I came into the program with some basic HTML knowledge, and what this program really does is it stacks the knowledge on top of each other where you can get to the point of building a static website, a website with functionality, and then building that back end so you can have a database and the website attached to it. The program is very well structured for you to be successful, and they have a very well calendar set up for you to go to events and things that will help you in the long run. This is definitely a challenge. But if you're willing to put in the time to problem solve these complex projects and accept that you're going to go a little crazy figuring out some of these things. Go ahead!

He and his colleagues are invaluable assets to the bootcamp, possessing deep knowledge and providing prompt responses. Juan, in particular, worked diligently with me, helping me to learn, understand, and successfully complete my Software Engineering course.

Coding Temple has taught me the necessary skills to become a software engineer, covering topics ranging from backend to frontend development in depth. The curriculum has introduced me to new, more advanced code writing while enhancing my prior knowledge. Instructors such as Yessica Sosa and Allen Ahmed are calm and informative, ready to answer any questions you have and guide you to the solution.Taking off one star for errors in the specialization sections' lessons, there are missing parts of the code and sometimes incorrect instructions, requiring me to go outside the curriculum for explanations.Overall, small errors in the course do not take away from the knowledge gained and the skills to change your career!

When Daniel left CT, it was a hard time for me because I had grown so used to his guidance. Thankfully, Yessica Sosa stepped in and was incredibly supportive. I'm a full-time college student who somehow does coding on the side. When I first enrolled, I thought I had made some huge mistake. I feel like most people would carefully consider a decision that could change their life. I sure didn't. The first few weeks were difficult for me, but I realize now that was probably mostly self-inflicted. Coding Temple is more than a learning course to complete; it's more like taking a journey on a pathway. It's personal for me, running deeply into every aspect of life. I know I'm a ranter, but just bear with me. Now, it's like I might actually have a chance at learning something I didn't think was possible for me. I can actually code! Seeing my progress, as slow as it is, is more than enough to keep me from giving up. I want to explore the possibility of technology and how it can change my life. I have already come into contact with wonderful people and experiences. What will happen next, I wonder?

This bootcamp was very helpful. My goal was to learn more about programming specifically backend and I now feel much more confident with those skills than I did prior to the bootcamp. I took the backend python specialization and Dylan was super helpful creating videos and hosting live classes that made it much easier to understand the content. The instructors are all very helpful and available to help almost anytime. The curriculum is well laid out and they are constantly evolving the bootcamp experience based off of surveys they offer to students. It is very clear that they want you to succeed and if you are willing to put in the work you will get lots out of it. There is also extensive career search help both during and after you complete the bootcamp.

Overall, this bootcamp has made a great impact on my learning journey. The hands-on projects have helped solidify my understanding of the material. The live sessions are especially valuable and feel like the cherry on top, offering real-time support and clarification that are key to success.What truly makes Coding Temple stand out is the quality of the instructors. I’ve had the opportunity to learn from Yessica Sosa, Daniel Erazo, and Allan Ahmed; all of whom are very professional, well-trained, and capable of breaking down even the most complex topics. Their support and teaching styles have made a real difference.Two areas that could enhance the experience are the use of the Disco platform and the Career Department. Adding more structured content and resources to Disco would make it even more effective for self-paced learning during off hours. Additionally, I feel the Career Department could be improved, as the sessions sometimes feel unproductive and not as focused or impactful as the rest of the program. With a few adjustments, this part of the bootcamp could better match the high standards set by the instructional team.Thank you for providing such a meaningful and challenging learning experience.

 Coding Temple was a life-changing experience. The program is solid, but what made it exceptional was Yessica Sosa. She’s not only a great instructor but also a true mentor who genuinely cares about every student’s success. Her support and encouragement kept me going and helped me grow so much. Highly recommend! 

This is the only SE bootcamp I have experienced, so I cannot compare to others, but overall I had a positive experience with Coding Temple. I did the self paced SE program. While learning the core material Coding Temple made some changes to the structure of the teaching, it felt hard to keep up with the changes for a little while, but it seems like the changes are settled down. Katelyn Mehner was a great resource while learning the core material, ready to help with any question you throw at her. The backend specialization was really well organized and well taught by Dylan Katina. The effort that you put in the program is what you'll get out of it and I think that really applies to the self paced course. Coding Temple has all the material, great instructors, career resources and more, if you put in the effort Coding Temple will help you get the most out of the program.

This Software Engineering Course tested me and challenged me, but I think it was for the better! I am proud of the knowledge that I gained. I believe the course does have room for potential improvement in the way of teaching up-to-date software and principles. But the instructors!! The instructors were A+ from beginning to end! My Course Instructor Christian was the best instructor I could have! All the way to my specialization instructor, Dylan, who challenged us to be proactive, but was always there to pick us up when we fell short!

Overall, I had a great experience with this program and would recommend it to anyone who is motivated and wants a faced paced software engineering program. I would recommend going into this with either a small amount of knowledge in coding and the ability to stay motivated and proactive in your learning. The instructors and staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and wanted us to succeed. I mainly went through this course to learn backend, and the instructor Dylan, was extremely helpful and willing to help whenever I got stuck or needed clarification. I was a bit apprehensive going into a bootcamp as I've heard many mixed views on them ranging from, they suck - go get a degree, to they're awesome - changed my life. I can say, I am in the latter mindset, I'm excited to see where this achievement takes me and now have the tools to face any road blocks that come my way.

 At $9k-$13k, this coding program primarily offers a self-learning roadmap; its content is widely available for free online. The main benefit is instructor access. Consider free resources and networking before investing. 

I recently completed the part-time, online Software Engineering Bootcamp at Coding Temple, specializing in Front End Development, and overall, I had a positive experience.I chose Coding Temple because of its strong reputation, the included career support, and the flexibility it offered—I needed a program that could fit into my busy schedule while I worked full-time. That said, I want to highlight both the high points and the challenges of my journey.
The instructors were phenomenal.  In particular, I can't say enough good things about Allan Ahmed and Daniel Erazo. Daniel was incredibly helpful—even on weekends—consistently answering questions and offering guidance. Allan was my instructor for most of the Core phase, and again during the Frontend Specialization. He truly went above and beyond—often staying past scheduled Zoom sessions to make sure I understood the objectives and that my code was working properly.  As I was finishing my final project, Allan spent over an hour and a half with me, patiently debugging until everything finally worked. He was always quick to offer encouragement and support.
However, the program did have some rough patches. About halfway through, the structure of the course was significantly changed. As a result, the transition at the end of the Core phase felt disorganized. It became unclear who to turn to for help, and at times, it was extremely difficult to get the support I needed.
Despite the challenges, I successfully earned my Software Engineering Certification and developed a strong foundation in fullstack development. I would definitely recommend Coding Temple to others—but with a word of caution: be prepared for a serious time commitment. Balancing a full-time job and the bootcamp was incredibly demanding. Every spare minute outside of work went toward completing assignments and learning.

A lot of people worry about the lines of code in a literal sense when you begin to learn how to code. Coding Temple will course teach you the basics of syntax different languages, but the most important skill to learn, in my opinion, is knowing HOW to approach each problem and breaking it down into manageable chunks. Coding Temple does just that, it will not just teach you how to program, but to think like a programmer as well. Not to even mention the fantastic staff and community!

Coding Temple is a FANTASTIC INSTITUTION for learning technology. Dylan (instructor) was great, and he was there for me all the time. The assignments/projects were indeed challenging, but you actually learn how to code. I have done other boot camps in the past and I didn't learn anything. But with Coding Temple, I actually learned. I encourage Coding Temple for anyone who want to pursue coding.
