Software Engineer Bootcamp (Full Time)

This course is totally wonderful. Although I didn't have any experience coding before starting this bootcamp, I  really enjoyed it and I nearly finished all tasks.The support team always tried to help me with whatever I needed. 

What an amazing experience at Hyperiondev, the software engineering bootcamp is truly top notch i would highly recommend, the mentor and student support is amazing i was provided extensions when required, extra lessons , coding nights, alumni support and community programs, the course material is great aswell, the courier services team has been amazing in helping me find a new position

As a beginner in Software Engineering, I have had an amazing experience with HyperionDev. The learning experience is different as they enable you to fully understand what you are learning through quality videos and the lecture notes on the Dropbox make it even easier to understand as they guide you through the steps and make you understand in order for you to be able to tackle the assignment questions that follow. I also appreciated the extra questions that I had to do as they guaranteed my understanding on the topic.

The support system has been really helpful if i can say ,and they always responded really quickly. whenever I needed help they were always available and ready to help , and their aim was to see me succeed during the boot-camp , when I was falling behind they always sent messages asking what was wrong and in what way they can assist me , they provided me with technical support regarding my school work and also non technical support . I have to say that their services are one of the best services. They went so far as  providing me with someone  to talk to , regarding why I was falling behind and he could give me advice on how to keep on track.

I am completing my Software Engineering bootcamp on HyperionDev as a part-time student.The curriculum is very apt for the industry and up to date with current practices.As a student with 3 years of programming experience, i found the early content very basic and suitable for newbies. However, the tasks in the later stages did challenge my skills and i learned new and interesting concepts.I am especially grateful to the mentors, who i contacted remotely, that were patient and helpful through my struggles. I also appreciated the time taken to mark my tasks and the valuable feedback i received.On the other hand, i found it particularly frustrating when i attempted to call the office and seek support as not many consultants were available. Nevertheless, i did find satisfaction when i requested support via the online form and email.

One of the best institutions that gave me experience to real world problems, they also have the most experienced Mentors. They are also well organized as they allow you to book a call with the mentor of your choice whenever you get stuck

I have enjoyed my time with HyperionDev. The structure for the course is well planned and laid out. It is a well recommended course for any first timer like myself. Not only is the presentation of the work well, they provide great support on different platforms which makes getting assistance quick and easy! Quick turn around with any questions or queries and always someone willing to help. I would suggest HyperionDev Software  Engineer Bootcamp to anyone!

The course and company are woeful. Poor and outright incorrect information and learning materials, toxic culture, and misadvertised in multiple ways. Please take my words on board and avoid this course. Your time will be much better spent elsewhere and you will not learn anything you cannot learn in a more accessible/engaging way on YouTube.

The real course content you will be taught on the software engineer bootcamp is woefully inadequate to set you up for a job - it doesn't even cover some extremely basic skills that you'll need e.g. APIs. I am begging you just to take these reviews seriously. I think HD themselves are leaving fake 5 star reviews here because all the students are fuming about this.

There exists now a huge community of students that are incredibly disillusioned with Hyperiondev. The course is of extremely poor quality, almost no interactivity, extremely limited content and many topics that are advertised are not taught.Hyperiondev has been silencing students who speak out by kicking them off the course unfairly. On other websites it seems they have been leaving themselves lots of good reviews.If you go on Trustpilot, go on company info, and you can see: over 75% of reviews that they took down, were reinstated by Trustpilot for NOT actually breaking community guidelines.

Hyperion Dev’s software engineer boot camp has been a great start into the world of software development. It is a thorough course that helps one understand the fundamentals as well as the intricacies of coding. Doing this course part-time has allowed me to learn whilst still being able to work a full time job. 

I am doing the Hyperion Software Engineering 6-month online course. With this self-paced course, you get engaging lessons, expert instructors who make even the most challenging software engineering topics simple, and an excellent resource for getting a head start on your career. The tasks are explained well and give you enough information to complete them. The course also encourages you to do research and develop your own solutions to the tasks.

I do not recommend this institution, there is better content in Udemy courses for way less than a Quarter of the price. The structure of the course is unorganized as lessons are only taught after you are required to do the task. The chance of you getting an entry level job is very low after doing the course as they do not teach you enough content. The mentors are overworked with meetings booked weeks in advanced, and there is an average of 1 - 2 weeks wait time for assistance as there are no slots open. Assistance is basically none existent. I do not blame the mentors as they have a number of students to mark. I blame the institution for biting off more than they can chew. Having finished the course more than a year ago, I did not have enough experience to do the job that I have now. I spent days studying and learning off Udemy courses and other sources which gave me the knowledge and confidence to do the job.

Bootcamp was very helpful. Learnt a lot. Great learning experience, the additional readings were very helpful. The support team has a very prompt response. The reviews from lectures are very descriptive and help you in refining your work. The discord channel is also helpful when you are stuck.

The experience was good although there are a few things that I was abit unhappy with. I felt the communication was abit slow, perhaps due to the amount of students versus the mentors, but it did slow me down abit because it took a while to get help when I was stuck. But other than that, the curriculum was good, challenging but very informative. The requirements were clear. The support team was extremely helpful and offered good services. 

As someone who did not know anything about Software Engineering, The Hyperion dev team involved in the Software Engineering Course was extremely helpful. Not only did they make it easier to understand , they also were very interactive with their learners . The only down side I have is that, the dates of the submission for the tasks are to little . Some tasks are quite big and require a lot of time  and they only give you like 2 days to complete it. Besides that , My experience was quite good.
