The University of Texas at Austin Bootcamps by QuickStart

I attended the Jan. '24 cohort of UT Austin's AIML program.  I did not know how to code in Python prior to starting.  Initially I thought the coursework would be conceptual in nature, but the curriculum walks you through real examples of what developers would need to do to fulfill a customer request and ensures your are comfortable coding.  I now know more about the different facets of AI, the fact that AI can be used as a valuable tool in everyday business processes and can develop code with little to no issues.  The course also comes with resume examples if you are trying to transition into a career in Data Science or AI.  You will have a mentor assigned to you to ensure you stay on track to answer any questions.  I highly recommend this boot camp based on the value received, the instructors and mentors, and the reasonable price point compared to other programs.

I recently completed the Post-Graduate Certificate in AI & Machine Learning Applications in Business at UT, and it has been a rewarding experience. As a physician with no computer science background, I aimed to learn how AI could be applied to optimize patient care and reduce burnout. The course was more challenging and in-depth than expected, but it provided a solid foundation for making informed decisions in healthcare.

Special thanks to my advisor, Surya Parashar, who was always available to assist and accommodate my schedule during busy weeks. I also benefited from networking with a cohort member from Boston who helped with one of my projects.

I highly recommend this program to anyone seeking a deep dive into AI, regardless of their background.

Both of them are exceptional courses with very professional program managers, mentors and course materials. 
The courses provide a deep understanding of the AI techniques in Python and extensive hand on experience. The program manager was very supportive and guided us the entire way by providing immediate assistance to any small problem that we may encounter. At the end I felt like I had worked in a real life industry for a year. Glad to have selected these courses.

I learned more in the last 18 weeks then I would say I learned my entire 3 years at my university. Daniel was an incredible professor that was extremely knowledgeable on the subject. He was patient and very engaging, creating an environment I felt safe to ask questions and communicate with my class. I was able to gain the confidence to give a pitch and was successful on landing my first Digital Marketing job before the class had even ended. I am so grateful for my classmates and time in this bootcamp. I will recommend this course and Daniel to many people! 

In my experience so far, this program is amazing. The content and the structure of the course is properly created to help anyone with beginner or expert knowledge to feel like they are learning and that they are succeeding. I did not know where to start with learning about computer programming to use it for hands-on experience and this course was able to fulfill my desire to learn at a good pace. 

The pace of learning is super important for me because I struggle with some learning challenges. The program manager Sakshi Sharma worked with me on my schedule every week so I had enough time to absorb the information and keep up with the rest of the students in the program. Anytime I had an issue or needed assistance, I would reach out to Sakshi and she would be very responsive in a timely manner. It was great to work with her because she was patient and took the time to understand my needs. 

My mentor Niruppam was really good because he had a deep knowledge with these materials and took the time to explain the background of everything so it was helpful when it came to using this knowledge for the hands-on learning materials and projects. He would encourage the students to participate during the lectures and would make sure to answer everyone's questions to clear any confusion.

I just completed the Post-Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, held jointly by The University of Texas, Austin, and Great Learning. 

Each of the Faculty is state-of-the-art, highly credentialed, almost wizardly in technical and professional excellence,  and the very best in class. 

Similarly, each of the weekend class facilitators, is absolutely hands-on, most carefully hand-picked/chosen, based on the course, and each is a to-go, hands-on expert, from one or the other of the very best clients, in this upcoming, niche, state-of-the-art discipline, and has very deep experience and knowledge, which he or she readily brings forth and shares to the class, in a highly open and interactive manner. 

Similarly, the Program officials are tireless, dedicated and expert facilitators, who will go every extra-mile, as needed, with any issue or requirement fulfillment, forthwith, and without fail. 

The course design and curriculum are best in class and covers AI&ML comprehensively, giving a very deep dive and hands-on, which boosts participants’ self-confidence, even as they go through the program, in perpetual kaizen mode, each day.

It covers Python Foundations, foundational Statistics and prerequisites, before offering a hands-on deep dive in Machine Learning, Advanced Machine Learning, Introduction to Computer Vision, Introduction to Natural Language Processing, and Introduction to Neural Networks, with a high code or low code option to complete assignments, based on individual appetite.

This is the most state-of-the-art and sophisticated, online programs, I have ever attended in my life. It is absolutely rock-solid, true value end-to-end, and of truly great, future applicability, in up-skilling.

I recently had the privilege of participating in the Product Management Bootcamp, and I am compelled to share my overwhelmingly positive experience. This program has been nothing short of transformative, equipping me with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to excel in the dynamic field of product management.
From day one, the curriculum was meticulously designed, covering a comprehensive range of topics crucial to effective product management. The instructors were seasoned industry professionals, providing invaluable insights and real-world examples that brought the concepts to life. The hands-on exercises and case studies were particularly enlightening, allowing me to apply theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios.

The intriguing part about the UT coding camp was their confidence that they will near guarantee that land you a full stack development job after taking this course. Turns out they just have a decent sales and marketing team. In reality, the course is a chaotic and jam packed zoom call that fails to stay up to date with the current economic state within the world of technology. 
As someone with little to no tech background besides a stint in tech sales,  I knew that this would be a challenging quest and that patience would also have to be practiced when applying and searching for full stack development jobs. Yet, the entirety of the class was expecting to be fully employed within 30-90 days of completing the course, especially the classmates who had previously been in tech project management and other facets of web design/programming. As of this review, 5 months after the completion of this course, only 3/30+ classmates have successfully entered the web developing industry. 
While the tech world around was adapting to AI and it's impact on the tech world, UT's bootcamp instructors were claiming it'd barely have an impact, while Tech leaders were claiming half of programming jobs will be replaced in 5 years with AI. 
Also, I completed 5 of the final activities just using chatGPT and redid my initial entires as a test to see how well chatGPT could instruct and help create/build a basis of understanding for what was being programmed. This was completed in 3 days. Literally everything that the course claims to teach you can literally be learned in less than a weak from ChatGPT. 

INDIA CHEATS. Please check the company where it is based? - INDIA and the offices in singapore. Worst learning site. Do not ever register. Worst support. if you have any problem, you have to be awake all night to get support from india site. Once they get the money from you, they do not respond properly.

All the portal - is nothing but a show. Materials are all outdated. Lab exercise wont work correctly.

The Great learning portal is horrible. they post videos on the site and even if you complete it, it would says "No completed" got tired of complaining to the program executive. And they reply back saying "you have to be proactive as you have watched only 54.7% of videos. How dare they lie. They have a bugg software and the metrics they compute is based on this buggy software. ALl the materials are old. Full of cheats. I agree with others who had given a bad review. Not even worth 1 star. All the 5 star reviews are fake and cannot be trusted. PLEASE STAY AWAY from this learning site please.

I have a filed a complaint with the Attorney general office. I would request everyone to file a complaint with the AG office in your state.

A great journey - learning in a hands-on manner various AI/ML concepts. Fantastic cohort that the team at great learning was able to match me with so I can learn from my peers while I also get the best curriculum, instructors and practical application of the concepts I'm learning. The program coordinators and staff are very professional and help us have a smooth learning experience. I am a working professional with 2 years experience post grad. I have some experience in data. This program is wonderful for all walks of life. I find myself learning something new every week despite having some experience in Data Science. This program really helped refine my coding skills. I like that the projects we do can be used as both a learning tool and a way to show off skills on LinkedIn. I think the program could work on helping students transition from student to AI Analyst a bit more. I think more guidance would be helpful. Overall a good program!
