LearningFuze is a coding bootcamp that offers full-time and part-time web development and data science bootcamps in-person at their Irvine, California campus and online. Students are taught by experienced instructors who have all held professional engineering careers, and receive support throughout the course, including problem-solving skills, essential workplace and interviewing skills, and mindset training.
In the Web Development bootcamp, students learn full stack front and back end development. The curriculum covers HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript, Git/GitHub, React, Node.JS, Express.JS, PostgreSQL, Tailwind, Servers, Databases and AWS deployment. Students will participate in hackathons and build two custom portfolio applications during the course.
In the data science bootcamp, students learn data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum covers Python, statistical analysis, unsupervised and supervised ML models, Pandas, SciKit-Learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, natural language processing, Computer Vision, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Big Data Spark, classification and regression.
The web development and data science bootcamps don't require a degree or professional experience, but require that students have a dedication to learning and making a full-time commitment. The full immersion web development and data science programs require 2-week prep classes to be completed before applying to the course, plus formalized 4-week post-curriculum career services programming.
Bootcamp students receive lifetime career services and 1:1 career coaching. After graduation, students are admitted into the alumni network and the included lifetime job-search assistance.

What a great Experience!
LearningFuze was the best thing that happened to me in 2020. I searched online for a part time course that would fit my schedule and one that I could attend in person because I wanted to network. Most of the reviews for LearningFuze at the time were for full time students and I was hesitant to put so much money on a program that maybe wasn’t complete for part time students wanting to learn Full Stack Web Development. I attended an info session at General Assembly early in the year and w...LearningFuze was the best thing that happened to me in 2020. Most of the reviews for LearningFuze at the time were for full time students and I was hesitant to put so much money on a program that maybe wasn’t complete for part time students wanting to learn Full Stack Web Development. I attended an info session at General Assembly early in the year and was not pleased with how corporate the whole experience felt. Right before Covid hit, I attended the info session at LearningFuze and was hooked. I’m glad I attended the info session for LearningFuze, right away I knew the school was ready to help me succeed. I asked plenty of questions in the info session and quickly signed up for the prep classes. Having had only minimal HTML and CSS experience I knew I wanted to learn more. The prep classes are a perfect way to see how the school runs and how the instructors teach. I was lucky enough to attend both prep classes in person, but then right after that, Covid hit and I was nervous I wasn’t going to be able to attend the part time classes. Luckily the transition to online was seamless, I had communication everyday with the instructors whether through slack or through a breakout meeting on Zoom. I honestly feel lucky to have found such a great group of instructors and faculty to help me succeed in my endeavor to become a web developer. The part time courses are just like the full time immersion but takes about one year to complete. What both courses teach are the same, the tech stack of Javascript, React, Node.js, Express and so on are vital to what is being asked for in the job market right now. When working on your work, you will feel as if you are working in a company already, turning in things on Github and having them reviewed by senior developers, in addition to reading code out loud. I have recently finished the part time course and now I am in the career services part of the journey. Although I don’t meet with my cohort online anymore, my instructors are always ready to chat with me, I can’t thank Brett, Scott, Tim H., and Cassandra enough for holding me accountable and reminding me everyday, through their support, why I invested so much money in this school.
If you are working a job you are not passionate about, if you love technology but don’t know how to break into tech, if you work full time but think you can’t take night classes, give LearningFuze a try! I want to start off by saying that all of the staff at LearningFuze is amazing. Something I really liked about LearningFuze from the very beginning was that they offer many resources even before the start of the program. I first attended their info session to learn more and was encouraged to sign up for the 2-week prep course (both free). I’d been interested in code for awhile and had been doing my best to take advantage of all the free online resources available, but eventually realized that if I wanted to pursue a career in web development I would need to take it a step further. Did a ton of research on coding bootcamps - both in the Southern California area as well as those that offered remote classes - but kept coming back to LearningFuze. The fact that they offered a free 2 week prep course with no strings attached ...I’d been interested in code for awhile and had been doing my best to take advantage of all the free online resources available, but eventually realized that if I wanted to pursue a career in web development I would need to take it a step further. Did a ton of research on coding bootcamps - both in the Southern California area as well as those that offered remote classes - but kept coming back to LearningFuze. The fact that they offered a free 2 week prep course with no strings attached really sealed the deal for me that LearningFuze would be the right place to take my learning to the next level.I’ve been in the full immersion course for the last several months and it has been such an amazing experience - but definitely good to know what you’re getting into. If you’re expecting to just show up to class everyday, do the minimal amount of work and somehow be a web development expert at the end, then I don’t think LearningFuze (or probably any coding bootcamp) is for you. But if you’re willing to put in the work and time, LearningFuze has a ton of resources that can really help propel you on the right path. Both of my instructors were extremely helpful and knowledgeable with what they taught and you could tell that they both loved to teach which made class something I looked forward to everyday. Course is broken up into a series of exercises, challenges and projects that help teach new concepts, challenge you to prove that you understand those concepts and then implement your new knowledge into real projects that you can show off. By the 4th week of class we were already designing our first project, and by the 8th week we’d already designed and built our first apps. So as long as you're willing to work hard and take advantage of all the resources they offer you, LearningFuze is a wonderful place to learn how to code. Great Program!

Life Changing Career Choice

Coming off a traditional education in university, I never felt that I had a voice or any type of one on one connection with my instructors. Before I enrolled, I went to info sessions for three other popular bootcamps in the area. In fact, they reminded us over and over all throughout the program to ask as many questions as possible because it was going to be a LOT of new information all at once. I always felt supported, and that support carried into the career services part of the program as well. My only regret was that I didn't fully take advantage of what was available to me after the program ended, but even though I never finished my portfolio, about 6 months after graduation, the director and career services manager reached out to me for a check-in and provided me with an opportunity to get back on track. (I was really struggling to stay focused during the first half of 2020.) And honestly, that made all the difference. I highly, highly recommend if you're looking for an environment where the instructors and staff actually care about their students, but you also need to put in the work! I then set a couple of parameters to pick the ideal bootcamp, which was: overall price, financing options, course length, full-stack web developer curriculum and career services. After a couple of weeks researching different coding bootcamps, I came across LearningFuze which fitted all my requirements. However, due to the new remote setting I was a bit nervous on the learning process and its effectiveness. After attending the 2 week online prep-course I felt very confident that LearningFuze was the right decision.
LearningFuze's curriculum has great exercises that will make the learning process much smoother, creating building blocks to solidify the information. The several challenges and projects are created to test your knowledge and gives you a practical experience of what the tech industry will expect of you. Best decision I've made!!!
The part-time program at LearningFuze has been an amazing decision! The instructors have been nothing but supportive and organized throughout my journey, something I did not see in any of my traditional schooling experiences. The best decision I've ever made
I've always had a passion for technology and especially computers, but my knowledge on web development was very limited. It was always something that interested me, but I never did too much research about. A few years ago, I had a couple friends who went through the full-immersion course, and they would not stop talking about how amazing the program was. They would constantly say, "It was a life-changing experience". After only being in the program for 8 weeks now, I have to say I agree...I've always had a passion for technology and especially computers, but my knowledge on web development was very limited. It was always something that interested me, but I never did too much research about. A few years ago, I had a couple friends who went through the full-immersion course, and they would not stop talking about how amazing the program was. Not only do they prepare you with all the knowledge you need to jumpstart a career in web development, they go above and beyond with their career services. They provide presentations about the importance of LinkedIn, and how to utilize it correctly to grow your network. You learn how to create a resume specifically tailored to the tech industry, which provides more opportunities to land an interview. You engage in mock interviews so you can receive direct feedback that will help you in your job search after the program.
All in all, everything from the curriculum to the instructors, to even just the overall atmosphere of the classroom is downright incredible. Every single person I have engaged with has been thoughtful, incredibly helpful, and just an overall joy to engage with. I was exposed to the world of coding from my work as a Client Service Administrator and started learning on my own time. Eventually, I felt like I was able to make better progress if I was in a dedicated learning environment, which lead me to looking into different boot camps. Once I stumbled upon LearningFuze, I already had a good feeling when attending their prep course. The instructors were more than helpful and instead of just giving me the answers, helped guide me in the right direc...I was exposed to the world of coding from my work as a Client Service Administrator and started learning on my own time. Eventually, I felt like I was able to make better progress if I was in a dedicated learning environment, which lead me to looking into different boot camps. Once I stumbled upon LearningFuze, I already had a good feeling when attending their prep course. The instructors were more than helpful and instead of just giving me the answers, helped guide me in the right direction so that I can eventually reach my own conclusions. Part of being a developer means being able to find the answer with the resources you have and the instructors did a fantastic job in developing this skill.
After deciding on attending, I spoke with a few representatives and they truly made me feel like they were looking out for my success. They were straight forward with their results and there was even a technical assessment so that they can understand where you are at in your journey. I was viewed as a person who wanted to learn instead of just another opportunity for money.

Amazing experience
At the beginning of my research for boot camps, I wasn't sure which one to attend. I eventually decided to enroll in LearningFuze and I have no regrets. I am currently still enrolled in the full-time curriculum and I have thoroughly enjoyed the process so far. First, in my extensive talks with TJ Kinion at the info session and during my entrance interview, I did not encounter any hard-sell tactics, which made an incredibly positive impression on me. Also, I felt that all the questions which I had regarding the program were answered without deception such as, tailoring the answers to what I would want to hear. The result was that I did not encounter any unpleasant surprises once I started the program.
The second experience was the absolute unswerving devotion of the entire LearningFuze staff to the success of each student. Each staff member is determined to bring out the best in each student, and not settle for anything less. The instructors deserve special mention for always answering questions with endless patience, both during open-class time and through private messaging. All this makes learning so much more enjoyable and productive.
In conclusion, I can attest to the statement that I have seen others write “The people at LearningFuze are real people” which in my opinion sums it all up. I am extremely grateful to all of them for what they have done for me.

Brett and Scott were incredible instructors who explained things thoroughly, never hesitated to lend a hand, and always answered our questions. They consistently demonstrated enthusiasm for coding and teaching, and they were truly invested in helping us become the best developers possible. The career coaches were phenomenal as well. From day one, TJ and Cassandra were devoted to helping us improve our LinkedIn profiles and resumes, prepare for interviews, and navigate the ins and outs of networking. They were always willing to share their expertise with us, but that expertise doesn’t end once you finish the program. I had the opportunity to be part of LearningFuze's 1st UX/UI Design cohort. It's a great program that invests strongly in their students by providing quality education and resources that prepare us for the real world. The program is split into two modules, 12 weeks each. They are accessible to their students and I'm impressed by the level of commitment they continue to give during my six months there.
