MIT IDSS AI & Data Science Program

The set-up of lectures and the learning platform in terms of classes, notes, resources were readily available. There were lots of illustrations and case studies which aligned the learning with real life. The lecturers were helpful and available to assist and i also enjoyed the linking/communications with other students in the course. The publishing of results was a nice touch as it also aligned the learner with the rest of the cohort and this provided motivation as well. Reminders and announcements and also importantly the dashboard made interfacing easy and also tracking of one's progress. Overall the learning was a great experience and i would gladly recommend this platform to other potential learners.

I enjoyed my course with Great Learning. I chose low code but was still able to thoroughly comprehend the coding and business application.  The mix of videos, live mentoring sessions and masterclasses was perfect for my learning objectives.

Purse starts from the basics and works its way to the core principles of AI and ML. Deep learning and recommendation systems are introduced and practical examples and courseworks are provided. 

So I have done my Masters and post that I am also working with Industry for past 10 years. The industry demands having theoretical knowledge but more than that application of that knowledge is needed , intuition and hands on is needed.Great learning course helps us in gaining these traits.How come? One is the course content designed in a manner which is industry relevant , the theory knowledge and handson lectures are also divided accordingly.So with time due to concept and handson going hand in hand our ability to analyse the problem, analayse the data, transform the data and apply analytical model enhances.Also chronology of the course contents plays good role, live lectures are a catalyst to your learning process and assignments make you independent and enhance your problem solving skills which makes you industry relevant

I recently took an online course and I really liked it. One of the best things about this course is that you can manage your own time. You can study at your own pace, which is very convenient. The course includes both online materials and virtual meetings, which help you understand the topics better. If you have any problems, there are advisors available to help you out.One thing that could be improved is the project part. It would be nice to have a video explaining the projects. This would make it easier to understand what to do.Overall, I learned a lot about coding, data science, and AI. The course was very helpful and I enjoyed it.

The Data Science and Machine Learning program has been highly beneficial. The course content is well-organized, providing a good mix of theoretical knowledge and practical applications. The instructors are both knowledgeable and approachable, always willing to offer help and support. The hands-on projects were especially useful, as they allowed me to apply what I learned to real-world situations. The course is excellent and informative. I would recommend it to anyone who needs to apply statistics in his work, especially if he is dealing with a large amount of data.  I used to work with Excel, SPSS, Stata, and R. Once, I handled a set of large data with millions of samples. I found out that the programs I was using were not enough to handle such data, and this course came out to help a lot. I would recommend knowing the basics of biostatistics before joining; the course explains that, but the course is full of info, and the pace is high. I couldn't keep up with the pace at some points, but the administration was very cooperative; they really care about your success and get the best out of the course. 

The course was excellent. I enjoyed everything from the content to the learning material and to the morale and the indepth knowledge that the teachers had. The teachers were patient when explaining hard concepts such that I came from a almost zero coding knowledge to perfection. I also got to get questions reviewed on time. I would recommend great learning to anyone willing to learn coding quickly and easily.

I recently completed this course. Having led engineering teams and developed production-grade AI/ML solutions over the past 11 years, I had experience in this field. However, I had never undergone a structured learning path in AI/ML, and this course provided precisely that. The course offered a comprehensive and structured learning path that ensured I was not missing any fundamental concepts. Despite my more than a decade of experience, in this field the well-organized curriculum allowed me to solidify my understanding and fill in any gaps in my knowledge. The program is excellent for generating new approaches to problems and the exercises help you practice the skills you already have or if you do not have them, they will help you develop them, the program is highly recommended

I began this program with no previous experience in Python coding and Data science. The program significantly expanded my knowledge and made me comfortable with examining Python code and functions, connecting them to real-world applications. Learning the code is one aspect, but the ability to apply it and solve problems in real-world scenarios is crucial, and this program has fostered that mindset. The MIT faculty excel at clarifying complex details in an easily comprehensible manner.

Before starting this course, I did not know where to start, but after taking this course not only do I know where to start, I know what type of model fits best the aplication and how to implement it, and after i am able to understand the given results and know how to identify if the model was overfit.Would highly recommend for anyone curious.

As someone without a background in Python coding and Data Science, the Applied Data Science Program offered by Great Learning and MIT faculties has been an excellent gateway to gaining knowledge and skills in Statistics, Data Science, Machine Learning, and Python Coding. The platform is incredibly intuitive, the professors and mentors are highly knowledgeable, and the program has been exceptionally well-organized by Program Manager Shubham Chourasia.While the learning curve was steep for me, the combination of recorded lectures, online sessions, case studies, and hands-on projects allowed me to manage the coursework at my own pace and thoroughly understand the wide range of topics covered. The real-life relevance of the case studies and hands-on projects made them both enriching and rewarding.I highly recommend this course to anyone seeking to acquire new skills or expand their existing ones.

Phenomenal course - I highly recommend this to anyone hoping to learn foundational techniques to understand and build machine learning models. The projects were super informative and applicable to real world situations. Despite having limited python knowledge before, I am now able to complete complex data science tasks in python. Only thing I would recommend is to add a module specifically on data cleaning - it was touched on but felt that we could have dug deeper into that. But generally, full marks !
