Software Engineer Bootcamp (Full Time)

Hyperion has been a very easy platform for me to use for learning the Software Development Bootcamp, the information is concise and easy to follow and the instructions are highly effective. Feedback and marking has been reasonable and very much on time. I have only been on this course for a few weeks but have already expanded my abilities. 

Hyperiondev is one of the best choices I've made regarding an online boot camp for software engineering. I had the best support both with the hyperiondev team of online support, the student manager Mr Sobane and my personal mentor Mr Njabulo Phiri. I would gladly recommend hyperiondev to anyone who is both passionate and serious about their career in the development environment as the service is beyond exceptional. Thank you Hyperiondev for your help and support through my most difficult times in need.

As an accountant in the corporate field, I noticed more and more automation happening. And before my job is being replaced by a program, I thought let me be that person to create that program. HyperionDev's bootcamp provided the necessary skills from beginner to advance. If you are stuck, there is always a mentor a message or email away to assist you in the right direction.  Something amazing, as you submit your tasks, it get reviewed/marked within 48hrs, so you know immediately if you need to review a certain skill before proceeding. They ensure the foundation is perfectly solid!I would recommend HyperionDev, and any of their courses (even if you dont have any experience)! 

I'm currently enrolled in the Software Engineering Bootcamp, and to provide some background information I study BSc IT part time so I do have some prior knowledge of coding, but this course is so in depth and provides such a big expansion to previously obtained knowledge. I would say this is better than getting a degree where you do so much work and learn nothing much about real world coding etc. Doing my course through Hyperiondev was the best thing I could've done, they provide great material to give you the knowledge and a lot of tasks that you have to submit that forces you to practice what you have learnt. Think you might get stuck with things because you are new? Not to worry, they provide each student with a mentor that is available pretty much anytime during working hours via discord and you can even set 1 on 1 meetings with them ranging from 30min to 1 hour where they will explain to you every detail that you don't understand. I am with Hishaam and he is great at what he does and super friendly, keeps things professional but does not shy away from making you feel human. Thanks Hyperiondev and Hishaam for the wonderfull experience.

I would recommend HyperionDev to anyone, my experience with the Software Bootcamp was amazing, the mentorship, the guidance and overall check-ups makes you feel welcome and apart of the team and keeps you motivated. The course content overall is excellent. 

Doing the Software Engineer Bootcamp with HyperionDev has been an absolute pleasure for me. I have found many aspects of the course relevant for application in my field (Water Science and Engineering). The course and exercises are structured in a manner that is easy to follow from a gentle introduction to an advance level. I would strongly recommend the course to the young and old, those who are young graduates and those that have just finished high-school. Coding is a good skill to have and there are limitless potential applications in the work place and in under&post-graduate studies.

This course has been amazing. Due to finances I was not able to join, but HyperionDev Team helped me get in. The course content teaches you what you need to know. You may need to go do research to find out more. That is where you have the discord channel where you can ask any questions and people in the course can assist you. The few times I have needed support assistance, my issues were resolved within a few hours. My mentor marks very well. All the comments and tips on how to improve really help. I have learnt much while on this course, specifically on how to make comments correctly :D. If you know nothing or very little about programming and want to learn more, this course can do that for you.Pros:

It has been my dream to become a software engineer, however plans did not go as anticipated and I found myself in the built environment profession. Learning about HyperionDev and how they have produced successfully aspiring software engineers regardless of their educational background, skill level and age, revived my hopes once more that I am not too late as well to pursue the dream. The curriculum has been in an easy-to-grasp format alongside with extra helpful mentors. I have not only gained the skills sets in Python and Java programming so far, but a new way of thinking logically and effective approaches to problem-solving as well. If only I had known earlier about HyperionDev and their flexible and convenient way of producing software engineers I would’ve been a top engineer by now. Nonetheless, I cannot wait to graduate in July and dive in the real world of software engineering and so reach my desired haven.

The software engineering bootcamp is full of exciting tasks and you learn quite a lot. Even though I am only in my second week in the software engineering bootcamp, I certainly do not regret choosing to study through hyperiondev. I would probably have lost interest studying through another school. It is definitely more fun than doing coding when studying toward a specific degree. You feel excited to code. You want to code non-stop which makes it enjoyable. The staff are friendly and always helpful. 

While searching for ways to quickly get a start in my coding career i came across Hyperion Dev, I checked out reviews and weighed all my options and the part that intrigued me the most was the fact that i could do it in 3 months. In doing so for someone who had some knowledge in java and python I found some the tasks challenging and with their whole mentor system it really helps to understand where you went wrong and what you can improve on as a software developer.The entire bootcamp goes through a variety of different things and i was able to get through it with a great mentor and a well structured tasks to complete and they provide you with well thought out guides when learning new ways to do things such as IDEs or installing SQL and even do a better job at teaching itIt was a really great experience for me however a huge part of that was due to my great mentor Thank you so much G

Really enjoying the Software Engineering boot-camp so far, and getting some great feedback regarding how I program thanks to the mentors. The tasks a effective so far in exercising the concepts taught. Looking forward to the rest of the course!

Firstly I'm really grateful for this platform, I've always wanted to study further but didn't know where to begin. A friend recommended HyperionDev and this was one of the best decisions I've made this year. I've always been passionate about programming and Technology and HyperionDev has given me more reason to want to succeed in the field of Technology. I really wasn't sure if studying online would work out for me as I'm a person that really likes interacting with people physically, my experience thus far with HyperionDev has really been amazing, I literally feel like i'm in class with my mentor. The support that they offer is commendable and the course is structured really well. Thank you so much for the opportunity and I'm really looking forward to learn and develop my skillset.

I am currently doing the software engineering bootcamp. So far I am satisfied with course. Don't be mistaken, it is tuff. You'll need to have a lot of time to work through the tasks. It is very time consuming, especially if you are not familiar with coding. There is no requirement for the course but you definitely need mathematical and logical thinking skills. The course content is limited, you will need to have internet access and a lot of time to read up on relevant topics. There is absolutely no way that you can complete the tasks without doing your own research on programming platforms like geeks4geeks. Patience is key, you must be willing to trail and error . But most importantly if you decide to do a bootcamp, you need to be committed. Your dedication will determine your success. The mentor are very willing and able to help but they won't solve the problems for you, they will lead you in the right direction. The reviews are excellent and very useful. You will learn a lot and I believe it will definitely be worth all the hard work! Goodluck to anyone who pursues to enroll for a programming course.

There are a lot of free* or “Self-taught” options online, and this could be a viable choice for some, but I personally felt that I needed some structure and guidance, having little experience with development. I work fulltime and opted for HyperionDev because I could complete the bootcamp part-time, over 6 months and still receive the same level of support as a fulltime student might get.

The bootcamp was split up into 3 levels, structuring it in a way that didn’t feel overwhelming. In addition to the lessons increasing in complexity as you continue, all the lessons prepare you to complete the next one. The lessons themselves are well structured and explained in an easily understandable way. However, you can’t rely on the lessons alone for all the information you need. Self-study and research will be crucial to fully grasping some topics and the lessons don’t always point that out.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the lessons and assignments and I’m highly satisfied with the outcome. I feel like I was defiantly given the tools I need to enter the field of software engineering and I’m confident that I am well prepared.

This was a part-time, online bootcamp, teaching a little python and a lot of java. The reading materials were good, the format of the course was good. My one-on-one mentor reviewed my work carefully, but he was not always easy to get in touch with. The curriculum did not include any front-end work (HTML, CSS, Javascript), so I have needed to supplement the course with that in order to be employable. I am happy with the course. 

About a year ago I decided that I needed a change in career. I thought about my brief experience with programming in highschool and how much I enjoyed it. I decided that was the path that I wanted to take, but I had no idea how to get started, I was also a bit worried about how I was going to put in the time and actually get fully submerged into learning.

A friend of mine recommended HyperionDev and after a couple of months of playing with the idea, I decided to make the bold move of resigning my job and taking on their full time Software Engineering Bootcamp. I started with barely any knowledge of the field, I put my head down and invested all of my time to working on the tasks.

It was a challenge (as is to be expected) but with the help of my assigned mentor I managed to get through the tasks and build up my foundations task by task. I ended up finishing the course and took to solidifying my knowledge by getting involved in the forums and helping students when they stuck. 

Around 2 weeks later I was contacted by Sobane who asked if I would be interested in joining the HyperionDev team as an intern developer and helping out the onsite students as a teacher's assistant. I jumped at the opportunity and am now realising what a strong foundation the bootcamp actually gave me.

Overall it is a great course that covers a lot of ground and by the end of it you will have the confidence you need to enter the job market. Other than the personalised mentorship I would say a massive highlight of the bootcamps is the tasks, they are challenging and force you to apply the knowledge you have covered previously, making sure that it sticks with you.

Overall it was a fantastic and educational experience! The content provided was very interesting and insightful which made it enjoyable to learn with focuses on python and java as well as some touches on MySQL, git, jUnit and more! Instructions were very clear and they helped with everything from how to install the required software to code quality. There were some challenging tasks but the mentor assigned to help me throughout my course was very helpful and helped me see my mistakes from a different view as well as providing some further reading to help me understand even more. They were very accommodating as I ended up in hospital during the course and they paused it until I was able to continue. I have now completed the Systems Engineering course and they are actively helping me find a job by preparing me with practice interviews and applying to companies on my behalf.

I would definitely recommend this course to anyone looking to learn and pursue a career in systems engineering. 

HyperionDev provided me with a flexible but helpful experience, I never felt pressured because when I needed help my mentor always provided assistance and now I feel like a fully capable software engineer.
