SheCodes Basics

I honestly can't believe how much fun I had coding. This workshop was super easy to follow and delivered information in small, manageable lessons. I was so excited to code, I finished the first two weeks within a few days. I really want to continue learning and think this will definitely help me transition to a new career.

The SheCodes workshop was really well structured. I enjoyed doing the challenges after every lesson, so that I could directly put into practice what I had just learnt before. I really enjoyed this course. It has lots of great information. The videos and assignments were useful as was the Slack channel. I really like that it's self-paced which is great if you're a parent like me and need a flexible study schedule.

I finished a SheCodes Basics course just to see if coding was what I like. It probably took me about 20 hours to complete and I essentially did it over an extended weekend. I really liked the project learning based aspect, and that I had the confidence after the course to know what to do from the ground up for some basic functions. The challenges were great and the videos were helpful and informative. The only thing I have noticed since my camp is that while it taught you what to do, sometimes it was lacking on vocabulary, alternative methods, or reasoning behind things. However, it was just the basics course and for the price, it was great. They may go into that in their other programs.Also, I really liked their mission to teach women in developing countries how to code! 

The SheCodes basic course is packed with easy-to-understand concepts and a step-by-step approach. Perfect course for a beginner or a quick reminder for someone more advanced. I would HIGHLY recommend SheCodes Basics for anyone wanting to learn how to code.

This has been such an awesome experience! I have been a classroom teacher for 12 years and was looking for something to increase my marketability. After taking a free session with SheCodes, I decided to purchase the SheCodes Basics course. I have learned so much and am so proud of my new skills.

 really enjoyed learning HTML, CSS, and JS on the SheCodes Basics course. The videos are short and simple making them easy to understand. There are always mentors available to answer any questions you might have when you encounter difficulties. We need more women in the tech industry and SheCodes is tackling this problem by giving us the tools to develop coding skills.

At the end of last year I decided to completely change my career to technology and I'm loving it. I started the SheCodes Basic workshop and I've already learned a lot, I hope to continue to learn more and more. I am very excited about the next workshop plus. This course was amazing. I had previously tried to learn some programming languages but most information didn't stick. Throughout this workshop, I gained more confidence while having fun with the tasks. The course is very well-structured with tutorials that are very easy to understand, followed by homework that helps solidify this theory and put it into practice. By the end of it, I feel like I've acquired useful new skills that I can't wait to improve on.

I recently finish Shecodes Basic course which will be followed by SheCodes Plus, Responsive, and React Courses :DI had an amazing time learning to code with SheCodes, and enjoyed every second of it! The course was very engaging and the process of learning was very smooth. 

I have wanted to learn to code for a while now, tried different online lessons without getting far, but then I found SheCodes and I have not regretted signing up. Best decision if you ever want to start learning to code. Everything is nice and structured, the lectures aren't too long and they are all well explained, followed up with challenges, so you can actually try out what you've just learned. Definitely recommend SheCodes! 

I enjoyed the experience! I appreciate the ability to work when I can with some push for deadlines to keep the process moving. I have learned more than I thought I would. Looking forward to the other workshops!

I enrolled in the Basic SheCode course as one of the first steps in my transition from financier to IT. The course turned out to be another confirmation that expanding knowledge in this direction is a good decision. The course was very interesting. Short videos ending with tasks allow me to see rapid learning progress, even for first-time „web developers :)”. However, for me, the greatest added value was learning to search the Internet for additional information about HTML, CSS, or Javascript. It will allow me to easily and enjoyably improve my knowledge, even after the course
