I believe that the approach to learning a new subject quickly varies from person to person. It also depends on whether the goal is to pass a test or to apply the knowledge practically in real-world scenarios. The MIT course I took through the Great Learning platform was well-structured and fulfilled both objectives. It offered numerous materials on data fundamentals to repeatedly practice and reinforce Python basics It also included three challenging projects that applied these skills to real-world cases. Through this course, I was able to start my data career in a way that was both enjoyable and strengthened my foundational knowledge and expertise. This was a key difference from other programs, which often focus on theoretical approaches that require a longer time to adapt to practical data applications. The most important aspect of this program was that it sparked our interest in data, reigniting my motivation and providing a strong incentive to continue studying in the future. This is where I found its value to be particularly high.

I recently completed their program on data science and machine learning. The curriculum was well-structured, covering everything from the basics to advanced topics. The instructor was knowledgeable and supportive. I highly recommend for those ready to dive in and work hard. 

Though I was aware about Data Science / AI/ML but I was looking to study formally the Data Science and Machine Learning from reputed institute/faculty. After thorough search & deliberation, I found & joined "Data Science and Machine Learning: Making Data-Driven Decisions" course by MIT IDSS. I had enrolled in the same in May, 2024 and course is expected to be finished by 14-Sep-2024. I thoroughly enjoyed this learning. One thing is sure, I would have not learnt so much myself, if I had not enrolled in this course.Would recommend learners to join if they are serious about learning &  committed about the same! Best wishes! 

MIT DSS is a great course to build foundation of data science. This course take a deep approach on explaining logic behind every algorithm used and how it solve data science case. Case study with diverse challenge and variation implementation of each field gives deep & broad understanding on data science.Though some advance topic are hard to understand, but the idea / concept of why the advance topic is explained clearly. Need some more exploration outside of the course for advance topic part. But, overall is still a great course.

All I knew was that it involved a significant amount of mathematics and statistics. However, my perspective quickly changed after starting the first module on the Foundations of Data Science. The methodical thinking required of a data scientist has influenced how I analyze and interpret data, even in my current field within the tea industry.Each topic presented in the course was both challenging and exciting, pushing me to think more broadly and critically. I had never done much with computers, just the basic and a few issues here and there affecting my browsing. the moment some of this issues were discussed and how much detail it goes to it my mind was opened. Take a topic like Recommendation system  i had never  known how much details Netflix or YouTube go to match me to what i want. The networking system also was something strange but now familiar especially when they talked of how the police got the mob boss. I expected a lot of Algebra in the beginning when we were introduced to python turns out they are all set you just need to know what to use in your table and derive a conclusion. Overall, for someone who knew little about computer now stands at gained ALOT!

Data Science and Machine Learning Program far exceeded my expectations. I am able to analyze data and help in data driven decision making. The course design, structure and delivery were awesome especially the mentor learning session with industry specialists. Backhand program support was always there to navigate the hurdles.
