fields to take. Careerist was a fantastic help because they have some good, free resources on their site that detailed what these different paths and fields really do! After some more research, I decided to enroll in their Manual course. Every single bit of it was project based, hands-on experience. I definitely recommend Careerist if you are serious about learning and motivated to gain experience for the career you want.
