My experience with the MIT Great Learning course in Applied AI and Data Science was excellent. The course content, especially the hands-on practice sessions, was very effective in helping me understand real-world applications.The live classes and weekend mentor sessions were also valuable for reinforcing concepts and clearing doubts. The MIT faculty lectures were the highlight — they break down complex algorithms in a way that actually clicks, and the progression from statistics fundamentals through deep learning and recommendation systems felt logical. The capstone project was genuinely rewarding and gave me something concrete to show for the effort.The mentorship sessions were good — practical, code-heavy, and directly tied to industry use cases. The program managers were responsive and kept things on track.

The course is great in regarding to learning materials - from deep theory to practical hands-on knowledge via case studies. Flexible studying modes with mentor sections at the weekend. Great lectures from MIT Professors. Course structure is clear and easy to follow. I learnt what I needed to learnt. Great support from Program Manager, Mentors and the team when never I need help.

I was enrolled in the Applied AI and Data Science program with MIT through Great Learning. My overall experience was great, lots of support and excellent materials.  The program covers Python, data analysis, data visualization, generative AI, and machine learning. The program covers most of the courses needed to start a career in data or learn data science. The only hiccup with the program could be the Zoom sessions held on weekdays during work hours. If you have a job during the week on regular business hours, this could be an issue. If not, please go for it.

I loved the AI course from Olympus GreatLearning affiliated with MIT. I had been wanting to get on the AI journey since quite long but I am happy that I chose this specific course as it gave me all the required concepts knowledge along with some great real-world projects. I was effectively able to put the theoretical concepts knowledge into the Python projects. I could implement various modeling techniques. I am very pleased with what I learnt.

This was the first fully virtual class I've taken and I wasn't sure what to expect, but between the mentors, the well prepared resources, the ease of the platform, and the very accessible program managers, I can safely say my expectations were exceeded. I always felt I had someone to ask my questions to, and the course was thorough.

It was an incredible journey, tough at times but I made it through. A lot of tough nights but we received incredible support from the program office, it was indeed a learning curve but I gained a lot of knowledge and it was a great opportunity to get to upskill.

I finished the MIT Professional Education Applied Data Science Program: Leveraging AI for Effective Decision-Making. I started with a STEM and coding background, but the course is also designed for individuals with basic math knowledge. The team provides pre-course material that helps you catch up before you start. Before starting the course, I had some ML knowledge from other scattered courses and from applying it to some of my projects. This program is well-designed and structured, and helps put everything into place. I loved that it was comprehensive and covered topics from basic exploratory analysis, network analysis, ML, DL, and recommendation systems. It even touched upon Transformers, which I am now applying to one of my projects.What I found particularly helpful were the tutorials and the hands-on projects. In this program, you need to study and learn by doing. It can be challenging at times, especially if you have a full-time job and a family. But working on the projects was rewarding, and the team is ready to help in case you need more time.Finally, the MIT professors were extremely knowledgeable, clear when explaining complex topics, and kind in answering all the students' questions. The program manager and mentors were supportive and understanding. I highly recommend this program.

 24 Hours, 100 Roles: The Impossible Math of a Woman’s Day Earning a certificate from MIT Professional Education carries serious weight in the tech and business world. It’s a strong signal of my commitment and capability. Courses are taught by renowned MIT professors and researchers, offering insights grounded in cutting-edge research and real-world application. The program emphasizes practical projects, including full-code assignments and real-world case studies. Students praise the mentorship, peer collaboration, and program management. Even those juggling work and family found the structure manageable with weekend dedication. It’s a 12-week program that demands consistent effort. If you’re balancing a full-time job teaching at a higher education institution and parenting (like me), it can be a real stretch on your schedule. I feel like…I did it! I managed all, and I feel good about this. Very time-consuming, but what you can learn compensates for it. I am the vice coordinator of a Master's degree in Data Science for Social Sciences, and I just wanted to learn more to help my students. I did not want to be a data scientist, but I hear all the time that this course opens lots of doors. Yours can be the next!
