SheCodes Basics

Joining SheCodes has been one of the best opportunities I have had. In just three weeks of the Basics workshop, I have learnt so much about HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The, lessons are clear and understandable, the challenges and homework are fun tasking, the deadlines given provide that little push to do more and be more intentional. I love the CSS generators and palettes provided, they make projects easier . A big thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team for this opportunity, I can't wait to continue with the more advanced workshops.

SheCodes it's something incredible! I always thought that IT sphere is hard and boring... but with SheCodes for me it becomes more and more interesting! Everything is understandeble, you always can find a support if smth needed... and the moost important thing - practice! I really surprised how many practice I have and in the end of each course you will have a project! Only 3 weeks during SceCodes Basics and I already have my own project! And even certificate... Amazing!

Hi, I'm Ela and I'm from Ukraine. I'm totally satisfied with this course! It was really fun and interesting. Before this course I thought that coding is really boring and hard work, but now I changed my mind in 90 degrees. This course will force you to change the presentation about coding😎. You will be provided with only up-to-date information, surrounded by a friendly atmosphere, they will always help. I found that the lesson were easy to follow along with so I never really had any problems when understanding concepts. If you ever need help though, there is always help in slack. The people on there are very friendly so don't be afraid to ask for help. Overall I would really recommend this course for everyone.”

For a long time, I've had the desire to learn to code, tried many courses in past but was quickly discouraged.The SheCodes workshop was the most straightforward yet simple course to follow. I love the principle of weekly assignments as it encouraged the students to set time to learn better and build our own capacities. I never thought that, one day i will think like this.  really enjoyed the basic SheCodes course. At first I had doubts whether I am able to code, would I like it or not. But during the first week of training I was encoureged as I saw that coding is really interesting and fun. Thanks to Matt for his great lessons and all SheCodes team for support! Although I had had a keen interest in coding, I was unsure if I had what it took to learn computer programming and where to begin if I were to self teach. While searching information about coding online, I came across SheCodes advertisement on YouTube. Even though I usually skip any advertisement whenever possible, I naturally stayed on to watch the entire ad of SheCodes’ and immediately signed up for a free workshop to learn more about it. I was  intensely fascinated and inspired by how Matt Delac, the founder of SheCodes made coding fun and exciting. Here I am just done with SheCodes Basics now. I had never been this focused on one thing in my life and was surprised how quickly the first three weeks went by. I find Matt’s teaching authentic and comprehensive and myself lucky to be able to learn coding from him. I have already learned so much in the first course and am looking forward to see how I can progress from here.  My coding journey so far has been educational and productive, thanks to Matt and SheCodes support team who is there to assist learners like me promptly. I cannot wait to start the next course next week.
