I recently completed the Product Management Fellowship from NextLeap, and it was an incredibly valuable experience. The program is thoughtfully designed with a structured curriculum that helped me build a strong foundation in product thinking and develop a product mindset.The fellowship covers all the essential skills needed to succeed as a PM — including product management fundamentals, product design, SQL and data analysis, tech and system design basics, and an introduction to machine learning. This comprehensive approach gave me a holistic understanding of the PM role.A standout feature is the mentorship model. Each small group is assigned a dedicated mentor, allowing for regular one-on-one sessions, personalized feedback, and guidance through real-world case studies and assignments.Another highlight was the placement support unit. They guide you in building a strong product portfolio, preparing an impressive resume, and sharing your profile with top companies. With their support, getting interview calls becomes much easier and more structured.Lastly, the interview preparation sessions were incredibly helpful in improving problem-solving skills and boosting confidence for actual PM interviews.Overall, I highly recommend the NextLeap PM Fellowship to anyone aiming to break into product management. NextLeap's PM Fellowship is great. The course's study material is superior. So much so that one could self learn (If driven enough, if not, it can be overwhelming). Instructors are great, mentors are the best, you get your highest ROI learning from the mentors. Placements are meh. The PM market is super competitive these days and barely anyone gets a job just by applying. One's gotta go way above and beyond than just applying. That being said, if you're someone who's super curious and would prolly want to learn Product Management/Product Building & lifecycle so much, that you'd be fine not having an outcome attached to it, I'd suggest you to go for this. (PS: For someone who's enrolling now or already enrolled and starting the fellowship, your portfolio score needs to be above 80% to even apply to companies for placements so ensure you do projects from Day-1). I had a really fulfilling experience with NextLeap. What stood out to me was how well-structured the entire program was. Unlike many other courses where you have to figure things out yourself, NextLeap provides everything you need in one place—well-organized resources, live sessions, and hands-on projects that make learning easier and more practical.

The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to cover only the most relevant and in-demand product management skills. There’s no unnecessary fluff, which helps you stay focused and not feel overwhelmed. I found this streamlined approach very effective, especially as someone trying to make a career switch into product management.

Before joining the bootcamp, I had a basic idea of UI design but didn’t fully understand the “why” behind good product design. This bootcamp changed that for me.The structure was clear, the mentors were supportive, and the projects felt real and practical. Joining the NextLeap program honestly changed the game for me.
The way it’s structured is super practical - it starts with the basics and gradually builds up to advanced topics, so it works great whether you're just starting out or trying to upskill.



What really stood out for me was the mentorship. I got to learn from folks who actually work in the industry, and they were genuinely helpful. 
They didn’t just teach - they gave personal feedback, cleared doubts quickly, and were there throughout the journey. From learning tools like SQL, Excel, Python, and dashboarding to actually working on real-world projects, it felt like I was constantly moving forward.



More than just the learning part, NextLeap really helped with placements too. The mock interviews, resume feedback, and portfolio support made a big difference. It gave me the confidence I needed to crack interviews and grab good opportunities.

If you’re serious about product management, this is 100% worth it. The competitive environment does half the work for you, pushing you to grow fast. The assignments are super fun and hands-on—you’ll actually enjoy doing them.

In short it's worth it. I was already having a product experience so I thought it would not be worth it but after I joined, the classes of Arindam was very insightful especially the case hours in which he shared his personal insights from experience in Flipkart as director of PM. Other instructors were not that good but okish. Max students are who wants to transition to PM hence the hiring partners were also hiring for interns, and APM mostly. Another great thing was peers, you make friends and can do mock interviews together which improves interview skills. Also they are beta testing ai one too. Mentor support was not that much helpful for me personally I don't know about others. Also you need to clear graduation project and mentor product interview to sit for placements. At last I would say the investment was worth it, i learnt how to do 1st principle thinking to build products. Read less

I was enrolled in Product Design Fellowship last year. What I really liked about the whole program was industry aligned course. The instructors were practicing Design & Product professionals and the mentors were available every week to solve our issues and help us build our portfolio showcases. The mentor I was assigned to also helped us in understanding the course milestone evaluations and also gave us an Idea of the product certification assessment. If you are looking to learn and ready to put in hours for this course then it will be a rewarding experience in the longer run.  Read less

The experience is quite subjective—it really depends on where you are professionally and what you're looking for. Personally, I wanted to build a solid portfolio, and NextLeap does a great job at that. The comprehensive curriculum along with the weekly assignments made it very easy to understand the course. The cherry on the top is the community which is incredibly supportive, collaborative, and engaging. 

The instructors are seasoned product managers and subject matter experts, which helped boost the practicality of the course. The course is very hands on, where each weekly assignment is inspired from a real world product management challenge.
