Digital Marketing Flex

I learnt all technical skills regarding digital marketing from basic to advance level. It provides opportunity to learn in flexible timing with special mentor and in groups. It help you to equipped everything that help you get better job or start a digital career.

It is a very hands on program. You learn on your own time but you can connect with people that are in the same program and ask questions along the way. The mentor and ASM are absolutely amazing and helps you understand and navigate the program and everything else in this line. After you finish the basic part of training and graduate to the career coaching part it is stressful but your coach will guide you with passion and gives you so many helpful tips and goes over the interview questions every now and then. I highly recommend this. But if you can afford it I would suggest the immersion program 

Did the DM Flex program w/ Thinkful over the pandemic. I was looking to pivot my career. The course itself was fine, but I think the real value was in the mentor and career coach that you get alongside the program. The mentor is a person who is actively working in the field and you meet with them once a week at least to answer any questions and go over your projects. Then after you graduate you get a career coach who helps you with resumes, interviews, and the job search as a whole. Admittedly there were a lot of rejection letters in my job search, but I did get a couple of interviews, including one with a fairly large nonprofit where I ended up going through 3 rounds of interviews (they ended up choosing someone else, unfortunately). That kept my motivation up to continue applying until I finally found something. Overall I would recommend.

I chose a curriculum at Thinkful to build on some of my public relations experience that I hadn't used since college. The mentors and career coaches really helped the program stand out and gave me the support I needed. I am much better off for having chosen Thinkful. I feel confident in my field of study and got the knowledge I needed to be competitive in the market. This single choice to join Thinkful has changed my professional experience for the better.

Preface: 
Being unemployed, although working as a consultant, during the pandemic I took the opportunity to join Thinkful’s Digital Marketing Flex program to bolster my skill set, as I already had experience in sales, customer/client service, and business development. Unlike many enrollees of Thinkful who plan to enter the tech space, I planned to use this added experience to ultimately obtain a job in sports. 
 
Why Flex?: 
- It offered the flexibility to continue the program without a hitch if I obtained a job during the program.
- I could work at my own pace, whether quickly or steadily.
- I could work when I needed to (perfect for night owls).
- The cost is cheaper compared to the Immersion Program.
- It provided the option to pay for the program only after I receive a qualifying job ($40K minimum).
- It offered eligibility for a tuition money-back guarantee if I don’t receive a qualifying job after 6 months.
 
Curriculum:
The curriculum was well structured, highly educational, well written, and informative with relevant material for measurable marketing in current times while preparing you for the future of marketing. All current topics and platforms being used are discussed, while supporting case studies are provided throughout each section as well. Following each section you’ll complete a project that is designed for you to apply your knowledge and skills learned, then you’ll receive valuable feedback on each project. 
 
Mentorship:
During the program you will be paired with a mentor that has experience in your field, and may even have had experience specifically in the industry in which you may want to work. The knowledge and advice provided was invaluable. I met with my mentor via Zoom once per week. If I needed assistance with anything regarding coursework, projects, or had questions about anything as I began to see things in the real world through the lens of a digital marketer, he was consistently available. 
 
Career Services:
Following completion of the program you get access to a career coach for 6 months. I am just beginning this stage now, so I don’t have much to speak on outside of my initial first week with my career coach. So far I’ve met with my career coach and he hit the ground running. I’ve immediately been provided with advice and many resources to advance my career while refining my job search and networking techniques. 
 
Critique:
Coursework could have gone more in depth in some subjects, HOWEVER, I was provided with a great foundation for each subject to build on even further. 
 
Where Am I Now?:
Although I recently finished the program, I have already had more success with securing interviews than before enrolling in the program. I secured 2 interviews that came on the heels of ending the program and a third scheduled this week. Being able to walk away with a polished resume, LinkedIn profile, and comprehensive portfolio has boosted my confidence when applying to opportunities. In addition, immediately seeing results thus far has ignited even more of a desire to keep building on this foundation. Overall this is a great program that provides great value for the money!

Great experience! Good financing options, informative coursework and excellent mentorship. My mentor was always helpful, consistent and available to help with any coursework or questions. Career services after graduation was very dedicated and helpful. Coursework could've gone more into depth about CRM systems, but gave a great foundation for most aspects of the field and assignments were very very relevant. Good value for the experience and coaching. 

I took part in the digital marketing flex program at Thinkful. The curriculum touches on all of the important subjects in regards to today's digital marketing world and is up-to-date. All of the current platforms and topics are being discussed and taught in a logical order. As a flex student, you don't get to work with instructors or take part in the video/live sessions. You have a mentor though who will help you with your progress. Every chapter handles a different topic and you get to read through it, often filled with case studies, and examples. At the end of every chapter, there is a project for you to work on. This is how you apply the knowledge you have just gained and you can use these projects for your own personal portfolio. Every project is reviewed and you'll receive feedback. At the end of the program, you'll have a comprehensive portfolio that you can use for your career while applying for a job. Overall it's a great program and the career services afterward are extremely helpful. 

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Thinkful. They offer good information where you are working on starting your career immediately. It is CLEARLY their focus to get you going. You will learn the different aspects of digital marketing and apply what you learn to your own portfolio by completing projects. Instructors will give you valuable insight to your projects.I find that the best part about the Thinkful program is the mentorship and the career coaching you get with the program. They will give you amazing resources to use to advance your career. Their goal is to get you going. It has worked for me as I am now working for an agency.Thank you Thinkful!

My overall experience at Thinkful was terrific. I enrolled in the Digital Marketing self-paced program, which is perfect if you already have some subject knowledge or marketing experience and need a flexible schedule. The curriculum was well written and highly educational. It filled in the gaps for me as I was self-taught before the course. The program's most valuable aspect was having a mentor that I could meet with twice a week to go over my weekly assignments and discuss their experience in the field. I was also looking to make a career change, and the results of my job search were significantly more successful after completing my course at Thinkful. I walked away with a solid foundation and additional skillsets and a robust portfolio, resume, and LinkedIn page, which made me more competitive in my job search. I landed several interviews and secured a full-time job in marketing within a month after graduating. If you're interested in a digital marketing career, I highly recommend this course!
