This was the response that we received when we contacted Simplilearna about this:
"Please be informed that Simplilearns’ Salesforce training enables participants to pass two Salesforce certification exams. We are not the governing body or authorizing entity for the official certification of Salesforce. Our certification cannot be considered as an official certificate, our course is always a supplementary course to gain information and knowledge about the topic."
Save you money and instead sign up to Salesforce trailhead, complete the FREE training courses and pay $200 to obtain an actual Salesforce certification.
Aside from the fact that the above is in no way made clear by Simplilearn, the content also hasn't been updated since 2014, with the entire course contents in the now mostly unused Classic interface. AND because the content is so old, a large amount of the information and exam answers are now incorrect!
