I am a working professional with 2 years experience post grad. I have some experience in data. This program is wonderful for all walks of life. I find myself learning something new every week despite having some experience in Data Science. This program really helped refine my coding skills. I like that the projects we do can be used as both a learning tool and a way to show off skills on LinkedIn. I think the program could work on helping students transition from student to AI Analyst a bit more. I think more guidance would be helpful. Overall a good program!  Read less

I had the privilege of enrolling in the PGP in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning – Business Applications program in collaboration with UTA. This program has been a transformative experience, equipping me with cutting-edge knowledge in AI and ML, tailored specifically for business applications.The curriculum is well-structured, covering essential topics such as deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and advanced analytics. This program is a great kickstart for people in AI/ML.
The program starts with basic Python and proceeds to building regression models for predictions. This provides a good anchor to people into AI/ML world. Subsequently various models are taught for machine learning with Neural Networks.
The curriculum has short videos and small tests, which is very convenient for people taking time out of their day job for the learning.
Also there are projects to work every ~2 weeks, which is a great way to reinforce the learnings with a practical exercise. 
I have enjoyed the learning so far and would be venturing into the aligned job search.

Nice coverage of the curriculum and we'll spread out over couple of months. The video sessions, tests and the projects are nicely designed to cover the topics to be learned in the course chapters. The post project sessions also help with the proper understanding of the results and ways to improve the understanding of the concepts. The course co-ordinators are very responsive and immediately catering to any queries or doubts. Read less

I attended the GL McCoombs Scool of Business data analytics and business information post grad. It was excellent except for one extremely disorganized instructor from Stanford. I graduated top 10 but have had zero support or constructive help since. I enrolled in a follow up program only run by GL and hve had THE WORST experience. Disorganized and unprofessional Contact by program managers, ghosted on my start date by my program manager and my platform not opened in my cohort as a result. Multiple call no shows and avoidance of recorded calls through teams. I postponed until January and yet they would not postpone payment despite it all being their error. Total scam. I am now challenging enrollment, have formally withdrawn but they still will not contact me appropriately. Overall my feeling is these bootcamps are a huge money grab. Only attend ones associated with a university DO NOT fall for the scammy follow up discounted offers NOT part of anything but GL Read less

I was really excited about the UX/UI Bootcamp at the University of Texas Austin. I thought a bootcamp hosted by such a prestigious college for nearly $13,000 was sure to be a great decision. Early on, however, I was extremely disappointed. They chose a teacher who clearly did not have any background or experience in the world of teaching. You would think an education institution would understand that just because someone is highly skilled in an industry, does not mean they are a good teacher. While presenting, the teacher would pause and take a moment to read the slides revealing that they never did any preparation for the class whatsoever. There were many times that I would learn crucial information weeks (sometimes months!) after completing various projects resulting in having to re-do some of my portfolio pieces--the main marketing attraction for the bootcamp overall. I tried reaching out to admin about my concerns, yet there was no response for weeks on end. Not only was the teaching aspect utterly lacking, but the lack of professionalism was a complete shock. There were multiple times (about 3 or 4) where the instructor said the R word during live/recorded sessions. I'm appalled. I was so excited to learn about something that genuinely intrigued me. Unfortunately, this program is not taken seriously by the instructors or the admin. If you are serious about the world of UX and UI, look elsewhere.  Read less
