SheCodes Basics

It's really cool and practice-oriented course. And it's indeed what is required for beginners - not to be overwhelmed with complex theory and give up, but to learn something new in a playful manner

It's been a month since I started passing SheCodes, a well-structured easy to understand coding program, that keeps you learn more and more day by day, and it's interesting so far! I've learned so much that already can create a small website about anything! Furthermore, I can't wait to see what I'll create in a year with SheCodes. I'm looking forward to passing all the levels and being able to create an animated website or even an online shop. Thanks, Matt, for the provided opportunity!

SheCodes Basic is a great journey in itself. I loved the way workshops are structured with challenges that give ideas for using the learnings from workshops on our own. I have learned so much about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in just 3 weeks. It's all about Learning by doing. After finishing SheCodes Basic I am feeling confident in my learning. I really enjoyed being part of this journey and looking ahead to more.

I had always thought that coding and programming languages were so difficult and totally un-learnable, but only 3 weeks in my coding journey and I can't believe I am totally killing it! They teaching videos are so simplified and easy to grasp. The challenges after each lesson encourages practices and mastery and are fun to do. They projects are a total game-changer. I've just finished SheCodes Basics. It's an amazing experience - thanks to Matt and the team. All lessons are interesting and useful. Every lesson has enough information to learn something new and to inspire for further research on the topic.

I started this journey wanting to learn something new, but not really knowing what to expect. This is only the beginning, but I am proud of what I have accomplished and learned in such little time. I enjoyed taking this workshop. Matt explains everything in much detail and he is easy to follow. I was able to work at my own pace and received much help from classmates and SheCodes staff through Slack. All reference material was accessible at the press of a button if I ever found myself stuck in any particular section of my projects. This workshop was easy to follow, easy to complete, fun, informative, innovative, and encouraging.

I really enjoyed my time in SheCodes. All lessons are structured in the right direction which helps easier to understand and there are a lot of practice. I highly recommend this course to everyone interested in learning to code. I'm grateful to Matt and team for the great job!

I really enjoyed the Basics class and found the step-by-step process very helpful since I am brand new to coding. It took me longer than the suggested time I think partially because I kept a detailed notebook and really wanted to try to figure out the solutions on my own to learn as much as possible through problem-solving. I look forward to the next workshop, SheCodes Plus!

After having been interested in coding for ages, I finally decided to give it a try. This workshop was the perfect start for a beginner like me. I enjoyed the mixture of video input and practical exercises. Connecting with other coders on Slack was a big plus and homework was reviewed very swiftly!

This class was easy to follow and I learned so much! It has sparked a new love in me for coding. I feel the creative energy flowing!!🎉🙌

I recommend this workshop to anyone who wants to learn how to code but is a bit scared. The lessons and challenges are fun and easy to follow. It is just like learning another language.
