Nextleap gave me a breakthrough in Product Management. I had joined their Product Manager Fellowship in my 8th semester of college, wanting to learn about the subject. Their entire curriculum is designed in such way that it compels you to think and act like a PM at each step, and completely transforms your thought process by the time you graduate from the course. When I joined NextLeap, I already had some exposure to product design, but the course was still an eye opener and exactly the kind of learning experience I was looking for.

My biggest takeaway was learning how to approach a problem. I used to start thinking about solutions before deeply understanding the problem first, and I realised that this is the actual foundation of good product design. The course really helped me build that foundation and think more like a product designer.

My favourite sessions were with Arindam Sir. They really helped me understand how a designer should think, approach a problem, and arrive at a solution. I also found most of the sessions with industry experts extremely insightful. They were knowledgeable, approachable, and very friendly. The Figma sessions were also really helpful in building a strong foundation.

Another thing I really appreciated about NextLeap was the career support. Becoming a Top Fellow isn't easy, but it opens up access to the job board and opportunities at some great companies. The placement mentors are genuinely invested, with 1:1 sessions, honest feedback, and support throughout the job search.

A special shoutout to Ritika, who helped me a lot during my job search. She gave me honest feedback on where I needed to improve, proactively checked in, and always supported me until I landed a job through NextLeap. I also want to thank Rahul, who helped me initially and really pushed me to improve my resume, portfolio, and case studies.

Overall, NextLeap gave me much more than just another course to add to my resume. It changed the way I think about product design and gave me a much deeper understanding of the entire design process, from user research and user journeys to information architecture, systems thinking, interaction and motion design, and everything in between. It helped me understand not just what to do at each stage, but how to actually think through and execute each step well.

I joined the NextLeap Product Design Fellowship while transitioning from a non-design background, and it played a significant role in helping me start my career in product design.

The curriculum is well-structured and covers the complete product design process from fundamentals and user research to UI design, design systems, prototyping, and portfolio projects which helped me build confidence and develop a strong design mindset. Also, the mentors provide detailed, actionable feedback on milestone projects, which helped me improve consistently. The live sessions and figma hours made learning much more engaging.

The career support was equally valuable. The team helped with portfolio reviews, resume improvements, interview preparation, and job readiness. Applying what I learned during the fellowship, I recently secured an UI/UX Designer internship through NextLeap Career Services, which was a major milestone.

I came into Nextleap's Gen AI Bootcamp with a genuine question: how do I make myself relevant in a world being restructured by AI?
