Data Science for All / Colombia

Before DS4A I feel I was just roaming and drifting about my career. Of course, I learned a lot about Data Science on my own, but this was a fire test to realize what was exactly my skills level and all the weaknesses I needed to workup.After the course, I got enrolled in a fast-growing analytics entrepreneurship as a Data Architect / Data Scientist where I'm actually applying the contents and methods of the course.

DS4A Colombia was a very rewarding and enriching experience for my academic and professional training process. The topics, the methodology and addressing real business cases are elements that strengthen the learning path.I can tell you that thanks to the learning obtained, I have currently signed two contracts with the company that sent the challenge with which I did the internship. In my case, be part of the DS4A Colombia 2.0 was the most extraordinary experience I had in Data Science. Before this, I was doing data science without knowing all the tools and techniques developed every day. The curriculum, videos, lessons prepared by the teachers, and TA's are the best, so clear and easy to follow. The best part is Prof. Natesh Pillai that motivates you to become a data scientist no matter your work field. I'm grateful that I got the possibility to attend this training. This course is amazing, prof.  Natesh is amazing, he makes the course very engaging, he is funny, the methodology lets you interact within the class with others. About the curriculum, for me it is really good, it covers several Data Science tools you need in order to do well as a Data Scientist, it covers Exploratory Data Analysis, Modeling, Hypothesis testing, Deep Learning, SQL among others which gives you a good overview of the basics of each subject. Maybe the content does not dive deeply into the specifics but I think is good enough. The other amazing thing is that for each topic, you are working on a real problem, with a real dataset, which is amazing as you are learning by doing (programming in python every concept) which let's you a better understanding and also there is a real project on which you have to work with a teams in order to apply for the graduation. At the end you have to pitch your project, your solution for a real-world problem which is amazing. I think the course is useful for people learning Data Science, not so advanced but a really good one.

I highly recommend the program as you will learn how to think instead of just formulas or model names. The Correlation One team will guide you to a new perspective of ML ans DS that will make you love more the subjects. In my particular case this course open new opportunities in my career as analyst and make me aspire to be a Data Scientist in a nearly future.

A great experiece, both fun and really challenging, it has a lot of tools of practical use since day one. It's been really helpfull at my current position which earned me a raise!I strongly reccommend this course for its relevant topics, great methodology, Awseome  teachers and staff. It's a lot of work but really worth it.

This course will get you to a intermediate level when it comes to Python, Machine Learning and Data Science. This is great and will give you many opportunities, but the best part of this course in my opinion are the contacts you can make. You will be in contact with professionals form different companies in Colombia and it is probable that you might do business with some of them eventually. Also you will have a 100% English curriculum, which might enhance your English skills and give you more confidence when it comes to speak this language. I truly recommend this course!

 As Mathematician, I have always wanted to study topics related to Machine Learning and Data Science, but I haven't really worked in Python; however I apply to the program and I love it. I like the fact that they have small "boot camps" used to learn or reinforce the knowledge in some programs/ python libraries; I also like "wide" of topics that we see, I don't know much, but I feel that we see a little of almost everything,  and if you want you can go deepen on some topics by your own. And the final project was also exciting for me, because have never been worked in a software solution and study in a similar real environment help me a lot (I learned about Slack, how to use git properly, how to organize a project and so on).Finally, I have a doubt with the institution, they really help me to get a job, I could get a good one with a huge Medellín company.
