MIT IDSS AI & Data Science Program

I truly appreciate all the amazing efforts made by Great Learning, from the course designs, complexity allocations, mentor sessions, and above all, the lecture formats, etc. I know some of the coding before the course, in addition to the probability math that I barely remembered too much since I have been away from school for a while. It is Great Learning who helped me pick up the knowledge so quickly and help me understand such complex theories on machine learning in incredibly easy way. All I want to say is “Thank you”! I would recommend anyone who wants to deep dive on data science signing up for Great Learning!

My experience with Great Learning facilitating the MIT IDSS Data Science and Machine Learning certificate has been wonderful. I started as a beginner, with no coding background, little math education, and some statistics education from my grad school days. The python basics course was well designed and got me prepared quite well. The mentorship support was fantastic. I didn't think I'd enjoy spending my weekends in the virtual classroom, but our mentor made our classes so incredibly interesting and useful and I gained real-life insights into what it's like to work in the field. The course stretched me beyond my comfort zone. Yet with the support of everyone involved, the hard work was fun, and conquering some complicated case studies gave me incredible confidence that I will be able to apply what I learned in real life. I am beyond thrilled with what I accomplished, thank you Great Learning, my mentor Manu, and MIT IDSS faculty. 

I recently completed the "Data Science and Machine Learning: Making Data-Driven Decisions program by MIT IDSS" and I have to say that it was an incredible learning experience. The course material was well-organized and easy to follow, with a good mix of theory and practical exercises. The instructors were knowledgeable and always available to answer any questions I had. One of the things I appreciated most about the course was the variety of topics covered. From data cleaning and preprocessing to data visualization, classification, recommender systems, and networks, I felt like I gained a comprehensive understanding of the field. I also appreciated the real-world examples and case studies used throughout the course. It helped me see how the concepts I was learning could be applied in a practical setting and gave me a better understanding of the types of problems data scientists encounter on the job. Twinkle (the program manager) was always reachable to help me sort any issue I have had. Overall, I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to gain a solid foundation in the field. It was an incredibly valuable learning experience, and I feel confident in my ability to tackle real-world data problems.

It was a well-detailed and relentless course that helped me look at data from a different perspective. The real-life projects helped further the accumulated knowledge; as a software engineer, I have already started applying the knowledge to some projects I am working on. It was a great course with the availability of help from the program manager. I highly recommend anyone looking for a career in Data Science. 

The Data Science and Machine Learning: Making Data-Driven Decisions by MIT IDSS far exceeded my expectations. The material covered was extensive, with a good combination of theory and more importantly practical, take-away examples. A good support system with helpful mentoring learning sessions and hands-on master classes help to clarify concepts. Highly recommended.

It was quite a fulfilling journey! The  mentor learning session was the best part of the program with most knowledgeable mentors who delivered the courses in simplest ways with practical examples. The course content was well developed and the projects were all real world problems. I am fulfilled and ready to exploit the data science and machine learning world.

The best part of this experience for me is the quality of the lecture videos. They are well done and detailed.  The Hands-on Masterclasses are also really good and practical. I enjoyed working on the projects and it was a good part of the program. 

It was challenging for me as a novice in Data Science but the support I received from the Program managers has been amazing and sure leverage for a successful end of the program. I am glad I never gave up.

Great Learning providing one of the best E-learning platforms that I have seen in my recent year course is greatly designed very intense. The Topics were effectively covered by instructors and mentors! Case studies and assignments are real-time scenarios and relevant to the concepts! Timely supports from admin during the study journey!

I recently completed the Data Science and Machine Learning course from Great Learning and MIT. This course was fantastic, primarily due to the care and administrative acumen of the Great Learning staff. In particular, I would like to single out Priya Sunil, who went out of her way to address our questions. The responsiveness made a huge difference. The curriculum was well-paced and also had a lot of hands-on training which is essential for a class of this kind. 

It was a very fast paced and rigorous course that pushed anyone taking it to think like a scientist. the best part about this course is the availability of help from program managers, professors and the community which will always lend a hand when you are stuck or dont know what to do next. the projects helped in furthering the accumulated knowledge further as well as the customized help with reviewing resumes as well as with general career help. it was a fantastic course!

Firstly, Great Learning is great platform for learning Machine Learning and Data Science. The website is very easy to navigate and it’s  clear where everything is. Different units, as well as lessons and projects are separated, which makes the learning process a lot easier.The lessons are also amazing. I learned a lot from the teachers and I really enjoyed the hands on projects assigned. More importantly, the advisors are amazing and very understanding. Admittedly, I was falling behind on some assignments, and I was quickly assisted with what I needed to finish. The support for this program is truly excellent and they were very accommodating to my schedule and needs.Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to start their career in data science.

The course Data Science and Machine Learning: Making Data-Driven Decisions was an excellent oportunity to learn on the increasingly relevant field of data science. The videos and mentors sessions were clear, instructive, and open to the dialogue with the learners.  I would like to highlight the commendable work of the program managers, especially Priya Sunil, who helped and supported the learners in a very professional and human way. Absolutely recommended!

It was hard for me to convinced my dad to let me enter the course. that is because, i am still a student, and the fee is near RM7k when you convert it from USD to Malaysian ringgit. But, he let me entered the course due to the quality of the university. I convinced him that this university can offer me the best teachings on the subject. My goal after the course is that i can be more knowledgeable in data science so it would help me later in my studies (i am astronomy major so this course would help me to utilize data science in astronomy). not suprisingly, the course did help me understand a lot on data science and machine learning. really recommend this course for anyone who wants to use this knowledge for future needs, or who is passionate in learning this topic or just learning in general. 

Great Learning is the best platform to study Data Science and Machine Learning, I have truly enjoyed my studies on the platform and I have learnt a lot from the mentors.I have learnt a lot since I enjoyed and can’t wait to apply all the knowledge I have obtained in the real world.I highly recommend this platform to anyone looking to kickstart a carrier in Data science.

The program is robust, challenging and interesting at the same time. The course content is well- design and developed by top experts/ Data scientists in the field to accommodate new persons in Data Science and Python like me. The Professors shared great content on their recorded sessions just as the Mentors provided support in understanding  the concept by bringing on real live example and application of the various models through the live session. The program Manager Monika Bisht was amazing and supportive through out the program. I strongly recommend to any one interested in pursuing Career in Data Science and Machine Learning as this the best learning experience I had. Coming from a finance and operational background, I was very nervous starting a Data Science course. This  was unfounded as I found both the cource and academic support both stimulating and extremely helpful. Upon completion of the course I am confident and excited about my new career path .. 

The Data Science and Machine learning program at great learning in collaboration with MIT IDSS was just awesome.The program was designed to be successful.The course topics were fully explained, with well detailed hands-on.The program management and support are top-notch.
