SheCodes Basics

A very thorough introduction into HTML, CSS and JavaScript coding from a very friendly and approachable teacher. The course is challenging in some areas but SheCodes is set up with multiple places to find help. I also loved the community chat - you can test your skills by helping others as well as supporting eachother! I would 100% recommend!

Overall, I highly recommend SheCodes to any woman who wants to learn how to code. The course is well-structured, engaging, and taught by an experienced instructor dedicated to helping women succeed in tech.

I absolutely loved the workshop, as someone who had never had contact with any programming language. The tasks were straightforward to accomplish, the videos easy to follow and direct, the material accessible, and also the channels of support were much dedicated.

Juggling full time work and a family of two young children is a challenge, the desire to up-skill myself is also a priority for me. Data Analytics and coding interests me greatly. I stumbled upon SheCodes and it was a perfect option that allowed me to study at my own pace and in my own time. The lessons and challenges are short and sweet. Shecodes basic has been an amazing introduction to the world of coding. Having no prior knowledge of coding, learning programing seemed scary in the beginning. but the slow pace of the lessons helped with my anxiety and I started enjoying myself.

Teaching methods in shecodes is so perfect, it is easily understandable and it gives you  usefull information about 3 languages: Html, Javascript, and Css. Shecodes help women to achieve their goals with their kind and patient community. 

I enjoyed this course very much, and I highly recommend it. Matt explains everything step by step, and it makes learning very enjoyable. I learned the basics of coding during this lesson and got a new experience in web development. It made me curious to keep going to the next workshop to learn more. I really couldn't believe that learning could be fun. Matt is considerate about details, and knowing you are in a good team is a relief. With the challenges they'd designed, I could examine myself to ensure I learned every chapter comprehensively.I look forward to the following workshops.

I love the format of this course! The short lesson videos and practice challenges keep me engaged throughout the process while the weekly homework deadlines keep me accountable to stay on track :)
