Overall, I had a great experience with this program and would recommend it to anyone who is motivated and wants a faced paced software engineering program. I would recommend going into this with either a small amount of knowledge in coding and the ability to stay motivated and proactive in your learning. The instructors and staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and wanted us to succeed. I mainly went through this course to learn backend, and the instructor Dylan, was extremely helpful and willing to help whenever I got stuck or needed clarification. I was a bit apprehensive going into a bootcamp as I've heard many mixed views on them ranging from, they suck - go get a degree, to they're awesome - changed my life. I can say, I am in the latter mindset, I'm excited to see where this achievement takes me and now have the tools to face any road blocks that come my way.

 At $9k-$13k, this coding program primarily offers a self-learning roadmap; its content is widely available for free online. The main benefit is instructor access. Consider free resources and networking before investing. 

I recently completed the part-time, online Software Engineering Bootcamp at Coding Temple, specializing in Front End Development, and overall, I had a positive experience.I chose Coding Temple because of its strong reputation, the included career support, and the flexibility it offered—I needed a program that could fit into my busy schedule while I worked full-time. That said, I want to highlight both the high points and the challenges of my journey.
The instructors were phenomenal.  In particular, I can't say enough good things about Allan Ahmed and Daniel Erazo. Daniel was incredibly helpful—even on weekends—consistently answering questions and offering guidance. Allan was my instructor for most of the Core phase, and again during the Frontend Specialization. He truly went above and beyond—often staying past scheduled Zoom sessions to make sure I understood the objectives and that my code was working properly.  As I was finishing my final project, Allan spent over an hour and a half with me, patiently debugging until everything finally worked. He was always quick to offer encouragement and support.
However, the program did have some rough patches. About halfway through, the structure of the course was significantly changed. As a result, the transition at the end of the Core phase felt disorganized. It became unclear who to turn to for help, and at times, it was extremely difficult to get the support I needed.
Despite the challenges, I successfully earned my Software Engineering Certification and developed a strong foundation in fullstack development. I would definitely recommend Coding Temple to others—but with a word of caution: be prepared for a serious time commitment. Balancing a full-time job and the bootcamp was incredibly demanding. Every spare minute outside of work went toward completing assignments and learning.

A lot of people worry about the lines of code in a literal sense when you begin to learn how to code. Coding Temple will course teach you the basics of syntax different languages, but the most important skill to learn, in my opinion, is knowing HOW to approach each problem and breaking it down into manageable chunks. Coding Temple does just that, it will not just teach you how to program, but to think like a programmer as well. Not to even mention the fantastic staff and community!

Coding Temple is a FANTASTIC INSTITUTION for learning technology. Dylan (instructor) was great, and he was there for me all the time. The assignments/projects were indeed challenging, but you actually learn how to code. I have done other boot camps in the past and I didn't learn anything. But with Coding Temple, I actually learned. I encourage Coding Temple for anyone who want to pursue coding.

Coding Temple was one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences I’ve had. I came in with zero coding knowledge and left confident in building and deploying my own full-stack apps.It definitely wasn’t easy, there were moments that tested my patience and brainpower, but the instructors were always there to support me.Big shoutout to Dylan, who was incredible on the backend side and all throughout the course. He had a knack for instantly spotting what was wrong with my code and never stopped pushing me to improve. And a huge thank you to Allan, who helped me lay a solid foundation and made the basics feel approachable from day one.If you’re willing to put in the work, it absolutely pays off. Coming into this course with only a foundational background in software engineering and computer science from a game development perspective, I was initially unsure whether I would be able to grasp the new concepts and complete the wide range of projects within a clear timeframe. However, I quickly discovered that those doubts were unfounded. The course provided a clear, structured entry point into broader areas of software engineering, supported by an abundance of high-quality content and accessible help sessions.A major highlight for me was the backend software engineering module led by Dylan Katina. His guidance and the depth of the material—especially in areas like SQL and API development—were instrumental in my learning journey. I walked away with skills and completed projects I never imagined I’d be capable of, and I now feel confident in taking the next steps toward networking and working with the career services team to launch my career.

The instructors and support staff truly made this experience exceptional. Dylan and Yessica, in particular, went above and beyond to make sure that even with my hectic and unpredictable schedule, I stayed on track, met my deadlines, and completed the coursework to the best of my ability.When I began, I had zero background in coding languages or application structures. I simply knew I had a passion for technology and believed in the long-term growth of this industry. Thanks to the structure of the program and the incredible support I received, I was able to build a strong foundation with just about an hour a day dedicated to lessons, projects, and troubleshooting.I'm excited to continue building my skills and to start my career in tech.A huge thank you to everyone at Coding Temple for making this possible!

I came into this boot camp already having a degree in Computer Science but having several years since having used my degree. This boot camp was perfect in helping basically build back the basics of my knowledge and expanding on what I already knew. My instructor, for the Back-End Specialization, Dylan was very helpful and kept in consistent communication with any issues that came up. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking at getting into software development as they have a team that wants to see you succeed and will help however they can to see you success.

I joined Coding Temple in November 2024 for the Software Engineering track. I can say without a doubt it was worth every cent. From flexible payment options, to the instructors and constant events. I felt like there was always something going on that I could join and hop into to get involved. Yes the course work is a bit difficult at first but there is more than enough support to reach out for help and guidance and additional teaching and coaching. My only regret is not taking advantage of the resources more due to my busy schedule with a full time job. If I could I would do it all over again and dedicate more time to the taking part in events and trainings. I want to take a moment to shout out specifically David Kidd and Dylan Katina. Both instructors we amazing and a great help. If you do attend coding temple try to get your self in their classes. 

My experience during the bootcamp was great, the instructors were all awesome and I had all the support I needed to complete the course. However, once I graduated, I realized that the course material was hardly relevant to the current job market. I was looking for part-time positions, and of the thousands of positions I reviewed online, not one had prerequisites the bootcamp prepared me for. So I couldn't apply to any jobs, and their money-back guarantee is voided if you don't apply to 10 jobs a week. When I asked to receive further instruction, I was told to ask ChatGPT. Also, apparently the vast majority of Coding Temple graduates who have landed jobs already had a bachelor's or master's degree. So probably just get one of those instead, or try a different bootcamp. Overall, I'm happy with my experience learning the material, but not optimistic anything will come of my time here. Don't recommend it.

This was a great bootcamp and introduction into the realm of software engineering. I had a lot of support from instructors, including them reaching out weekly to just check in and see how I was doing. It was easy to schedule one-on-one time with an instructor and get personalized help. I have learned so much since starting the course and have a better skill set to continue my learning as a software engineer. The best part was the back-end specialization with Dylan Katina. He is a great instructor and I enjoyed the real-world application of everything. I would highly recommend this program to anyone looking to get into Software Engineering!

I had an incredible experience with Coding Temple’s Software Engineering program! As someone new to tech, I learned so much in a short time, building a personal portfolio and a Match Card Game that boosted my front-end skills with JavaScript and CSS. The support staff—especially the instructors and 1-on-1 tutors—were amazing, always going above and beyond with guidance and encouragement, even outside class hours. Highly recommend this program to anyone looking to launch a tech career!

I completed the self paced course in late 2023 and I enjoyed my time learning new skills and working with great instructors and tutors. I felt supported and encouraged during the course and there were tutors readily available to help. Once I completed the course this completely changed. I had to reach out multiple times to get transitioned into the alumni slack and once I was in there it took weeks and multiple forms before I could meet with someone to look over my resume and my LinkedIn. Once I got a meeting schedule the person I worked with was a tremendous help but he told me he was leaving CT at the end of the month and I would not have to fill out another form again and someone on the alumni side would reach out. Weeks went by and nothing happened, again multiple forms and sitting around waiting to hear back. The next person to reach out to me then proceeded to tell me I had to change everything I just spent the last month working on with the previous career employee. I became extremely frustrated and felt abandoned during my post graduate experience and job search and decided to abandon a career in software development because of this. The career side seems understaffed and I couldn’t get consistent help over the span of 6 months, while there were some resources available I felt they were not worth the money I paid and it didn’t match the personalized help I was promised I would receive when we went through orientation. If you’re looking for a bootcamp I recommend to find one that doesn’t collect any payment until a job is secured or else you may find yourself in my situation with empty promises.

My experience with Coding Temple and their Software Engineering course was wonderful. I was new to coding prior to taking this course and I was able to easily understand and implement all the concepts covered. After finishing the back end specialization, I feel confident I have the skills required to find a job using everything I learned at Coding Temple. Dylan Katina was very helpful in teaching me how to troubleshoot errors in my code, as well as putting together very easy to understand course materials.

I had a wonderful experience at this school and learned so much. Great team and great class mates everyone works together and is really helpful. If you’re thinking about this as an option I would take it quick before classes fill. 

What really stood out was the community at Coding Temple. The collaborative environment fostered a sense of camaraderie among students and staff, creating a supportive network that went beyond the classroom.  I have graduated and this is still continuing day in and day out. Once your Alumni they still are just as supportive and about helping you grow as an individual. It’s truly amazing. 

Coding Temple has been a life-changing experience. The program is challenging, but the support system is incredible. With Slack, email, Zoom, and Discord, there was always a way to get help. Screen sharing made it easy to solve complex problems in real-time.The instructors’ availability was truly unmatched. Mr. Peck's patience while teaching backend core concepts made an enormous difference in my learning. Similarly, Ms. Mehner’s dedication to staying after class to dive deeper into frontend concepts ensured I fully understood every detail.My main focus was backend development, and Mr. Katina was instrumental in that journey. His calm demeanor and encouragement replaced my initial anxiety with confidence. He consistently reminded me that I was progressing further than I realized—and he was absolutely right! His ability to break down complex ideas and create a comfortable learning environment was outstanding.The curriculum, hands-on projects, and tech residency simulated a real-world work environment, making the transition from student to professional seamless. Coding Temple not only equipped me with technical skills but also helped me grow personally and professionally.Thank you, Coding Temple, for the guidance, support, and encouragement that have set me up for success as a Software Engineer. I’m grateful for this life-changing experience!

When I first began researching coding bootcamps, I was a little unsure about which one to choose as there are so many of them out there. I ultimately chose Coding Temple because of positive student reviews, career services, and the tech residency program. It was a rigorous, but incredibly rewarding course that has brought me so far ahead from when I first started learning about coding. The classes are well taught, and the instructors truly go out of their way to help the students both by meeting 1 on 1 as well as hosting workshops to teach interview practice tips. Many of the instructors have made a positive impact on me including, but not limited to, Travis, Sarah, Grayson, Daniel, and Yessica. The tech residency program, while intense, it was an incredible experience that taught me about how to build an app with a team and meet deadlines. What I learned during the tech residency could not have been learned without participating in the program. Enrolling in the software engineering bootcamp at Coding Temple was one of the best decisions I ever made! I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to enroll in a coding bootcamp. You will not regret it!

No refund and no job and going on a year. Asked about a refund even though we were certain we would not get it and have not heard back. They should not guarantee something unless they back it up and I will tell you my husband was the top of his class and not one person from his class has a job yet. It's almost a year sinse he finished.
