Software Engineer Bootcamp (Full Time)

What an amazing experience!It’s been an absolute joy to be able to study here. The study materials, staff and mentors I can’t but give it all a 5 out of 5.The mentors really take their time to help you understand a subject at hand and freely give extra resources when you still don’t understand something completely.The materials are also on point. Before I joined I asked people (all of whom are in the tech industry and some even owning their own tech companies) and all of them said to go for it, loving the in-person-review that HyperionDev boasts with.Once in the course, they definitely didn’t disappoint with all the hype.I would recommend this course for all people, whether you have little or no experience or simply looking to upskill.

This bootcamp has good structure and helped me learn way more than could on my own. This bootcamp gave me  more confidence when coding and I learned so much with their content being as easy to understand. When I needed more time or more help the mentors was always willing to support and help. One of the best Bootcamps you can find today

I joined this bootcamp with no coding skills, now I am confident with my skills, and I believe I am ready to join the tech industry.What you see is definitely what you get, and when I applied, I didn't believe I'd get to where I am today with my coding skills.The journey may have not been easy, but it was worth it, and I do not regret my decision to join this bootcamp.

Ive always had an idea of what i wanted to do but was unsure of how to go about doing it. This bootcamp has filled in the missing pieces for me and helped me regain the level of excitement i once had about software engineering.

Overall this course was one of the best courses I've ever been a part of. The amount of attention given to keeping the tasks legitimately thought provoking and challenging was something I had not seen before with many of the other courses I have completed. The staff are always trying to assist and I never felt like I couldn't get any help with the work if I felt stuck.

I have honestly learnt a lot from Hyperion Development as they provide real world task experiment.The tasks may be challenging but not once have I felt like a beginner because every time I get stuck I could easily contact my mentor for help via discord or book a 1:1 session with the Code Reviewer all I can say I had a wonderful experiment at Hyperion Development as an Online Part-Time Student. 

Hyperion Dev, was one of my favourite bootcamps and I'm planning to do the data science course next. I was doing the Software Engineering Course and the curriculum felt well structured and I never felt lost with the course material. When I needed help there was always a mentor that could help me figure out the problem if the friendly students/mentors in Discord chat didn't help me already. Overall I would reccommend this to any friends that want to change their career, or just people that want to learn more about programming. I've seen them improve and listen to feedback by students every day in my 6 month coding journey.

I started the remote Software Engineering bootcamp with HyperionDev as I wanted a structured course with the potential of support during my learning - this would have been a great change of pace since trying to be self taught for a few months prior. From orientation, I was surprised at the high levels of professionalism from the team. This carried throughout the course, indicating a high functional team that would be able to handle all my requests and accommodate any reasonable requests. The support was one of the key factors of choosing the course. I was able to speak to mentors that are extremely helpful in getting me over a conceptual hurdle. The remote mentor calls were a bit short at 30 mins, however I was able to get useable value from the calls. The mentors were friendly and eager to understand and help as best they could given the problem. The mentors are more so available on Discord, this proved to be the most useful to me. On Discord, one can ask questions and receive a response within a few hours at most to push one in the right direction. The content is well structured and allows the student to research and google answers, simulating the environment in industry. While difficult in the beginning, I am now more confident in approaching problems that I don't know and what steps to take when this happens. The content assumes no prior knowledge of code, and starts off with simple concepts and builds on those foundations to later making use of those concepts to make projects that can be shown to prospective employers. The content does not just include coding concepts, but also rounded introductory concepts that someone would face in their workplace, like how software development teams plan, structure, and launch projects, Agile methodologies, etc. While I have no graduated yet, I cannot speak to the careers services offered at HyperionDev, which was the main reason I took up their course. The promise of joining the network of alumni and any assistance in finding a job is an extremely helpful prospect especially since they are big industry players - I shall be updating this review when I enter their graduates part of the course. OVerall, I think that if someone would like to learn the basics of how to code using Python and Java at industry level standards with a strong support system helping at every single step of the way, HyperionDev is the way to go. This can be for people who have never coded before in their life, or for people who need to round their skills up. HyperionDev, for the time spent, proves to learn a lot in its intensive course programme.

Hyperiondev is a best place to learn coding, the code reviewers give good feedback on tasks, their capstone projects are magnificent because they combine all the concepts you learned prior to the projects, overall im having a good experience here.

After doing Much research on how to start my coding journey  to give me the best chance of success, there eventually was no contest as Hyperion Dev suited all my needs Having an online study option while still having a mentor to guide me is a tremendous help.There curriculum also was structured with the starting points of what one really needed to know, basic understanding, object-oriented and database.But more importantly, the support from the institution themes selves was always great They reply one time, and always tried to help to accommodate, especially when i needed it So if you don't know where to start i, genuinely recommend the team at Hyperion Dev

HELLO ALL, IN ALL HONESTY THE SCHOOL IS AMAZING,FROM MY SIDE OF THINGS IVE BEEN ABLE TO EXTRACT A COMPREHNSIVE PRACTICAL APPROACH/STRUCTURE TO THE WORLD OF SOFTWARE ENGINEERING, IVE BEEN ABLE TO GET A STRUCTUER ON HOW TO LEARN  ANY MORDERN HIGH LEVEL LANGUAGE THAT APPRICIATES FUNCTIONAL TO PROCEDURAL PROGRAMMING,THERE IS SO MUCH IN THIS FIEILD OF TECH BUT AFTER GOING THROUGH THIS BOOTCAMP I CAN ASSUER YOU THE LINGO OF TECH, WELL AGAIN FROM MY SIDE, HAS BEEN SO MUCH EASEIER TO UNDERSTAND,THAT OPENS THE DOOR TO ONE CONSIDERING OTHER FIELDS LIKE DATA SCIENCE AND WEB DEVELOPMENT. A FAIRLY NEW COMPANY PIONEERING THE WAY FOR TECH SKILLS IN SOUTH AFRICA, THIS SOUNDS TO BE GOOD TO BE TRUE , BUT TRUST THIS IS A REAL REVIEW FROM A REAL STUDENT I KID U NOT. NOTHING IS PERFECT AND EVERY ORGANISATION HAS ROOM TO GROW, WHY I LEFT OUT THE LAST STAR ON OVERALL EXPERIENCE U ASK? WELL THE ONLINE HELP COULD BE IMPROVED SOOOOO MUCH, I DONT THINK THE APPROACH OF ASKING STUDENTS TO HELP OTHER STUDENTS IS EFFICIENT, RATHER IF THERE WERE MORE MENTORS/ASSITANTS FROM HYPERION DEV IN EACH BOOTCAMP SUBJECT WHO'S DAILY OBJECTIVES ARE TO AWAIT STUDENTS WHO NEED HELP AND BE READY TO ASNWER INSTANTLY/OR CLOSE TO THAT, BECAUSE THE SCHOOL LIKE I SAY, AMAZE,CONTENT,AMAZE,UNDERSTANDING,AMAZE...OTHER THAN THAT ONSITE HELP THERES NOTHING T0 SAY BOUT THAT,THOES MENTORS ARE AWESOME. IM SAYING THIS AS IVE JUST TRANSITIONED FROM ONSITE TO ONLINE..AT THE TIME OF WRIGHTING.. BUT ANYWAY, COME HERE IF YOU WANNA LEARN A GOOD FOUNDATION FOR YOURSELF.

Bootcamp 

 After reading a World Economic Forum Report on the future of jobs, I realized that the world is changing extremely rapidly towards the 4th industrial revolution and technological automation.  I had an insight that you either stay the same or one can adapt to the inevitable change that is on the horizon. I took a leap of faith and decided to change. HyperionDev was instrumental in equipping me with the necessary software skills, teaching me how to think and how to solve complex problems all of which are invaluable in the workplace.  HyperionDev was one of the best decisions I ever made and I would recommend their Software Engineering Bootcamp to anyone who wants to get into software as a career, break into the technology industry, anyone who’s looking to upskill themselves, or if you’re passionate about building software products or tools.  All aspects of the online Bootcamp were excellent. The course curriculum is well structured and thought through. All the information is clear, concise, and easy to understand. The student dashboard is easy to navigate. The is a clear indication of your progression and grades are easily visible. There is constant mentorship support and encouragement through multiple channels of communication and one is not left on their own. There are chat groups with your mentors and your fellow classmates. There is everything you need to make sure that the Bootcamp is a phenomenal experience.  Thank you Hyperiondev for bringing this to South Africa and for adding so much value to the lives of thousands of Bootcamp graduates.  

HyperionDev Course content is very good and they go above and beyond when assisting with obtaining a job. 

I came into the course with no coding experience whatsoever, and after 6 months I feel fairly confident in my basic coding skills, my ability to learn new languages, and my ability to break down and solve problems. There's obviously much more to learn, but I wouldn't have been able to get where I am now on my own. Be warned however: this bootcamp is not easy, especially for total newbies like myself. You will have to commit, put in the hours, and do your own research to successfully complete the program. Be especially aware of this if you are also working a full time job. In the end though, all the hard work is totally worth it, and you get to cover a lot of ground in a short space of time. The onboarding and support staff are really friendly and helpful, and the mentors are invaluable, although the only negative I experienced was sometimes waiting too long for mentors to reply (or even getting no reply). Apart from that, its a great (but challenging) course - I highly recommend it!

 5 Star InstitutionI have had a great experience with them so far (for the past 6 months I have been with them). The instructors (mentors) are always available and it takes just a few hours, if not minutes sometimes, to get them to call you back to assist you. They have also been improving by adding videos for each and every one of their modules (tasks).So, overall, it's 4.9* out of 5 for me. Taking a course with them is worthwhile, it will definitely pay-off.

Hyperion dev is one of the best choices I have ever made, I had a background knowledge of coding before starting my boot campcoding back at college was so challenging , but here at Hyperion Dev everything is clear I can now understand what am doing , thanks to the unique methods of delivering and the good mentors.

I am currently doing the software engineering bootcamp with Hyperion Dev. It has been a great experience so far. The coursework is very informative and while the tasks can be challenging, it is very rewarding to design an effective solution. It feels fantastic to be creative with solving of problems again.

 HyperionDev is an excellent option if you need to start a career in technology from scratch but don’t have the time or money to enroll in a three year course at an university. They start at the very basics but advance quite fast into more complicated concepts. The course content is well put out. Each task has it's own PDF document with all the information you need, but if you want to know more about the topic or need a better understanding you would need to do your own research.  Each task has a few assignments that you need to complete. These range in various difficulties, covering the basics but some can become quite challenge so ask for advise where you can.  Always remember what you put in is what you get out. There are numerous resources at HyperionDev such as mentors and peers who are more than willing to assist. Alternatively Google will become your best friend. If you put in the hours, do some additional research and build a relationship with your mentor then you will reap the fruit of your effortIf your expectations are realistic then you will definitely not regret studying through HyperionDev. They provide the most affordable option if you want an advanced, in depth course. But keep in mind programming in any field is challenging regardless of where you study. For me, HyperionDev made the impossible possible. 

Hyperion Development is an amazing choice for advanced education at affordable prices. As a person previously coming from 2 other colleges, I have also noticed that Hyperion is a lot more helpful than most. Their courses are also short and still teach you what you need to know in order to cope in the working environment.
