SheCodes Basics

I highly recommend this workshop to all those who want to do something different with their lives. It's great to figure out if you want to learn more about coding or not. I loved it and I intend to continue investing in this area. 

It felt so good being able to complete the beginner's course. Matt's instruction were easy to follow. I honestly don't think I could've done it without him. I cannot wait to continue on to the next workshop.

The workshop was really fun and, especially, it was perfectly tailored for someone (like me 😃) who had no experience with HTML, CSS, and Java Script! The lessons are short and at the end of each one there's an assignment, so that you can immediately practice what you learned. I also found Athena AI very useful for every question I had during the workshop.

I have tried other coding classes in the past and SheCodes was the only one that helped me truly understand JS. Matt, the instructor does an excellent job at organizing the weekly lessons and assignments in a way that really speaks to my style of learning. I was able to follow along and loved that after you submitted your challenge, he would go over the solution so you can understand where you may have went wrong and how to fix it. I wanted to see if coding could be for me and I loved the creativity and organization that goes into it and I'm so glad I took SheCodes Basics. I plan to enroll in SheCodes Max soon!

The lessons are bite-sized, easy to follow and digest, and work well for busy people. I will rate this five out of five! For me, it is perfect as it is :)I love how the video lessons demonstrate the instructor’s expertise, and understanding of the students’ possible dilemmas. This virtual empathy helps in alleviating the learners’ worries, transforming them into motivations to work through the assignments and the course project. 

SheCodes is a great platform to get started to learn how to code because it is beginner friendly and our instructor explains every concept clearly and makes it easy to grasp the content, so anyone can do the course and be able to succeed.

This workshop really helped me learn not only the basics but also the capabilities you can achieve. I loved being able to be creative and challenge myself to produce what I set out in my wireframe. I would recommend this course to anyone because it allowed me to learn at my pace, yet feel challenged and supported at the same time. I will continue my dev educational journey in the next SheCodes workshop.

When I was at university I enrolled into a Computer Science course to complete my studies. It was an horrible, extremely confusing, experience. We were left alone trying to cope with things that were never explained to us. I somewhat managed to pass, but whenever I would hear the word "coding" I would just label it as something I couldn't do. I decided to give coding a second chance when I saw SheCodes and I'm extremely glad I did! Sometimes, all you need is a good teacher and dedication 🌞

The lessons are very well explained, so I didn't feel lost at any moment of the workshop. I didn't know that coding could be so much fun! The challenges make the learning more enjoyable and you test the material yourself.

Where do I even begin? At this point I already calling myself a full stack developer because this is my end goal and with the rate we are learning with our President Matt it is going to be possible in a space of six months only. I highly recommend the SheCodes Basics Workshop - it's simply fantastic! The course is thoughtfully designed with small, digestible lessons followed by hands-on assignments for reinforcement. Matt Delac is an excellent instructor who presents the material in a clear and accessible way, making it easy to follow along even for non-native English speakers like myself. I found the course to be incredibly engaging and enjoyable, like playing a game that I couldn't wait to come back to. Overall, a truly rewarding experience.
