I was part of the Scaler Academy Aug 2020 – 2022 batch, and my experience was overall very positive. Scaler truly helped me grow as a software engineer with its structured curriculum and strong guidance.

Faculty – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The faculty is outstanding. Instructors explain concepts deeply, make tough topics easy, and motivate you to level up. Mentorship was one of the best parts of the program.

Placement – ⭐⭐⭐
Placements were decent. Opportunities are definitely provided, but final results depend a lot on individual effort and background. Still, Scaler gives good exposure to many companies.

Upskilling – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
For improving DSA, system design, and overall problem-solving, Scaler is excellent. My logical thinking and coding confidence improved a lot during the program.

Fee – ⭐⭐
The only area where I feel Scaler should improve is the fee amount. The program quality is great, but a slightly lower fee or more flexible payment options would make it accessible to many more students.

Final Verdict
As a student of the 2020–2022 batch, I can confidently say Scaler is a great platform for serious learners. Amazing teaching, strong community, and real upskilling. With a small reduction in fees, it would be perfect.

My journey with Scaler Academy has been truly transformative. Scaler is excellent in terms of learning and education in the fields of Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, and AI/ML. I joined Scaler’s Data Science course a few months back, and it turned out to be a very structured and impactful program. The course was extremely detailed and covered the fundamentals as well as advanced aspects of data structures in ScalerThe curriculum was thoughtfully designed and structured in a way that made complex concepts easier to understand step by step.One of the highlights of the course was the strong support system from the teaching assistants (TAs). They were very responsive, well-prepared, and always ready to help students whenever doubts arose. Their guidance made it much easier to navigate 

I’m writing this after completing the course. Coming from a different field, I wanted to strengthen my technical foundation and transition into a software development role, and the program helped me achieve exactly that.

Pros:
The curriculum is well-structured and thoughtfully designed. The instructors are highly knowledgeable and bring real industry experience, explaining concepts in depth and with clarity. I really liked the practice question feature after each topic whether it was DSA, System Design, or SQL since software development is as much about implementation as learning concepts, it truly helps in understanding them better. The mock interviews were especially valuable, as they were conducted by professionals currently working in top tech companies, and their feedback was incredibly useful for real interviews. Scaler also provides dedicated mentorship, which helps in understanding current market requirements and refining your resume so it stands out and gets shortlisted.

Cons:
For me, the only drawback was the course fee, which felt a bit high at first. But honestly, it didn’t matter once I achieved what I was aiming for it was completely worth it in the end.

Conclusion:
Join only if you’re ready to give it your full effort since it’s a significant investment, your dedication is what truly makes it worthwhile. The outcome completely depends on your consistency and hard work, but if you stay committed, it can truly be a career-changing experience.

I joined Scaler in 2022 in DS Module. I was already into software engineering from past 2 years. My sole purpose was to attain the deep understanding of softwares which I did not have at the time.
At the time fee was around 2L. 
Scaler have a good curriculum, you can get it on yt , but the environment that is created by the regular classess and peer groups makes us consistent in the pursuit. Most of the teachers were really good , with few exceptions ofcourse.
Amit sir for example made me understand SQL in a way that I never forget the concepts till date.
I wasn't consistent on my assignments but they were making my mind sharp and had all the concepts that are asked in interviews. So some comment saying bad content, I am not sure how you can classify it as bad, they teach you exactly what you will need in interviews and software development.
Placement is a topic I cannot comment about , as I switched companies in my own but the learning helps.
To be conclusive as 6 year experienced SE, if you learn what they teach you , you'll be outstanding SE. But nothing guarantees 100%.

I am currently enrolled in the Scalar DSML course, and overall, my experience has been very positive. One of the strongest aspects of this course is how structured and well thought out it is. The curriculum works equally well for complete beginners as well as for learners who already have some foundational knowledge and want to upskill. The progression of topics feels logical, which helps in building confidence step by step instead of feeling overwhelmed.The standout feature of Scalar is undoubtedly their instructors. They are absolutely phenomenal. Even very mundane or intimidating topics are explained in a way that keeps you engaged. The sessions are interactive, and instructors actively encourage participation, questions, and discussion, which makes the learning process much more effective. The course material is also very well planned and organized, making complex concepts easier to grasp.Another major positive is the inclusion of business case studies and real-world datasets. This alone gives you a strong sense of how problem statements are framed and how solutions are approached at an industry level. Even if you are at an entry-level, these case studies provide valuable insight into how real data problems are tackled, which is something many courses fail to offer.That said, one area where I feel Scalar could improve is practice. For concepts to truly get etched into your brain, especially tools like SQL, you need a lot of hands-on practice. SQL isn’t just a tool; it’s a base language, almost like learning to code. Mastery comes only with repetition. While Scalar does provide practice questions, the overall number feels a bit limited, and you often need to rely on external platforms for deeper practice.Apart from this drawback, everything else about the course—from mentorship sessions to overall organization—is very well done. I genuinely feel that Scalar DSML is worth the investment for anyone serious about entering or growing in this field.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with any program in Scaler. The enrollment was based on what I believe to be fraudulent representations regarding guaranteed interviews with Tier-1 tech companies and significant salary increases.


The reality of the service provided contradicts the sales pitch: the curriculum is substandard, and the support infrastructure is non-existent. Furthermore, the placement assistance is inadequate for experienced professionals; as a candidate with 6+ years of experience, being sent 15k/month job leads is unacceptable. I have also observed that the placement statistics provided during the sales process do not reflect current reality. I have incurred a financial loss of 4 lacs and strongly caution others against this platform.
