Nod

This 10-weeks bootcamp has been an amazing experience and I enjoyed every minute of it! My background was that of a pure bench scientist but now I can independently analyze my own big data sets using python, which has been a challenge before. I previously had almost no coding experience, but I'm amazed by how much I learned within that short amount of time.

The curriculum covered basic python, SQL, machine learning and data analysis and visualization. I specifically liked that we were allowed to choose our own topics for the many mini-projects and I could immediately apply my new skills to my actual work field or own data.

I can only recommend it to anyone - people who want to advance their skills for their current work and people looking to change careers!

Even with prior experience, working as a BI analyst, the bootcamp was perfect. The pace is high and the coding foundation is taught in less than two weeks (I actually picked up a lot of new helpful tricks), and after that every day is packed with everything you need to know about data analytics to solve most every day tasks as an analyst. 
The mixture between teaching a concept, translating it in to code and letting the students explore it further with projects creates a wide understanding even of the most complex subjects. You can’t compare it to taking an online course, or University course for that matter. The ten weeks really fast-forwarded my coding and analytic skills with years.
But what impressed me the most was the dedication from the teachers. They work just as hard as the students to make sure that every topic is learned by everyone. 

My 10 weeks experience with the Nod Coding Bootcamp was amazing. It is very beginner friendly. Before attending the Bootcamp it took me forever to handle tables and data using Python because I spent a lot of time googling. Now I can handle data easily without checking the documentation at all (basic data overview, EDA, and visualization). Teachers are nice and fun. It was very intensive and I was tired every day but it was very amazing that at the end of the course I found I learned incredibly much.

I found NOD shortly after moving to Sweden from Asia, where I'd just completed my secondary education. My goal of attending the Bootcamp was to broaden my skillset and become better equipped and prepared for my university studies, although I'd never written a single line of code before that point. I'm happy to say that NOD has surpassed my expectations, allowing me to become highly proficient in a plethora of programming skills, such as SQL, Python, Seaborn, and Machine learning, just to name a few. In my opinion, what makes NOD so special and unique is the passion of the instructors and the effective student/teacher ratio (0.5 teachers per student!). I was able to have consistent 1 on 1 sessions with the instructors, who would explain the concepts with patience and passion.

Overall, highly recommend it. Great teaching, great value, great atmosphere.

Time flied during the 10 weeks at Nod. From having little previous knowledge of programming, I can now say confidently that I know Python. Having said that, one can allways become more proficient. I had envisioned that Python would be way more complicated than what it is; it's actually quite logical. From week one you get a good practical setting on what Python is all about.  It's not allways about knowing code by heart which can be quite intimidating as a beginner, and there are many ways to get the same solutions. Now at the end, I have a portfolio which I want to enhance  even more.

This bootcamp is challenging, intense and info-packed but also very rewarding! As I have had friends attending the bootcamp before me, I had high expectations beforehand - all of these were exceeded due to the curriculum being up to date and very balanced. I especially liked the combination of codealongs, labs and projects that challenged the concepts introduced in various ways. I had no prior knowledge in coding before attending the bootcamp, however, after these ten weeks I'm ready to apply for a job as a Data Analyst. During the bootcamp I worked part-time (30%), using mornings, lunches and evenings for meetings, however, this is not something I recommend if you want the full experience and learnings from the bootcamp.

The bootcamp was both a very intense and informative experience. The instructors are young founders and it is quite clear are very passionate about the program.

The program is made up of three blocks which lead from Python to Data Analytics to Machine learning in a very structured way. 
The incubator environment really helped me develop my coding abilities in both code alongs and labs where we practised.

A huge shoutout to one of the main instructors, Nils, who patiently helped me 1-1 on many occasions in understanding some of more difficult aspects of both the statistics blocks as well as the machine learning.

I really recommend them for their passion, up to date material and the incredible amount that is taught over a period of 10 weeks.

With a background in electrical engineering and information security, I could not find any program to attend programming languages that are very helpful to proceed with my desired cybersecurity profession. I found Nod as the only coding Bootcamp that offers Python, SQL, and Machine learning courses and I finally decided to join and start a new life experience. After ten hardworking weeks, I can say that I got what I was looking for. It was a very great experience, with great people and a wonderful environment. The right decision that I made!

This bootcamp has opened so many new doors for me. The first three weeks were really tough, and it was really challenging absorbing and learning the ways of coding. But once you get to know the basics, you overcame the first hurdle and the progression from there was just crazy. Before the bootcamp, I thought I was a non-technical person, and now 10 weeks later I have a whole new confidence in tech. The teachers encourage and support you, the curriculum is well planned with both theory, coding sessions and independent projects, and the bootcamp pushes your boundaries and challenges you in the best way. 

Great program. I came in with zero experience and have learned more than I could have dreamed of. The program is designed to build on the skills you've acquired the previous week which is helpful in many ways. For one what you learn actually sticks and moreover classes get gradually more advanced. Therefore the quite intense 10 weeks don't feel as tough as I imagined they would and I still feel like I've learned more than I expected. In addition to a good curriculum there's also a really nice ambience in the classroom and a lot of measures are taken to make sure the students have a great time while learning valuable skills. 

The instructors at Nod were awesome! They were super chill and always listened to our feedback, which made the whole experience feel more personal. Plus, being in-person was a game-changer - you get to know your fellow classmates throughout the course, especially during team-building activities, which were a blast. From problem-solving challenges to group projects, these activities not only helped us bond but also sharpened our collaboration skills.



What's really cool about Nod is that it's one of the only in-person bootcamps available. In today's world of online learning, having that face-to-face interaction with instructors and classmates was invaluable. It created a real sense of camaraderie and made learning so much more engaging.



Throughout the bootcamp, we covered a ton of cool stuff like Python, SQL, Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, A/B testing, and regression analysis. Oh, and let's not forget about statistics! Now, I know statistics can be a bit intimidating for some, but the instructors did an amazing job of breaking it down and presenting it in a way that was easily understandable for most. So, if you're worried about stats, don't let that scare you away - you'll be in good hands!



We even dove into supervised and unsupervised machine learning, building a complete Machine Learning pipeline from scratch. And let's not forget about GenAI - learning how to leverage that could seriously boost your career prospects.



So if you're looking for more than just a course, but a real community where you can learn, grow, and have fun along the way, Nod is definitely the place to be!
