I have to say when I was looking for a bootcamp my main thing was my budget but I didn't want to feel like I was loosing out on anything by paying less my wife was the one who found true coders and when comparing them with other bootcamps and chatting with a friend I came to a decision that I needed a foundation and someone to help me make sense of things that I will learn and what little I have learned prior ward in my forever I gotta say True Coders did deliver and now I can move forward in my forever learning career.

5 Stars all the way because all my expectations were met!!I researched and inquired with many boot camps before deciding to choose TrueCoders. The affordability is mainly what drove my decision. Secondly, I asked some friends and family that are senior level developers what they thought based on the course material. They all had positive responses and told me that this course had a great foundation to start with. I started this course with absolutely no knowledge of Coding. I learned more in nine weeks than I ever could have imagined! The staff was always helpful. It was more than noticeable they were passionate about teaching and sharing their knowledge. The biggest aspect is that they are all out for your best interest! That is to instill enough knowledge to pursue a position in the Software Engineering world upon graduation! I liked that we had weekly meetings with career services to gain confidence in ourselves, developing our personal brand and learning tips and many avenues when pursuing a career in Software Engineering. I liked that everything we learned on a daily basis had purpose moving on to the next subject. This was consistent and made everything really come together by the end of the course! Overall, TrueCoders was a great experience! It was challenging, not too hard on the wallet, I learned more than I imagined I would, and most of all I can honestly say that I am confident in pursuing a position in Software Engineering now!!

Coming into the course, the only experience I had with coding was from a few YouTube videos that I had watched. Now, I have the confidence and experience to get a job. The course was very well paced and the instructor made sure that I fully understood each assignment and lesson before moving onto the next. The assignments are constructed towards helping you build a resume that will be more appealing towards employers and you even complete a few projects that will help you stand out among other candidates. In terms of helping you prepare for the job search, there are weekly sessions with career services to help you construct a resume, prepare for interviews, and give you the knowledge of what it takes to get a job in the field of software development. Also, most of the alumni before are ready and willing to talk to you about their experiences with the program, projects they are working on, and the job search they went through after completing the program.

TrueCoders is a great, cost effective bootcamp especially for students who have no background in coding. If you are reading this review, you most likely are shopping around and trying to decide which coding bootcamp is the best fit for you (or you should be...).Since TrueCoders is one of the shortest programs out there (at least out of the ones that I reviewed) at only 9 weeks, it is unrealistic to cover as much curriculum/topics as other programs that are 6 or even 3 months long. TrueCoders lays a great foundation for students in providing fundamental knowledge via lectures and practical coding practice through various projects. A perfect example of the trade-off that you sign up for with TrueCoders is the following: For the software-engineering track, TrueCoders goes into depth in C# but not nearly as much in JavaScript whereas in a 6 month program, you would go just as in depth (and probably even in more depth) in both C# and JavaScript (and maybe even a 3rd or 4th language). However, you are also paying twice as much for the other bootcamps (or at least considerably more). IF - and it is a big if - you have confidence that you can take what you learned ABOUT HOW TO LEARN A CODING LANGUAGE in TrueCoders going through it once with C# and be able to leave the proverbially nest to learn other languages not taught in depth / at all like JavaScript or Python, then TrueCoders is probably the best value buy out there and will be a great fit for you. If you would like more hands-on guidance for a longer period of time, then maybe a longer bootcamp is for you (which will be more expensive). The curriculum and instructors were good in the sense that they met my expectations. The reason why I gave them 4 stars is because I feel that I would have gotten around the same experience with other bootcamps in these two categories. There was really nothing in the curriculum where I went "WOW - I bet no other bootcamp out there is doing this!". However, the curriculum was well built (although, again shallow in various areas due to the 9 week time constraint) and well explained. Regarding the instructors, I had a very professional and good instructor. Really what made it for me, however, was an extremely knowledgeable on-call "Instructor" that would basically only do individual tutoring sessions (or 1 on 1s). I asked him at least one question a day, and he was very, very helpful. He was the biggest contributing factor to my overall positive experience at TrueCoders. Unfortunately, there were a few other "instructors" that were not responsive to messages - either basically said "I am busy. Sorry" or did not even respond. To be clear, this was not my main instructor who was always very responsive. However, I did expect at least a message back. Again, this could happen at any bootcamp though, so I do not knock TrueCoders too much for this. For the last category of Job Assistance, the jury is still out. As of this writing, I just graduated from TrueCoders and just started to apply to jobs 3 days ago. Only time will tell if the preparation and advice given for job assistance will pay off. I will say that this is one area where TrueCoders is putting in visible effort to support students though. There is dedicated time each week where the a member of the Career Services team will talk to the cohort about everything related to job hunting from the very basics of resume and LinkedIn creation to interview practice. While the information is out there on the web if you look for it, it is very helpful to have it all available in one place and - most importantly - have a veteran person who has many years of experience in HR and recruiting as a resource to who you can ask questions to. To wrap up, you could debate for hours which bootcamp has the best curriculum and why. TrueCoders is not going to be #1 on that list based on curriculum alone, although it would be at least in the middle of the pack (again - there is only 9 weeks). However, I believed before the program started and still believe after having now completed the program that TrueCoders is at the top of, if not #1, from a cost-value perspective. This again, however, hinges on two factors: 1. Make sure that C# is a programming language that is desired at whatever company you want to work for (because many bootcamps teach JavaScript or Python instead) and 2. You have to be ready to CONTINUE learning on your own after the bootcamp. The way I justify it is that I am using the difference in length from a 3 or 6 month program and the 9 week TrueCoders camp to start the "second half" of my bootcamp that is self-guided and FREE! The reality is that most everyone in the class does NOT have jobs lined up before they graduate. It will probably take the large majority of us a month or two (or even longer) to get a job. However, 9 weeks + 1 or 2 months is still a total of 3 - 4 months which is on par (yet more flexible and cheaper) than if I signed up for a 3 month bootcamp. I am still happy with my choice to sign up for TrueCoders, and I am ready to keep putting in the work to keep improving now that the bootcamp has finished.Best of luck to you in your search!

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience having gone through this 9 week program. My Instructor, Jeremy, was down to earth, and created a great learning environment without fear of judgement or additional stress. TrueCoders provided many means of assistance, with standby TA's and options for 1v1 sessions during or after class. I appreciate the encouragement and standby help I've received Jeremy, Monica and Morgan!

I signed up for the Full Stack C# bootcamp after two family members successfully found satisfying, high paying jobs after taking it. The instructors were great, informed and available to help for the full length of the course. Alumni hang out in the discord taking time out to help anyone who needs to, or they become TAs that help in class. All and all if you have the time and determination to learn coding this will course will get you there.
Graduate 2022
The curriculum and pace were perfect for me as a beginner, the Director of Career Services, provided some really helpful information and tips for job hunting, and the instructors and TAs always took the time to make sure you understood what was going on. One of my favorite things about this boot camp is the discord channel. You can talk to your classmates, instructors and TAs, but also students, instructors and TAs of other classes. Really loved that when I messaged other instructors for help, they were always willing to setup zoom meetings and help me with my problems, if they had the time. You could tell the instructors and TAs enjoyed their job and helping people. I'm really happy I picked this boot camp, and I would do it again.

Before I joined TrueCoders, I was browsing different bootcamps without really finding one that fit what I was looking for. I was calling and contacting every bootcamp that I found to find if it was the right fit for me. When I called and was contacted by Cruz, he answered all my questions and was really supportive in finding the right fit. That's when I decided to join TrueCoders. The bootcamp really taught me a lot being a developer while pushing me to learn a lot in a short period.

The TrueCoders experience is truly incredible. It is by far the best programming course I have ever taken! After nine weeks of helpful Instructors/TA's, excellent course material, and hard work, it is no joke that I am already making websites and much more! The job help in this course is amazing. No other course that I have heard of has what Denise(Director of Career Services) has to offer... I'm serious! Thank you, John, Michael, Cruz, Miah, Andrea, Morgan, Denise, and Monica for all of your valuable time!

I took the Full-Stack Software Engineering Day Course, and I am amazed at how much we learned in only 9 weeks. TrueCoders was definitely worth the time and money. I am walking away with the confidence that I can go get a job as a Software Engineer. You will need to put in hard work, but they do a great job of guiding you with a great learning flow/structure and progressively more difficult lessons. If you are interested in Software Engineering, TrueCoders is the way to go!

This bootcamp taught me so much! When I was first going to join, I was not sure if it would be too hard something would happen but everything is GREAT!!! The prices are low and the bootcamp is only 9 weeks! I learned so much and I am very thankful that TrueCoders could help me :)

TrueCoders far surpassed my expectations for what I thought I would learn in the class. I signed up for the full-time 9 week Software Engineering class. I was completely new to software engineering and by the end of my 9 weeks I felt ready to go start applying for jobs. This bootcamp prepares you both for the actual work you will be doing and for the career/job hunt side. Each week their amazing and energetic career services lady, Denise, comes into the class and goes over how to build a great resume, LinkedIn, and what else you need to do to promote yourself so you can find a job. She also offers one-on-ones to help you as well. You have class from 9-3 CST each day where the teacher lectures over zoom for part of the day and then you work on your assignments/projects with the teacher and TAs around to help answer any questions. They record the lesson so you can rewatch it if necessary. The entire company wants you to succeed. Each week they ask for a review and the president reached out to address my concerns one of the weeks. They are also there for you after graduation to help as needed. To fully succeed and get everything done inside the 9 weeks be prepared to spend extra time outside of class hours. I am so glad I took this class and would highly recommend it!

When I started this course, I thought it would be very overwhelming, and I was not sure if I would succeed in learning to code. TrueCoders did their job, and in the end, this course was terrific, and I learned everything needed to keep going in the coding world!
Student 2022
I learned so much during the 9 weeks course and I am now confident enough in my coding skills that I feel I can get a great job. I cannot thank the instructors at TrueCoders enough, they always give their students the attention they need to be successful!
Graduate 2022
After checking out a variety of bootcamps, I am so glad I chose TrueCoders! The instructors created a great learning environment and were very patient throughout the 9 weeks. In addition, the program offers a Career Service session each week to help students gear up for the interview process! 1:1 sessions with instructors and Career Services were readily available to provide assistance even outside of class time.
Graduate 2022
Great experience from start to finish! Found TrueCoders by them Sponsoring a YouTube video. Great material coverage for just 9 weeks. I went through the Full Stack Software Engineering Day Course. All of the instructors were very nice, and understanding. They would adjust their teaching technique to fit every student's learning style which was great if you felt you didn't understand something during the lessons and exercises.
Graduate 2022
Throughout the course the Instructors were very patient and extremely knowledgeable, it is a lot of information taken in but the way it is done goes so smoothly. I went from know very little about programming to being confident enough to start applying to companies by the end of the course. Huge shoutout to Amoriss for spending a lot of her time helping me truly understand what I was doing. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get into the world of programming!
Graduate 2022
In the TrueCoders Full Stack Software Engineering day course I was able to expand upon my knowledge of object oriented programming and complete a functioning application with the help of the primary teacher, John Ward, and TAs Amorris Mallet, Jose Villalobos and Morgan Fulbright. With this knowledge and the career services of Denise Shines I was able to successfully interview for a position before the end of the course.

I researched bootcamps for what seemed like forever when I decided to leave restaurant management after 18+ years, for a chance at having a better work-life balance. Just when I thought it just wasn't possible to find something that took less than 6 months to a year, online, affordable, flexible AND full-stack...I found TrueCoders. They provide an affordable online full-stack curriculum for both web developers and software developers, with the option of a 9-week full-time course or a flex option where you can go at your own pace. The best part about either of those options is that you are provided the same resources regardless. You have access to all the instructors, teaching assistants, students in your cohort, past alumni, career services, 1-on-1 appointments through their respective discord channels as well as all the course work, documentation, and past recorded training videos, exercise videos, class sessions and career services talks via their online student portal. And a huge bonus is that you will have access to these resources F-O-R-E-V-E-R! There was never a time where help wasn't available to me when I needed it. Honestly, I can't recommend TrueCoders enough and I'm certain there's many more positives and benefits than what I've already stated. Check out another review below by one of my classmates, Nancy Lee, for more insight and validity to my support for this course. The most useful thing I can say is whether you're fresh or seasoned, you'll come out better in the end with TrueCoders.
