TrueCoders is a full-stack software development Bootcamp that offers an intensive full-time 45-week schedule or a self-paced schedule. The full-time 45-week schedule is a live online course, while the self-paced version allows students the ability to take the course when it is convenient for them. The self-paced schedule is a great option for students who need to retain their full-time jobs but still want a career change. Students of either schedule have the ability to receive unlimited one-on-one support from instructors and career services.
TrueCoders offers 2 different courses: Full-Stack Software Engineering and Full-Stack Web Development. The software engineering course covers C#, .NET Core, the ASP.NET MVC framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, relational databases like SQL, WebKit-based debuggers, and basic working knowledge of networking and file permissions. The web development course covers, Node.JS, Express.JS, React.JS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, relational databases like SQL, hosting web applications using Heroku and GitHub pages, FlexBox design, and Webpack bundling. TrueCoders also specializes in source control and students will receive in-depth instruction on git CLI and GitHub in either class.
TrueCoders aims to provide new coders with the tools needed to find a position in the digital job market including marketable skills, career navigation, and a support community. TrueCoders is meant for career switchers and those with no prior programming experience who wish to enter the tech industry. The application process for both classes begins by scheduling an interview online. A member of their staff will soon follow up with a call.
Before graduation, TrueCoders prepares their students for the job market by improving their resumes, helping them create networking opportunities, and hosting practice interviews. TrueCoders also focuses on communication skills and teaches students how to leverage connections they may have in the tech industry (including fellow students). After graduation, the TrueCoders placement team works with graduates to make introductions, set up interviews, coaching before interviews sending out job applications.

Fantastic Bootcamp!
I took the Full-Stack Software Engineering Day Course, and I am amazed at how much we learned in only 9 weeks. TrueCoders was definitely worth the time and money. I am walking away with the confidence that I can go get a job as a Software Engineer. Worth the time and money!
TrueCoders far surpassed my expectations for what I thought I would learn in the class. I signed up for the full-time 9 week Software Engineering class. I was completely new to software engineering and by the end of my 9 weeks I felt ready to go start applying for jobs. This bootcamp prepares you both for the actual work you will be doing and for the career/job hunt side. Each week their amazing and energetic career services lady, Denise, comes into the class a...TrueCoders far surpassed my expectations for what I thought I would learn in the class. I signed up for the full-time 9 week Software Engineering class. I was completely new to software engineering and by the end of my 9 weeks I felt ready to go start applying for jobs. This bootcamp prepares you both for the actual work you will be doing and for the career/job hunt side. Each week their amazing and energetic career services lady, Denise, comes into the class and goes over how to build a great resume, LinkedIn, and what else you need to do to promote yourself so you can find a job. She also offers one-on-ones to help you as well. You have class from 9-3 CST each day where the teacher lectures over zoom for part of the day and then you work on your assignments/projects with the teacher and TAs around to help answer any questions. They record the lesson so you can rewatch it if necessary. The entire company wants you to succeed. Each week they ask for a review and the president reached out to address my concerns one of the weeks. They are also there for you after graduation to help as needed. To fully succeed and get everything done inside the 9 weeks be prepared to spend extra time outside of class hours. An Excellent Experience
My expectations of a coding bootcamp were far exceeded by TrueCoders. I expected the in-depth web development material to be taught. I was surprised and extremely pleased with the all the extra help. I was concerned about that the course was being taught online. My concern was eliminated immediately. There is much interaction. I also appreciate that the classes are recorded. If you miss something or didn’t understand it the first time, you can access that portion again and again.
In addition to the lead instructor and assistants being super helpful, the entire staff of TrueCoders is interested and invested in your success. Great jumpstart to your coding career
I joined TrueCoders after leaving my job to pursue another one that would be meaningful in the long run. Coming to the program without back-end knowledge was daunting at first, but it soon became enjoyable after digesting information with instructors' lectures, videos, and 1-1 sessions. I also really liked the fact that there were more than one instructor per class ready to answer questions along the way, which made the students feel at ease when wanting to tackle ambiguities.

One area that I believe could be improved is career services. Most of the information given addressed how to "search" for jobs, but they did not address how to "stand out" among other competitors. Examples include how to setup a portfolio to showcase projects, how to build on and strengthen the skills that are desirable to employers (i.e. recommendation of materials/sites that can be utilized after graduation), and what different things can be done if the job application process takes too long. "Bootcamp" is really the right word for it. It was a brutal 9-week period not for the faint of heart. As they tell you when you start, putting in extra time is really how you'll succeed and those that do are who the course is geared for. Everyday was a mental workout that really kept me on a pace I wouldn't have been able to hold myself accountable to had I gone the self-taught route. Ben, our instructor, along with the teacher's assistants were incredibly knowledgeable and committed to ..."Bootcamp" is really the right word for it. It was a brutal 9-week period not for the faint of heart. As they tell you when you start, putting in extra time is really how you'll succeed and those that do are who the course is geared for. Everyday was a mental workout that really kept me on a pace I wouldn't have been able to hold myself accountable to had I gone the self-taught route. Ben, our instructor, along with the teacher's assistants were incredibly knowledgeable and committed to each individual's success. They seem to polymorph with ease as professor, coach, and mental personal trainer. Really glad I made the choice to go with TrueCoders. The bang for your buck is really impressive when considering the ongoing support they offer, job assistance, and an initial network many of us don't have being new to the industry.
Thinking back at when I was reading reviews on this very site, which led me to TrueCoders, there's a few things I would want to know:
First off... It's going to be harder than you think. Period.
It's a rigorous curriculum and a heavy workload no matter how smart or hardworking you are. In a perfect world, the course would be a week or two longer. But in reality, it would probably make it difficult for them to keep it so affordable, and you're probably eyeing TrueCoders for both its competitive price and the shorter time commitment when compared to a 6-month bootcamp. I took a free sample course at Alchemy before starting this course, and it really gave me a leg up. Theirs was particularly great but I would really suggest taking advantage of something in that vein to give you both prep and preview.
Secondly, most people are not going to have a job lined up right after they graduate. This isn't specific to TrueCoders. As you may know, programming is a highly sought after and highly compensated skillset. However, getting your first job may be a slog, so do your research and budget accordingly. At the end of the program, you'll have all the tools you need to build on. Some will want to pursue internships, others entry level developers. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't change a thing. I thoroughly investigated the plethora of coding bootcamps available on the market before deciding TrueCoders was the one for me. From the very first day of class, it was unequivocally clear that I made the right choice. The TrueCoders Full-Stack Web Development program is a robust 9-week intensive course through which I acquired a highly desirable technical skill set, and I had minimal (read: basically zero) prior coding experience. Now I have what it takes to successfully join the work...I thoroughly investigated the plethora of coding bootcamps available on the market before deciding TrueCoders was the one for me. From the very first day of class, it was unequivocally clear that I made the right choice. The TrueCoders Full-Stack Web Development program is a robust 9-week intensive course through which I acquired a highly desirable technical skill set, and I had minimal (read: basically zero) prior coding experience. Now I have what it takes to successfully join the workforce as an IT professional -- and I can do so with confidence, knowing I'll be able to keep up with and make equally valuable contributions as any colleagues who earned four-year degrees in a similar field of study.
In terms of intensity, the Full Stack Web Development course is indeed a bootcamp. It requires commitment and dedication. If you are willing to show up and work hard, you will quickly discover the same joy I found in my own learning process. At the end of your course, you will wonder how 9 weeks seemed to pass by so quickly. Time flies when you are engaged in a beautiful and enriching process of self-improvement!

You will interact with extremely gifted and talented instructors who lead the magic of the classes and patiently guide you through any challenge you might encounter along the way. You will be inspired by the one-of-a-kind director of career services who provides sunshine and encouragement on a daily basis, and you will stand in respectful awe of the brilliant man whose visionary thinking launched the whole remarkable enterprise. You will also learn valuable networking skills as you establish friendships with fellow students that are personally and professionally rewarding.
TrueCoders coding bootcamps, both Web Development and Software Engineering, are the real deal. You will learn front-end (client-side) and back-end (server-side) languages and receive plenty of hands-on training, working with databases, libraries, platforms, and frameworks, as you create your own applications and projects. You will feel genuine elation and a proud sense of accomplishment every time you see the code you've written suddenly come to life on the monitor.
You won't find a better educational opportunity anywhere else. The tuition is competitively priced, there are a variety of financing options, and the elegant curriculum is top-notch. The instructors regularly stayed well beyond the end of class for us, and they were always willing to provide individually-tailored, 1-on-1 instruction. Same with the administrative staff, director of career services, and the President/Owner/C.E.O., too. Whatever you need, all you have to do is ask, and they will go the distance to support you, so that you feel valued and are truly set up for success.

And a huge bonus is that you will have access to these resources F-O-R-E-V-E-R! There was never a time where help wasn't available to me when I needed it. The biggest boon is even after you have compleated the course you are welcome and encouraged to stay on their discord and access to the lesson portal! They have wonderful help with job placement and getting you ready for the application process!
