Live - Full Stack Software Engineering Bootcamp

Before committing to TrueCoders as a bootcamp, I took awhile scouting other bootcamps and speaking with their counselors. I ended up choosing TrueCoders and I am definitely glad I did! They offer an affordable 9-week course for both Full Time Software Engineering or Software Development - as well as flex courses for those who work or have a busy life schedule. I decided to quit my job and go for the 9-week Full Time Software Engineering course. The biggest decision for me was that I did not want to be 'away from the job market' for 6+ months like the other bootcamp courses. I can say that in the end, 9 weeks was enough for me to gain the knowledge I needed to be confident that I am a sprouting Software Engineer! Their courses were very thorough and each module helped me understand how to apply coding along with various options on how to solve exercises. I highly recommend TrueCoders for a number of reasons to anyone whether you are changing your career paths or starting one! I initially thought I'd be intimidated taking courses with possible other students/teachers who already had coding knowledge and that I'd be far behind. However, they go through the basics and provided pre-course work to get yourself familiar with the concepts. Our instructor, John, was a C# guru and really knew his stuff, he was also patient, fun, and cool - he always made time for us during class and afterwards to address any of our questions. We also had 3 Teacher's Assistants for a class size of roughly 25. That means PLENTY of one-on-one time during lectures, and afterwards too. I did not feel like I ever fell behind from all the help they provided. Students can also schedule 1-on-1's with other teachers too! There is always someone who can help. Every teacher is willing to take his time to answer your questions and provides special care and attention to EACH student! What company does that! Every week we also had our Career Services coach, Denise, meet with us to provide much needed guidance on helping us set ourselves up to find that dream job and pass that interview. We need a daily dose of Denise - she's one of the most enthusiastic and charismatic person you'd ever meet! Always leaves your cheeks cramped from smiling/laughing. The course curriculum is organized very well and each lesson has great and challenging exercises. The coursework is just right, not too overwhelming nor too light. I didn't feel like I was burning myself out while cramming in a ton of info in a short amount of time. What makes TrueCoders stand out from the rest is their attention to providing one-on-one help to their students. It's not just a lecture and goodbye. Give it a try and be off to the next chapter of your career - you won't be disappointed! 

If you're looking to go into the tech field, TrueCoders is the course for you. Starting off, I knew nothing about software developing but in 9 weeks I went from knowing nothing to being a TRUE developer. With the extra help through 1 on 1 training and the training through career services, you will be ready for the tech industry. I recommend TrueCoders to anyone.

Had a great time during my time at Trucoders the teachers were very helpful and knowledgeable. We had a small to medium class size with multiple student teachers so there was always somebody available to help us. Unlimited 1 on 1 time after class is also a nice benefit to have when working through new material. Meetings with career services weekly and she is always available to help or answer any questions you might have. 

This course is amazing for people who are looking to change careers or even just gain more experience in the technical field.  The instructors were extremely supportive and helpful. They make sure to pack as much useful information they can into a 9 week course. The amount of knowledge I am leaving with is astonishing. I would recommend this course to anyone.

Couldn't have asked for a better introduction to coding. The instructors are incredibly helpful and patient, the curriculum is well-developed, and the career services alone are worth enrolling in the course. Denise will get you where you want to go! The price you pay upfront is the only cost associated with the course. As long as you've got a computer, all the programs and websites they use are free. Best money I've ever spent.

I came into this course with no experience. Through the nine week course I am now comfortable working in C#, SQL, .NET Core, Git, ASP.NET, MVC, HTML, and CSS. The instructors will help individuals as often as needed, so any questions one may have will always be answered.On top of all of that, Denise with Career Services will give you all the information needed to network, find opportunities, and successfully interview for the job. If you have even the slightest inclination to learn computer programming, I would highly recommend TrueCoders. 

TrueCoders has been such a wonderful experience! I was nervous about leaving an industry I was in for almost 10 years. Jeremy, Andrea, and Morgan, have all been here to help me along and feel more confident about this new career path. I am so excited to see where my future takes me after going through this bootcamp!

A fantastic company with lots of support and a great curriculum. You will learn so much in only 9 weeks! The teachers are always willing to do whatever it takes to make sure that you are successful. There are lots of opportunities for questions during and after class, one on one appointments, and labs. There is even someone available to answer questions on the weekend! The career services is excellent and provides lots of assistance on preparing your resume, LinkedIn and with mock interviews. This is a great place to start your software engineer career!

I enrolled into this program because I wanted to make a career change. I 've had a great learning experience, developed new skills that would open doors to new position in software development. The instructors are very knowledgeable and very helpful. You can come to them for help before and after class, because they care about the student progress. As at this time of review, I have not gotten into seeking assistance in job placement, but it is a great place to make you succeed in your career and job search.I would definitely recommend this program to anyone looking to get into web development and programming skills.

 I cannot express how happy I am to have gone through True Coders. I originally had worked with C# on and off for more than a year so I had a little bit of knowledge when I joined. However, it was very clear that the course was designed for even those who have never wrote a line of code before. Despite this, I still found myself learning valuable information in the first week.The atmosphere is great. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and the focus remains on getting you a job throughout the entirety of the course. You will have assistance along the way from your fellow peers and from the True Coders staff. If you are looking to get started in the industry I would 100% recommend this course. In fact, I actively recommend the course to friends/family who are looking for a new career. 

Super happy I made the right choice in attending TrueCoders after feeling like I was going nowhere with my last job. TrueCoders has a well-designed curriculum with good instructors, amazing one on one assistance and I can't forget about Denise with Job Placement. In my class, Whit did a great job of not only teaching but also guiding the students who came from a broad level of prior competence. Not only did I learn a lot during the classes about C#, SQL, and full-stack development, but I now have much in the way of resources and projects to use as reference going forward. The class was offered online and that all went well - better than I could have imagined. Thank you Whit and TrueCoders.

TrueCoders is a great school if you want to learn Full Stack Web Development (JavaScript) or Full Stack Software Development (C#). It only takes 9 weeks to learn, and they also teach you how to get a job along the way!

I really enjoyed my time with TrueCoders. The curriculum is full of relevant material, but was well paced. The instructors during the one-on-one sessions were patient and knowledgeable on a multitude of topics in the field. The tools and tips given during the career development portion of the course are very insightful and helpful, properly preparing me to step into the information technology field confidently. I also love the sense of community even after graduation, knowing that there is a group that I can bounce ideas off of and receive assistance, if needed, is definitely reassuring. 

TrueCoders presents a 9-week course that is pretty intensive. You definitely have to put in the work both inside and outside of class. During the 9-weeks, most time is spent on C#, but then there are some great overviews of SQL statements, HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, APIs, JSON and IDE. I went from absolutely no coding experience to and entry-level programmer. I have confidence that I can now join a company, learn their methods, and quickly advance my journey in programming. 

Great Bootcamp for beginners and intermediate developers. You will work on projects independently and with classmates. Main focus is on C# and then SQL. Less focus on HTML,CSS, and Javascript. C# can be overwhelming for beginners so I'd recommend doing some studying before on W3schools or a similar site before class starts. I had a great instructor (Michael Doyle) and you have unlimited help with 1on1 zoom calls if you are struggling or need help with anything. The job placement side is pretty good especially if you have no prior experience or knowledge in interviewing, applying, etc. Resources for interview practice is also nice. You will have the tools to practice what questions to answers on an interview. I'd also recommend taking a couple web dev, C#, ethical hacking/ cyber security, and SQL course along with this bootcamp (After this class would be ideal). Just because you will be spending most of your day working on True Coders material. This goes for the Software Engineering curriculum. While attending they added the Web Dev course. Great support and alumni!

Overall my experience was a great one and I feel confident to enter the industry after my training.

TrueCoders is a great place to learn how to become a software developer. Coming from a financial background with zero knowledge of coding, TrueCoders gave me the skills and confidence to become a software developer. The staff, teachers, and students were and still are amazing support group 

Great class. As much one on one time as you could need, not an overwhelming experience!

Overall the course is worth taking. The instructors are helpful, they utilize technology in a good way (slack, zoom, google classroom). I would have liked it to me be a little more strict on deadlines, assignment completion, etc. After the first few weeks the course becomes very independent, the instructor holds lecture everyday and is there for any and all questions, and I can't stress how helpful the instructors are, but there is no attendance and if you don't complete the course work then no big deal it seems. This may work for some people, but part of the reason I took the course was to have that person standing behind me with a whip so to speak. Again, others may like this aspect. The only real problem I had with the course is that the job placement side of things is really just career advice and networking. To be fair they do hold job placement talks twice a week, in these talks they go over things like, how to build a resume, setting up your LinkedIn, sample interview questions, etc. What they don't do, is put you in front of jobs, at most, they might set you up with the handshake and pass you off, that is, if they (by chance) have a connection with the company you are seeking. If you are looking for a school where recruiters will join your chat or even have job postings regularly presented to the students, this is not for you. My experience with this side of the school was, "we have a huge network of companies that we work with, so we can help you get a job", which more or less translated into, "if you find a job you want to apply for (on your own) ask me, and I might have a connection to that person/company". I will admit that I did not attend most of the job placement talks, mostly because they seemed elementary, e.g. "if you are going to interview, read the job description and prepare yourself, come up with questions", maybe its just me, but these things seem obvious. I'm not trying to say that this is completely negative, I will admit that the talks are motivational and will keep your mind in a positive place, and it will help you keep the sense that it is possible and you will change your life from this decision. However, for me there was a clear disconnect between the level of professionalism and expertise of the instructors compared with the job placement side. If you are looking to learn how to code in a variety of languages from little to no experience, you have come to the right place.TL;DR - Good school, mediocre job placement.

This is probably one of the best courses out there to help you learn a skill and get work. The full time course is 9 weeks with an instructor who is always there to help out. You get a super nice counselor who helps in so many way from interview skills and getting your resume nice and shiny.
