Like many here, I started learning QA engineering to change my career path.
I chose TripleTen because it's the only bootcamp with its platform, developed by authors who are active QA engineers, editors, designers, and career consultants. This isn't just recorded webinars offered by other bootcamps. I especially liked this because I absorb information better in text than audibly, as my English level isn't high enough to catch everything on the fly.
Like many here, I started learning QA engineering to change my career path.
I chose TripleTen because it's the only bootcamp with its platform, developed by authors who are active QA engineers, editors, designers, and career consultants. This isn't just recorded webinars offered by other bootcamps. I especially liked this because I absorb information better in text than audibly, as my English level isn't high enough to catch everything on the fly.
Moreover, I was attracted by their promise to refund the tuition if I didn't find a job within six months after the training. This sounded confident from their side, so I realized that the primary goal of this bootcamp was to prepare me for a QA engineer position.
Another advantage over other schools is the flexible payment system for the course. I couldn't afford to pay a couple of thousand dollars a month like other bootcamps demanded, unlike TripleTen, where I could take a two-year installment plan.
As I expected, TripleTen pleased me with its interactive learning platform. The course is based on long text readings with interactive theoretical tasks for each topic. The main focus is on project activities. Projects are the final assignments for each sprint, resembling what QA engineer tasks look like in real work. Of course, this is very nice, as more practice means more chances to be successful professionally.
Additionally, there is an opportunity to communicate with teachers in any form - voice in Discord or via correspondence (I chose the latter, as I'm not very confident speaking English). The teachers seemed to me to be professionals in their field. I corresponded frequently with Aleksandr Sokolov. Many thanks to him for his involvement and willingness to help. Other teachers helped more with projects (there are recorded videos for each project).
I am working on the seventh project (out of a total of nine), 'Introduction to JavaScript,' it's very challenging for me, but I'm confident I can handle it, as the reviewer helps me. He provides detailed feedback on each project iteration so I can know precisely where my mistake is.

If you’ve been doing your research, you already know that TripleTen has an online learning platform with coding practice built into the lessons, real-world project experience, and material that is organized into two-week ‘sprints.’ But does it work? Yes! TripleTen allows you to work through the material completely part time and at your own pace. There are no unnecessary deadlines or class lectures to attend. What sold me on TripleTen, were the 16 real-world projects. With each project, you are given a data set and a loose set of guidelines for the task. It is up to you to load the dataset, work through the problem, and write a final report. These projects mimic real-world scenarios and interview questions. On top of that, TripleTen is one of the most affordable bootcamps on the market. During career prep, career coaches review your LinkedIn, resume, and cover letter and offer feedback to make your documents stand out. Then in Career Acceleration you meet with a coach weekly to guide your job search strategy, keep you accountable in the application process, and practice interviews. One thing reviews don’t mention, is the lovely community created on Discord, with tutors, community guides, and peers. I expected a data science education, but I didn’t expect to walk away with a community of friends and support systems. This program was challenging, but it was also very rewarding. I was successful in the data science program partially because of a background in statistics and coding. While surely anyone can do DS, some background in coding or statistics is useful. If you don’t have a background in either, consider an introductory course or two to make sure this path is the right one for you. Achieving, challenging, informational

An informative self-paced boot-camp!
I started TripleTen because I wanted to learn to do something that I could both enjoy and make work with my hearing loss. Their Quality Assurance Engineering program seemed like it would be a great opportunity for me. Not only do I enjoy learning the different methods for finding bugs and reporting them, but a good portion of the lessons tied into my previous experience as a graphic designer.
I found that the TripleTen program also worked well around my day job, and with the limit...I started TripleTen because I wanted to learn to do something that I could both enjoy and make work with my hearing loss. Their Quality Assurance Engineering program seemed like it would be a great opportunity for me. Not only do I enjoy learning the different methods for finding bugs and reporting them, but a good portion of the lessons tied into my previous experience as a graphic designer.
I found that the TripleTen program also worked well around my day job, and with the limitations I have with my hearing loss. All the lessons are online which made it easy for me to do the reading portions on my lunch breaks and the practice portions when I was at home. Also, many of the sprints and their projects have video tutorials that go with them, as well as a dedicated section on the TripleTen Discord where I was able to ask questions and receive feed back when I needed help. The majority of the videos even let me turn the captions on (again a big deal for me). When I asked a question I was able to receive feedback reasonably quickly, and I never felt as if my questions were unreasonable, even on the occasion where I found the answer on my own within fifteen minutes of asking it in the Discord.
It's a very self-paced program, and I tend to be super motivated when I'm learning things, so I think I was actually able to finish the course several weeks faster than anticipated. I feel like they give you plenty of time to get things done even while working around every day life and a full time job.
I will also say that TripleTen is very good about asking for feedback on each section and working to improve their lessons to provide a great experience. I struggles a bit with the JavaScript portion because it was entirely new to me, and I do feel there's room for improvement in how some of that material is presented, but I also feel like my voice was heard when I offered feedback.
My Community Manager also was amazing. She checked in on me regularly, sent me tutorial links when I couldn't find them, helped me work out a problem I had when trying to link my project so the reviewer could see it, and even gave me extra time on one of my project when I had a family emergency.
The reviewers also gave concise, but clear feedback. I could usually tell exactly what they suggested I needed to work on or correct, and the submission and feedback process for each project was very straightforward with clear instructions. It's normal to take two rounds to get a project passed so please don't feel discouraged if you don't get a project on your first try!

Great way to learn & break into the world of technology
The reason why I decided to learn about Data Science/Data Analytics is because I knew that analytical skills with data, finance, or even business are strong skills to develop in an individuals career. I chose TripleTen because of the realistic length of the bootcamp(almost a full year is a good length of time to get a good grip on a tough subject like data science) , and the way their curriculum is set up. You first read the material, & do a couple practice problems. Once you are complete, at the end of the sprint you create a project to show off your skills. That was a big deal for me! I love how I was able to showcase my skills & then post them onto my GitHub. I still use all the TripleTen material today. It is an interactive platform & it is AMAZING they give you LIFE access to the content you paid for. The curriculum & platform is always being updated, so there is something always pulling you back to TripleTen, which is a huge green flag for a bootcamp. I am now obtaining a MS in Information Systems & Technology, so TripleTen has helped me build a foundation of skills which has made my transition into my masters program easier & less stressful.
I recommend TripleTen to anyone that is interested in coding. They help all their students if they are stuck, & give you extension weeks just in case life gets busy! For those who are just getting started, coding takes time to understand, so be kind to yourself. Coding as a skill is a JOURNEY which will need continual education & practice even after the program. I'm still a student at TripleTen, and I've gone through 9 of the 16 total sprints so far. From the very first one, the information was presented in a clear and effective manner. The theory is comprehensive without being overwhelming, and the exercises are great reinforcement of each of the theory segments. The projects at the end of each sprint are direct applications of the information presented in the chapter, with just enough challenge to push your skills and solidify your learning. The tutors are very knowledgeable; they're always willing to help, and explain ideas beyond the scope of projects or sprints.

Strong, Challenging, Community

I wanted it to be a strong bootcamp, with flexible hours. I work a full time job, and many other commitments, so finding something that was flexible was one of my top priorities. Great Learning Program

Excellent Bootcamp
I joined Practicum Software Engineer bootcamp with the sole purpose of learning end to end web development. I know that I can easily create a website following some youtube tutorials. But such websites are not professionally implemented, and are very difficult to maintain. For instance while styling websites, we should follow a methodology like BEM to create well maintainable websites. Practicum has the state of the art methodologies to implement real websites for businesses. I tried Practicum's free code camp (the first module), and was impressed that they have an excellent program that could help me to create professional websites. After my free trial, I immediately switched to the paid program, and I am quite satisfied with my decision. If you are serious about developing professional websites, please do not waste your time in following youtube tutorials or some freely available bootcamps. Unless you do hands-on work and get the feedback on your work, you are not on the right path to success. Practicum's curriculum has the right balance of theory and practice. In each sprint you will be given some study material with exercises, and you will also work on a project, which will be professionally evaluated. The project work in each sprint will reinforce your learnings. Consider Practicum if you have these goals and traits: 1. You want to develop professional websites 2. The program does not have video lessons (or have very limited videos). You should be comfortable in studying the text material rendered via practicum website. 3. Practicum Bootcamp was exactly that - you complete the lessons on your own time, but they have built-in live support and deadlines to keep you on track. The lessons included tasks where you practice and learn to apply the code to business scenarios, and you have to complete them correctly to proceed. The tutors were always responsive, and they also held regular office hours to provide real-time support. These projects are reviewed by coders, so you get individualized feedback and pass the project back and forth until it is approved. Each sprint built on the one before, so you continue to practice basic coding skills (ex. data preprocessing and exploratory data analysis), as they add on more advanced topics. Finally, the tutors hold regular live workshops to review the topics in the lessons. These are optional but they are a chance to get some extra support on projects and learn some additional resources around the topics covered in the lessons. It is also important to note the Slack community here, where you can get assistance or also help other students when they are stuck and get advice from the tutors or managers of the program.
As you know, the IT sector is one of the fastest growing sectors of the global economy. And one cannot do without knowledge of data analysis in modern business. I have not yet completed the course, as I combine work with study, but I have already noticed progress in the date of analysis.
