I graduated with a bachelors degree in Business Administration in 2017. It was very hard for me to find a good administrative job in the business field so I decided to pursue a career as A Quality Assurance Associate  at pharmaceutical warehouse. I have Experience Understanding cGMP documentation requirements. I have experience and knowledge ensuring all documentation conforms torequirements and standards per procedure before issuance of documentation to their prospective departments. Working in this field I decided I wanted a change. A job with better pay, better career growth and opportunities. I was browsing on  Instagram and saw an ad with triple ten for QA Engineering bootcamp. I immediately became interested in joining the program. I have always enjoyed working on computers and learning about new technologies. At Tripleten the chapters and lessons are very informative for the QA Engineering program. Now being on sprint 8  finishing up the program I have a good understanding how of QA Engineering works. QA Engineers test software to catch bugs, and work with software engineers to fix them. I have learned about how to break down   software and document the results. Once I finish the program I am looking to start my career as a QA Engineer. I am excited about this new career transition to  QA engineering, career promotion and looking forward to meeting new people along the way.  Read less

I heard about TripleTen and them got into contact with me after filing out the form to know more about the QA BootCamp. Paolo De Vivo was the one who called me and then sent me an email with some information about the BootCamp.

I replied with simple questions because their Syllabus and what they sent me were too generic and I would like to know a little more about the specifics since other Bootcamps had that part better explained. I was worried because everything seemed extremely superficial and I wanted to know if it was my impression or if it really is superficial. 

So since I didn't receive any news or feedback after these simple questions I contacted their support ( support@tripleten.com ) and after they sent an email saying that one of their representatives would contact me it has been over 5 days from today no one contacted me; Not by phone nor email...so this made me conclude that they are NOT a SERIOUS BootCamp. 

I am leaving this review as an Applicant who was really interested but after some minor questions about their Syllabus, they just disappeared. This tells me a lot about them as a company so be aware of whoever contacts them!

Finding TripleTen was one of the best things that has happened to me in a long, long, long time!!! I felt stuck in my current job. Although I might have been at the top and one of the best, I was not happy with my schedule, salary, or the corporate BS from the fitness industry. This led me to look into something I always dreamed of doing but was always afraid to try due to the time commitment, my personal educational experience, and of course not wanting a mountain of student debt... I knew I wanted to get into coding/tech, but I had no idea where to start or what niche to master. Starting my journey into this industry, I was slightly concerned about my age, experience, and time as I was working full time and starting a side hustle business. Finding TripleTen was the best thing! From the minute I applied, I felt cared for, heard, and as if the plan my advisor was making was for me! Once I began my journey, I was welcomed by the instructors, tutors, and my awesome, amazing success manager Anna!!!
The course material is perfectly laid out, which makes it easy to understand and work side by side in real-time as you are learning! This was amazing for someone like myself who has no prior coding experience. The curriculum is extremely well planned to not overwhelm you, but to push you forward into harder, more challenging tasks, but the instructors make everything fun and realistic! YES, this is a school, but they make it feel more like a real-life externship which is amazing to keep you interested but also to give you confidence for after!!!
Coming to an end with my QA course with TripleTen, I am honestly sad because I have loved and enjoyed every sprint, project, tutor call, Discord chat, and moment in this school! Which was a beautiful change from my prior experience!!!

 My name is Dmitriy, and for the past 7 years I have been working as an automotive locksmith fulltime. Long days at work in cold and in heat had tolls on my health and mental wellbeing. I knew I wanted to and could do more with my life, while also being able to spend time with my family. The only regret I have about joining Triple Ten bootcamp is that I didn’t join it sooner, and only did it after losing my job. The material provided is really engaging and presented in a way that’s very easy to follow and comprehend. They really focus on fundamentals and want to make sure you understand what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. The learning process is organized in sprints, each sprint is 2 weeks long, but you can finish it faster, depending on how many hours a day you spend studying. I made it my goal to become a software engineer in 6 months, so I take my studying as a full time job. I spend on average 8 hours a day, but of course everyone has their own pace, as long as you finish your sprint project by the due date. In 2 months, I feel very confident in my HTML and CSS skills, my JavaScript is solid as well, and I’m just starting to feel the waters of React.  Throughout the sprints, there’s chapters dedicated to career planning. They talk about how to properly set up your social media accounts, GitHub and LinkedIn, to get a job after the bootcamp. They also have biweekly 1on1 meeting with your advisor to discuss your progress and keep you motivated. Their discord channel is an incredible source of information, you can find help there at any point, as well as meet other people at events like monthly hackathons, study buddy program, coffee hour, and co-working sessions that are held regularly. Overall, I feel like this is the best thing that could have happened to me, a community dedicated to help you thrive and also one of the best things I forgot to mention, is the payment plan. There’s an option for any situation out there, I chose the pay-after-hired option, and only payed a small down payment, and would only have to pay after being hired in 6 month or less after graduation, otherwise I receive my down payment back! I began the TripleTen program after being laid off from a dead-end project coordinator job that severely underpaid and overworked me. I've had a lot of experience in business with various industries, but the roles I seemed qualified enough for were always low-pay, high workload positions.  I became tired of this vicious cycle and realized I needed to add more to my skillset if I ever wanted to move up in the working world.  I'd seen ads for various bootcamp programs, but I was highly skeptical. After doing some research, I landed on TripleTen- their current and former students seemed to find the work engaging, but the thing that really stood out to me was their emphasis on their Career Acceleration program.  I've always struggled with job searching, resume building, and interviewing, despite preparation in business school, and the tech field was a whole other animal I did not feel ready to face.  I chose TripleTen because I had a lot of hope that their career coaches would transform my professional self into a desirable commodity, and while I'm not quote finished with the program, I am very close and the tips and advice I've gotten so far have not only gotten me a lot more attention on platforms like LinkedIn, I now better understand where my skills can take me.

As of this review, I do not yet have a job, as I'm still working on my final project, however I will update this review once I do complete Career Acceleration and find a job with TripleTen's help.  Fingers crossed! Read less

I started this course in the beginning of February and so far have had a great experience. I have felt that Tripleten does a great job of supporting their students and creating ways to engage in a community while facilitating a remote, self-paced environment. My success manager is great, helping connect me to the appropriate tutors and information when I've needed it, and I think everything I've learned so far has been extremely practical. Like, very practical. Thankful for that. Learning something is new never comfortable, but the journey so far has been so worth it. I am 5 sprints in, going strong. I also would say that the expectations I received prior to enrolling (time, course structure, etc..) are almost exactly what I experience on a day to day basis which is wonderful. 20 hours a week really will get you a new skillset if you devote the time.  Read less

Let me tell you my story,
I have been a Chef for over 20 years of my life, (37) I started cooking at a very young age. I loved the culture of kitchens, the passion of each person you work with, the complexity of flavors, the art of plating dishes, the complex science that actually happens that most do not know about, and seeing the smile on guests faces when the enjoy the meal you poured hours of yourself into. Being a Chef has been a thrill ride, and I mean that in so many aspects...Thrill ride. The lifestyle is a roller coaster, and most can not ride forever. Being a Chef, I have sacrificed most of my life. Missed weekends, nights, vacations, weddings, gatherings, and even funerals of those I loved. I was riddled with sleepless nights, 3am phone calls about employees that will not be in for their shift, or produce orders that will not be coming with the ingredients you need to keep going the next days. I have spent nights in the emergency room riddled with anxiety, my health has been in and out of bottom line. After you cook for thousands of people I have zero left for myself, which results in ramen or peanut butter and jelly. It is grueling, daunting, demanding work, but for some reason, I love it, and had to keep going back. Well, loved it. Over the years things have changed, both on my side, my passion, my dedications, and my priorities, and on the other end, people have seemed to lose the appreciation they had for what it takes to run a restaurant, and create art from food. I have felt unappreciated as a Chef for some time now. I would never discredit any of what it has brought me in life: adventure, drive, skills, knowledge, friendships, and ownership to name a few, but the best thing it has brought me in life is my beautiful wife. With that came an amazing little child. My priorities shifted significantly, and the small woes of my career blew up. 

A week after I returned from paternity leave, I knew I had to make a change, and that change was being more available to my family, to distance myself from 2am clock outs and 7 day weeks, no more nights or weekends. I have always enjoyed working with computers. From building them, to performing my own systems administration, and optimizing my router settings, and system settings. So I started looking around for IT courses, but what collages offered study when you can, online? I work 45-90 hours a week. Set schedule? I do not even know what that means anymore. Luckily, I had been talking to my wife about it, and Facebook heard my call. I was doom scrolling one night, and TripleTen magically presented itself in my feed. So I set out to google (with all the fake ads I diligently did my research before following a seemingly random link), and once I felt they were legitimate, I clicked.

The home page cuts right to it. Interested in our boot camps? Take this quiz! Seriously, it was everything I needed. I actually was interested in Software engineering to begin with, but I took the quiz anyway. Best decision ever. In less then five minutes I was done, and the results should have been obvious, but at the time I didn't actually know what Quality Assurance Engineering was. Turns out, most know it as Software Testing. Now let me tell you, if you are coming from a world of food, it is the perfect choice. You have more of the skills then you would think. They also stand behind their program with a job placement guarantee. So I signed up.

Their online interactive program is super easy to use, and you do not need to adjust your hardware, just need a computer with internet. Some of the learning can even be done on your phone (not projects or certain modules due to programs, but the text and learning sections). Sign up , and onboarding are super simple. You have someone assigned to assisting you from the moment request a consultation too. Having a currently hectic work, and personal life to work around is no problem either. They do not just put up pre-set materials, and have you watch pre-filmed materials. Once you are onboarded you are assigned a success manager, who is there for you the whole time. They are there to guide you with your questions, and make sure you are asking them in the right places, extend your time on sprints if you need it, and keep you going. I actually feel like my success manager cares about me (which was one of the leadership goals I had set for myself. I want my employees to know I care about their success). The materials are broken down into sprints, which is how the work you will be doing will likely look when you are out in the field. I love the discord community they have built around the platform. Each sprint has a channel, and gets you access to the tutors, and other students. It is well organized, and if I am stuck on something, I do not have to spend precious time searching google. It is truly learn at your own pace, and the materials they put together are engaging, and informative. The career services, although I have not had much time to fully dive in on that part yet, have given me comforting insights about going into a world I have no experience in.

The career program I have made my way through immediately comforted my woes of no experience. As it turns out, being a leader in food service covers beyond the basic "soft skills" for the tech world, and QA engineering. I get to take my passion, scrutiny for detail, clear communication, and problem-solving skills (to name a few) into this new field with me. I immediately realized that I actually have a rock solid resume for getting me going, and the course is teaching me the rest.

I would 100% recommend this program to anyone who is feeling the gut wrenching burn out that I am feeling with my current career. I can already feel it changing my life, and the way I look at my future. Read less

I graduated in April 2024. I wanted to wait to apply for jobs until after I had completed the program. I am in my first few weeks of the Career Acceleration Program (separate program following the bootcamp). So far so good. Even after graduating, I still recommend TripleTen. 
At the beginning I had a hard time choosing which bootcamp to sign up for because I had so little knowledge about all of them. But, TripleTen let me complete an introduction of several bootcamps to get an overview of each one. That really helped me narrow down my options. But, in the end I chose the QA Engineer bootcamp because it was cheaper and shorter in length. And, I felt like it would be a great option for just getting started in the tech world.
I think their financing options and money back guarantee are great.  I’d recommend looking at their website for that information. And, I’d wait until they have their 20% off sale. I’ve seen it happen several times throughout the past 6 months.
One of my biggest challenges was learning some of the coding languages. Since it was a brand new subject to me, then it was hard for me to fully grasp the materials with just a bootcamp. So, I’d recommend taking some free online coding courses (like TripleTen’s free SQL certification course) before jumping into the bootcamp. It’ll give you a heads start with your career, and you can post the certification on your LinkedIn profile.
Another difficult part of the bootcamp was just managing my stress and anxiety. I was able to overcome it by just taking everything one step at a time. And, I would remind myself that TripleTen wanted me to succeed. I always felt that TripleTen was focused on their students’ success. This helped me to slow down and be okay with not being perfect or feeling ready. When working on my projects, I was able to just do my best and work with the feedback I was given until I got it right. 
Since I work in retail, my work schedule is always changing. I always felt too tired after my day of work to study for the bootcamp. So, I dedicated my two days off per week to studying. I was able to complete everything this way. And, I took a “vacation” from work for a week to complete my final project. I definitely recommend creating space in your schedule to dedicate your time to the final project.
Looking back, I still recommend TripleTen’s QA Engineer bootcamp. I still feel confident that I can find a job. And, I would recommend taking a few coding courses before starting the bootcamp. It’ll help you feel more prepared. Read less

I started my journey with TripleTen a couple of months ago, and I must say that I'm very pleased with everything they offer. The study material is highly structured, and the hands-on projects are engaging. Personally, I'd love to highlight the community aspect you experience when enrolling in the bootcamp: the tutors do an amazing job and go beyond to answer your questions, while the success managers really help you to stay on track and provide support.

I'm happy with all the activities that TripleTen offers: career webinars, code jams, coworking sessions, and study buddies. Thanks to all of these, I feel fully immersed in the school. Before, I tried taking self-paced courses, but I always missed the sense of community. I think surrounding yourself with people who share your ideas is very important on a career journey.

In my view, one area for improvement lies in incorporating more screencasts alongside the theoretical content. Occasionally, when there are no video explanations available, navigating through extensive paragraphs can be challenging without visual demonstrations of practical application. Read less

I had been burnt out in my previous career and knew I needed to make a switch to something more sustainable. I’d heard good things about getting into tech through bootcamps and when I started doing my research TripleTen kept coming up in my searches. 
The biggest selling points for me were the fully remote, part-time options, as well as the career support and the job guarantee (this has specific metrics you must hit, but they can all be reviewed on the website and all seem reasonable).
TripleTen has an interactive platform where you complete all of your lessons and projects. During the course, most of your time is spent on this platform or communicating in Discord. The platform was easy to navigate but I did have a learning curve with checking the discord channels for updates. Important communications about sprints or projects are posted in the Discord channels, so be sure to keep yourself up to date with the conversations happening in the announcements channel.
This is an excellent course for those who are self-starters and who know how to schedule their own study time and hold themselves to a timeline. I think if you need an external source to continually keep you on track with projects and studies or you are not one to reach out for support, you might struggle with this format. But for those who don’t need that it’s a great opportunity to learn a lot with the flexibility to work around your schedule. I struggled with the sections working on programming languages so I used supplementary learning tools (which all students are encouraged to do!) for those sections to ensure I was understanding everything correctly. 
Overall the QA course helped me develop a broad skillset that I'm continuing to strengthen as I begin my job search.  Read less

I’m a student in the TripleTen Business Intelligence Analysis bootcamp. I chose this bootcamp because of cost, time commitment, and reviews. It has lived up to its reputation thus far and shown itself to be a good investment. The cost is low compared to similar programs from other companies which was a plus for me as I didn’t have a lot of money to spend on upgrading my skills in order hopefully land a better job in the future. The value you get for the money is certainly worth it. The coursework is challenging but always starts you at the most basic level so no matter your experience level with the material you can understand easily. The sprints are well structured for moving students from beginning level to advanced concepts and the projects are well suited to the material covered so the student gets a lot of practice in the newly acquired skills. The BIA program is new so there are a few things in the sprint materials that could use some improvement such as some minor errors and information that better fits other programs in TripleTen rather than being tailored to the BIA student but these are very small complaints. The student success team is an invaluable resource. The tutors are quick to respond to questions. They are very helpful and patient. My student success manager has been seriously supportive and helpful throughout the process, from getting started to getting one on one tutoring to taking a break from the program (I just had a baby and needed time to adjust before finishing my final project and going on to the career coaching portion of the program). He’s always been reachable and responds within 48 hours of me contacting him. The completion time for this program is 4 months and that estimate was just about right for me. I did need to take two extensions during two different sprints in order to finish the work but those were mostly due to outside influences not insufficient time in the program. The time commitment for me varied between 18-25 hours per week. It truly is a part time program which was a major pro for me as I have been working while completing my bootcamp work. All in all, the program has lived up to what other reviewers have said about it. I hope this review is helpful to someone too.

I decided to start learning more about Business Intelligence Analysis because I wanted to pursue a career that I can continue to learn from and challenge me. I always had a passion for technology especially with computers but I always had job opportunities outside of the realm of Data. Towards the end of 2023, I was in a position to transition smoothly from my current employment into Data and saw Tripleten and its success as a bootcamp. So i decided to reach out start my journey into Data.

 I chose TripleTen simply because they were advertised on a video I watched online. It most definitely seemed intriguing and I continued to research their website and courses they offered. After reviewing what they offered I decided to pursue their Business Intelligence Analytics program. Due to their flexibility, I was able to work around my current scheduled employment and dedicate 10 hours per week to my Tripleten studies. Their Discord channel made it easy to connect with others who faced similar questions that arose during the bootcamp. Their tutors are professional and are exceptional at helping you solve the problems you face throughout the course as well.

Some of the best features of Tripleten were definitely the community and everything that grew from their discord community. I was able to connect with people easily and get answers to my questions almost instantly with those tools. 

Tripleten definitely gave me the confidence to learn something new, especially data and all of the nuances that come with it.  It gave me confidence in finding real world problems through data and understanding why so many problems can be fixed by using data gathered by businesses.

If there is any advice I would give to those starting their journey in Data it would be: Be Patient. I found it important to be patient when learning Data because for most of the things your trying to find when using data analysis, it simply wont jump out to right away and could make one doubt their ability to complete specific tasks when data analyzing. Be patient and go over material through the course and break it down step by step. Don't give up and keep trying to find the answer your looking for.  Hello! If you are reading this, then you are a potential coder of TripleTen software boot camp! Welcome! My name is Erin McCarty. I am a single mother of two children, who are my absolute entire world. I've been a dental assistant for going on now the past ten years. I feel capped in my position with no room for financial growth. Huge problem for me! I'm ready for a change! Right now, my long-term goal is to completely switch career fields. I'm blessed to be able to work as a dental assistant part-time. Since I feel that I am a full-time student at TripleTen. Technically, this is a part-time program all done online. With dedicating 5 hrs a day five days a week gives a total of 20 hours a week. I am currently in the software engineering coding boot camp. TripleTen not only offers software engineering, but other programs as well. TripleTen offers programs in Data Analytics, Data Science, and Quality Assurance. There is a personality quiz that you can take to help place you in the best-suggested program. When I am finished with the program, then I will be considered a Full Stack Web Developer. To be considered a "Full Stack Developer", an individual needs to have knowledge & training in both, front-end and back-end software engineering. The starting salary for this field is 80k with room for financial growth. I do believe, that once a student is fully trained in front-end engineering, they can start to seek a job position in the field. Front-end engineers have a starting salary average of 50k plus. These positions normally include full-time benefits, as well as, job perks. Not bad! TripleTen has a very strong, all-a-round, support program. Especially with their accelerated career program. Any potential student can use an opportunity to join AMA meetings with a career coach to help get questions answered regarding the job search.  In respect of organized time management, it is asked that the team members come to the meeting prepared with questions and topics to discuss. After a student finishes the program, they can take part in the Career Acceleration program. This part of the program specializes in career coaches to help students prepare resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn, and GitHub pages.  This is a time when coaches can specialize with graduates. Career coaches help specialize in guiding successful students to create a strong profile for themselves.  This is to help make themselves shine for potential career opportunities. For example, showing off and documenting newly high-tech skills learned, or projects that were created from complete scratch.  Externships are offered. However, participation in externing starts once the students have completed Sprint 10. There are a total of 15 Sprints that take roughly 2-3 weeks to complete. Don't worry if you need more time. The program is very understanding and generous in regards to extending timelines. The best way to explain Sprint work is like working through modules or chapters. The Sprints help you complete your way through the program. First, you will learn HTML and CSS. Once you are trained with HTML and CSS, then you are considered a "front-end engineer".  Next, you will start learning how to code using Javascript. Which is pretty much-adding functionality to your webpage. For example, clicking on links, opening & closing pop-ups, and creating forms for users to fill out whatever personal information that might be needed. Also, creating & using a save or submit button. At the end of each Sprint, there is a project. Don't worry, the program walks you through it. Usually, your project will start from scratch. Then, the student builds to it during each sprint and adds on to the project at the end of each Sprint. This program has been extremely intense, but yet rewarding at the same time. The platform we use to communicate is called Discord. I like Discord because it gives us a platform to be able to communicate with other students, teachers, tutors, and career coaches. TripleTen coding bootcamp offers what is called "office hours".  Office hours are for when students can join together on a Zoom meeting to discuss their current a like studies.  Office hours are good to attend if you are dealing with similar situations or difficulties that other students are also experiencing. They are also good to attend just for fun to help with learning and understanding. Students can also come together to discuss and collaborate on helping each other get through different individual struggles.  Using Discord as our platform gives us an easy way to share our thoughts, feelings, and frustrations. Students also enjoy sharing new codes to use to help. It is really fun to be able to share new tips and tricks with codes that we are learning along the way. It is great to have a strong community where everyone comes together. Even beginner students try to help newer struggling students get through any roadblocks. It's a great way to network and communicate. Learning to code is a lot like learning a new language. It reminds me of when I learned how to speak Spanish. First, I had to listen to the language over and over again. Hearing the language repetitively and consistently helped a lot with learning to understand. Once I could listen and understand, then I learned how to read and write the language. The last thing I remember learning was verbally speaking the language. It's most definitely constant, endless learning. Even once you are fluent, there are still new things to learn about the language.  Which is a wonderful thing, because it means there is room for constant growth. Personally, learning Spanish has been a lot like coding. It takes lots of practice. Even after years of practicing, I will still be learning new things. This is important for me mentally, because it keeps my mind growing with learning new things. I am currently bored as a dental assistant because there is only so much to learn as an assistant. As well as, financially. So, with this program, I have found the change I needed.  I feel there is endless learning with coding and endless amounts of dollars to be made. Thank you TripleTen for accepting me into this program! I am determined to help find the courage, self-discipline, and perseverance I need to give myself push through and finish the program. I chose to transition my career to the tech world due to the many opportunities it offers and my fascination with computers, data, and the innovations they bring. After extensive research on various bootcamps, I found TripleTen to be an excellent option. Their organized program and strict deadlines provide me with the structure I need for my studies. Balancing work and studies, I dedicate approximately 10 to 15 hours per week to learning. But, sometimes it can get tough, so I if need more time to finish a sprint or a project, they allow it without any excitation. The platform is user-friendly and well-explained, and project organization is both challenging and enjoyable. It’s amazing to see how much I’m learning. The support from the learning team is exceptional - they’re always available to answer questions and make our learning experience easier. We have options to ask questions about the sprint you are on or about the project during the online “office hours” or via the discord channel at any time. They have also, meetings where we talk about how to get a job in the tech world, where they can answer all your questions about it. I have been trying to situate myself in a remote job for a few years. But my main obstacle has always been a low level of experience. I am sure that is why many people decide to join a BootCamp. I looked through a few online and ended up booking a call with TripleTen. Their website was robust and their reviews on Glassdoor were strong. I chose the QA engineering BootCamp (6 months) and I am now approaching the end of the course. I like that we have deadlines and time limits because my issue with learn-at-your-own-pace courses is that there is no consequence for just not doing the work. The success managers they assign to each student make sure you are progressing well and offer useful resources to help with the more difficult sections. The tutors are available nearly every day to help with problems in the coursework or even bugs that may arise for some users. The course has even been altered to fix certain things from the students' suggestions (ex. wording or unclear explanations). I look forward to diving into the career prep part of the program and hope to secure a job within the next few months. TripleTen backs you up with a strong team to bolster your resume, LinkedIn, and interview skills to make sure you land the job. They also provide an opportunity for externship programs after course completion to get some real-world work experience. I am currently enrolled in TripleTen's Business Intelligence (BI) Analytics bootcamp. I wanted to get more insight in the Data Analysis field, so I decided to join TripleTen. I am finding this program very valuable for coding and analysis because material is industry related and organized. It is self-paced bootcamp which allows me to focus on other stuff concurrently. Platform does suggest completion dates to keep students on track. The projects and assessments are great to evaluate learned skills. Besides interactive platform, TripleTen offers help from reviewers and tutors at flexible hours to ease learning process. Tutors and reviewers create a team environment similar to a company. There are weekend workshops to grasp new concepts as well. TripleTen’s externship program is a good asset toward getting a job in the industry. I'm currently enrolled in TripleTen's software engineering bootcamp and I have no complaints.  So, to start from the beginning I decided to start learning Software Engineering for a few reasons.  I originally graduated from SUNY Oneonta which is a New York State University and got my bachelors in Business Administration.  After graduating with this degree I started looking for jobs.  I applied on LinkedIn, on company websites, and reached out to friends but in the end after months and months of searching I got no replies to jobs I wanted.  The only jobs that would answer me were door to door sales jobs but being the quiet person I am, that was not for me at all.  So I then started to work at my neighbor's construction company and after working there for a few months of long hours and 60+ hour weeks I decided I needed a change.
 I began researching for new careers that I found appealing.  I had many different thoughts on potential careers and at the end the career that made the most sense for me was software engineering.  The reason software engineering was my top pick was because of how flexible some software engineering jobs can be.  Also, when I came across it I found it to be kind of like a puzzle and I’ve always been a big fan of puzzles whether it is playing sudoku or solving a Rubik's cube.  
After researching different ways on which I can potentially become a software engineer.  I stumbled across bootcamps and after examining many thoroughly I found TripleTen.  What stood out to me with TripleTen was how they provide externships and the reviews were outstanding.  The fact that TripleTen provides externships alone is a key factor as to why I decided to join.  Every other boot camp I found didn’t offer anything close to it.
While enrolled in TripleTen and working pretty much a full-time job sometimes it can be challenging to balance it all when working on a hard project.  However, once you get in the groove of things it isn’t too bad.  What I like to do during weekdays after work is to try to get in two to three hours of studying or just something related to what I am learning at the time, whether it is a side project, researching, or watching youtube videos.  Then on weekends or if I am off from work I like to spend upwards of four hours studying or working on a project.  What I found works for days when I am going to be coding for a while is I like to take breaks and do something productive after maybe an hour of studying like go for a walk, cook something, or workout.    In total I like to try to aim for 15-20 hours of studying per week.  Also, the good thing about TripleTen is the fact that if you are falling behind for any reason they allow you to take time off of the course.  I have taken a couple breaks off of the course.  One was for a vacation and another was to work on some projects on the side and look back at what I have learned in the previous lesson.  
I think TripleTen has many features that greatly benefit its students.  For example, the tutors, the discord, the success managers, code review, and the projects.  The tutors are great as you can schedule biweekly tutoring sessions to either help with projects or with any material you are struggling with and let me tell you they are way more helpful than I would’ve thought.  Some tutors also hold office hours which is a scheduled time per week when anyone can join and pop in and out to ask questions.  They also have these like 1-5 times a day on average which is amazing.  Also, the discord is a great help.  Sometimes when I am working on a project I have trouble with some of the work and I send in anyone's questions in discord and either a tutor will answer or a student will answer pretty quickly.  The discord is also good for just chatting about anything with other students.  If you join TripleTen you will also be assigned a success manager who helps keep you on pace with the work assigned.  They are the person who you go to if you need to request an extension or a break and it really helps to make the learning experience smoother having all these sources or help.  The code reviewers have helped me on every project.  Once you submit your project the code reviewers will make notes in your code for areas to improve or areas that need to be changed which is a huge help.  Lastly, the projects are a great time.  When working on the projects it is the coolest experience seeing yourself build entire websites that you would;ve never thought you would be able to do.  I believe that TripleTen has helped a huge amount with my goals of becoming a software engineer with these features.  They even offer career help where they guide you on how to build your LinkedIn and how to basically reach out for jobs and eventually how to take an interview to land those jobs.
Some tips I would give to someone who is new and just starting their coding journey I would definitely make sure that it is something that you can see yourself doing.  For people that want to take this path I would definitely recommend the TripleTens software engineer course.  I have been very surprised with all that the bootcamp offers, especially at its cheap price.  Before purchasing the course I would first recommend that you talk to someone on the phone about the course to get a better understanding before fully committing to it.

I enrolled in Tripleten with little to no knowledge or enough time to commit to starting a journey in an industry that was new to me. Fortunately, the staff is really down to earth and attentive. Everything from material, projects, and communication is seamless and well organized, all you have to do is put in the time to learn. There is a lot of support for you to accomplish all the goals they put in front of you as not only do you get a personal "success" mentor to ensure you are finding strategies to move forward, but also a discord server to speak with mentors, graduates, career development and other peers going through the program with you, which makes it easy to stay engage and motivated. 
All the information you need to complete projects is accessible and presented with a lot of care, digestible, and charming tone. 
although the material was all new and daunting to me. The way new information was presented through each stage of the bootcamp made it much more approachable. You get to work at your own pace and have the resources to work at a fast pace. There is always help, from tutor hours, where you can have a one-on-one with someone to go over the material further, and also the discord server where you can ask anyone from tutors, grads, or peers to help you at any moment throughout the day. Always got a response for any issue I had with the project or in general within 5 to 10 minutes max.
Best part of it all is the support given after you have a concrete understanding of the profession, tools, and essential skills, they offered the opportunity to start a career acceleration program,  where you can have hands-on experience with one of the companies they are associated with.
 Enrolling in any bootcamp can be daunting, There is a lot to learn, and a lot to do, but Tripleten has made it a much well-grounded and enjoyable experience. Read less

I signed up for TripleTen because I wanted to leave the healthcare field and get into something more remote and more fulfilling for my personal growth. After a significant time weighing my options, I chose TripleTen. I found their course engaging and well-structured. I think that they really spell things out for you without holding your hand through it. It is only for the self-driven but I still think that they are forgiving with their due dates and allow you to take some time off if you need it.
