Before committing to TrueCoders as a bootcamp, I took awhile scouting other bootcamps and speaking with their counselors. I ended up choosing TrueCoders and I am definitely glad I did! They offer an affordable 9-week course for both Full Time Software Engineering or Software Development - as well as flex courses for those who work or have a busy life schedule. I decided to quit my job and go for the 9-week Full Time Software Engineering course. The biggest decision for me was that I did not want to be 'away from the job market' for 6+ months like the other bootcamp courses. I can say that in the end, 9 weeks was enough for me to gain the knowledge I needed to be confident that I am a sprouting Software Engineer! Their courses were very thorough and each module helped me understand how to apply coding along with various options on how to solve exercises. 

I highly recommend TrueCoders for a number of reasons to anyone whether you are changing your career paths or starting one! I initially thought I'd be intimidated taking courses with possible other students/teachers who already had coding knowledge and that I'd be far behind. However, they go through the basics and provided pre-course work to get yourself familiar with the concepts. Our instructor, John, was a C# guru and really knew his stuff, he was also patient, fun, and cool - he always made time for us during class and afterwards to address any of our questions. We also had 3 Teacher's Assistants for a class size of roughly 25. That means PLENTY of one-on-one time during lectures, and afterwards too. 

I did not feel like I ever fell behind from all the help they provided. Students can also schedule 1-on-1's with other teachers too! There is always someone who can help. Every teacher is willing to take his time to answer your questions and provides special care and attention to EACH student! What company does that! 

Every week we also had our Career Services coach, Denise, meet with us to provide much needed guidance on helping us set ourselves up to find that dream job and pass that interview. We need a daily dose of Denise - she's one of the most enthusiastic and charismatic person you'd ever meet! Always leaves your cheeks cramped from smiling/laughing. 

The course curriculum is organized very well and each lesson has great and challenging exercises. The coursework is just right, not too overwhelming nor too light. I didn't feel like I was burning myself out while cramming in a ton of info in a short amount of time. What makes TrueCoders stand out from the rest is their attention to providing one-on-one help to their students. It's not just a lecture and goodbye. Give it a try and be off to the next chapter of your career - you won't be disappointed!

If you're looking to go into the tech field, TrueCoders is the course for you. Starting off, I knew nothing about software developing but in 9 weeks I went from knowing nothing to being a TRUE developer. With the extra help through 1 on 1 training and the training through career services, you will be ready for the tech industry. I recommend TrueCoders to anyone. Read less

Had a great time during my time at Trucoders the teachers were very helpful and knowledgeable. We had a small to medium class size with multiple student teachers so there was always somebody available to help us. Unlimited 1 on 1 time after class is also a nice benefit to have when working through new material. Meetings with career services weekly and she is always available to help or answer any questions you might have.  Read less

This course is amazing for people who are looking to change careers or even just gain more experience in the technical field.  The instructors were extremely supportive and helpful. They make sure to pack as much useful information they can into a 9 week course. The amount of knowledge I am leaving with is astonishing. I would recommend this course to anyone. Read less

As a returning alum to TrueCoders, I highly recommend their Full Stack Web Development course! They offer instructor led learning so you always have someone available to help. Jeremy was my instructor as well as all the TA, Andrea, Amoriss, and Morgan are very kind and patient. I have never exposed myself to coding before the class so its not gonna be easy. But I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. And I believe you will too with all the genuine supports provided, but of course you have to put the work into it. The option to be able to retake the class is a plus especially for me, a mom of a 7 months old and a 4 years old who hasn't start school. 
Oh I almost forgot about Denise, the career services director!! I think she is one of the great value to the TrueCoders. She is one of the most Genuine, caring persons who is sincerely and may hurt u a little enough only for your own sake and waking you up to keep going for your goal. I so appreciate her.
She never fail to bring the positive energy every time she enters the room. She is a MUST MEET person. :D

I highly recommend TrueCoders to anyone looking at coding bootcamps. My biggest piece of advice for future students is that you will only get out what you put into it, so expect to put in study/practice hours outside of class. One of the reasons I chose TrueCoders was because of the shorter timeframe compared to other bootcamps (9 weeks full time), but the biggest disadvantage to that is the speed at which the class moves. Looking back at just a couple of months ago it is crazy how much I have learned, and I thank TrueCoders for pushing me and helping me gain that knowledge! Read less

Came into the course with no prior knowledge of coding and now I have a better understanding of it. TrueCoders also help with mock interviews, LinkedIn, GitHub, and how to build your resume. Instructors answer any questions you may have and also offer 1 on 1 zoom calls for anyone who needs extra help. I took the full-stack software engineering day course and I thought it was great. The only complaint I have is that my class did skip over JavaScript.  Read less

Couldn't have asked for a better introduction to coding. The instructors are incredibly helpful and patient, the curriculum is well-developed, and the career services alone are worth enrolling in the course. Denise will get you where you want to go! 
The price you pay upfront is the only cost associated with the course. As long as you've got a computer, all the programs and websites they use are free. Best money I've ever spent. Read less

it is a very good coding bootcamp at first i didnt think i would be able to pass with zero previous coding experince before but the way they had set up the class and having very good teachers helped me learn and gave me a confindence boost when it came to learning i really appericate this coding bootcamp and its life changing course Read less

I did an enormous amount of research in coding camps. I taught high school for almost 10 years and was looking to make a career change and a friend of mine told me about his experience with TrueCoders. I looked into it and then explored many other options because, if I'm going to leave a career with solid job security, I want to know my chances of success. After about 4 months of research, I decided to take the plunge. I haven't regretted it for a single moment, since. The instructors (I had Jeremy) and the TA's (I had Andrea and Morgan) have been outstanding. As a previous educator, I know what makes or breaks a good teacher and Jeremy fits the bill as a fine educator. The other perks of TrueCoders, such as the career services program, are equally as wonderful. Most other programs don't even offer career services. If you are an established professional in another field seeking a change like I was, then you should rest easy putting your faith in TrueCoders. They will help you get the job done. Read less

Honestly can't find a bigger bang for your buck! This BootCamp was affordable and high quality. One of their most significant selling points for me was their career services, Denise Shines is an incredible career coach. I came into this course with no experience. Through the nine week course I am now comfortable working in C#, SQL, .NET Core, Git, ASP.NET, MVC, HTML, and CSS. The instructors will help individuals as often as needed, so any questions one may have will always be answered.
On top of all of that, Denise with Career Services will give you all the information needed to network, find opportunities, and successfully interview for the job. 
If you have even the slightest inclination to learn computer programming, I would highly recommend TrueCoders.  Read less

I studied here and even as an experienced programmer I learned a lot of great tricks and tips.  This is an excellent C# course for all levels.  Morgan Fullbright, Andrea Schwenk, Phillip Schmidt, and Jeremy Huddleston are excellent instructors and really taught me a lot.  Career services is really excellent as well.  Friends from other bootcamps that are more than triple the price don't have jobs months after graduation.  This school really works with you. I've tried multiple online platforms for learning code and could never stick with it. Having the commitment of being in a class and having the support of the instructors and TAs helped me to finish the course and gain proficiency in multiple languages without feeling particularly stuck at any point (except with debugging, but that's expected haha). As someone who has never done any sort of programming before this course, I can't recommend TrueCoders highly enough. You start from the very beginning alongside everyone, no matter your prior skillset. This was one of the things that initially drew me in to TrueCoders over the other courses I was looking at. The other things that drew me in were: The cost of the course, the amount of time the course takes, the career services, the size of the program, and the amount of hours required in a week.  

TrueCoders costs at least $4,000 less than the other programs I had been considering. They also offer many different kinds of financing options, which was so helpful for me! It made me feel more confident in my ability to take this full time course and spend my time only doing the course and not working. 

The full time courses for TrueCoders are 9 weeks long, which was the shortest amount I had seen among other courses. That definitely drew me in, because I knew it could launch me into a new career that much sooner than somewhere else. And on that note, I am so grateful for the career services department at TrueCoders! Right away on week one you get a lecture with Denise, the head of their career services. Then each week after that there is a set aside time for a lecture with her. You can also easily schedule one on one time with her as much as you want and need and I suggest you do! 

My Web Development class size was about 12 people, which made for a lot more personalized feel. Our instructor knew each of us well and was able to take time to answer our questions without it feeling like we were interrupting the lecture. 

I also really love TrueCoders because of their availability to do one on ones after class hours. I really utilized those and often had more than one meeting a week! If you have a big question that you don't understand and feel like the class is moving to quickly for you, take time to schedule a meeting with your instructor. It helped me fully understand what we were learning on multiple occasions, when I had been stuck in class. 

Finally, one of the top things that made me choose TrueCoders was the time it took out of my week. Class is 6 hours each day with an hour break in the middle and you are expected to study outside of class at least a couple hours on top of that. Compared to the other full time courses I was considering, this was exactly the sweet spot for me. I knew I wouldn't be able to commit more than 50 hours a week total to the course because of my own personal disabilities. Having a course say they expect about 40 hours out of you a week really helped me feel comfortable with the work load. When in the course, I never did spend more than 50 hours a week studying, and I feel that was enough for me to understand the concepts and sit and work through the problems that I needed to study. 

I have loved my time at TrueCoders! I would say my only critique is the way the curriculum is set up for the full time web development course. Because it is a 9 week course, it feels like I have become a jack of all trades and can dabble in so many things, without really delving into one for a long time. We often spent only a couple days on concepts that have an expansive amount of information out there. For me, that was really rough and I do wish that we had spent more than two days on certain subjects. I think that the course would benefit from extending some of their subject matter to help us really get a grasp on certain things and get more practice in. I know that the amount of time this course is definitely drew me in, but I think extending the course to go 3 months in order to really focus more in depth on certain concepts would be helpful for our confidence in moving forward. 

That being said, overall I couldn't recommend TrueCoders enough! It's an amazing course and feels so personalized. I am at home with both my fellow students in the class and with our instructor. I know that taking this course has changed my life and I can't wait to move forward with my new knowledge! Read less

A fantastic company with lots of support and a great curriculum. You will learn so much in only 9 weeks! The teachers are always willing to do whatever it takes to make sure that you are successful. There are lots of opportunities for questions during and after class, one on one appointments, and labs. There is even someone available to answer questions on the weekend! The career services is excellent and provides lots of assistance on preparing your resume, LinkedIn and with mock interviews. This is a great place to start your software engineer career!
