Ik is a great program for someone who wants to fill the gap in their technical skills or crack those difficult coding and system design interviews. If you are ready to put in the hard work, you are only a few months away from your dream job.
Pros:The support team is very understanding and supportive for extending or pausing the course when needed. This helped me a lot. Thanks IK!
Cons:I wished there was a group study feature with other students so that you are not always trying...Ik is a great program for someone who wants to fill the gap in their technical skills or crack those difficult coding and system design interviews. IK - great bootcamp for quick ramp up of Algos
My overall experience at IK has been great, the course content is perfect with lots of deep dive into core concepts. Students get lifetime access which is great! A Good set of instructors, explicit foundational materials, and an active support team
I am currently a student at @IK, and so far my experience with IK is excellent in terms of instructors, foundational materials, and support. I believe the curriculum is really good thanks to Omkar Deshpande. It is also a good platform to meet good techies from top-tier companies and learn from them, and connect with them, which is one of the best parts for me. Most of the instructors stay for some more time after their classes to answer additional questions students may have technical an...I am currently a student at @IK, and so far my experience with IK is excellent in terms of instructors, foundational materials, and support. I believe the curriculum is really good thanks to Omkar Deshpande. The turnaround time of the support team is quite good in terms of scheduling classes/ other career coaching sessions for you or sharing pre-recorded videos from the past. Structured and comprehensive program for interview preparation
I found the Backend Engineering program at Interview Kickstart to be very helpful in my interview preparation journey. Although it comes with a hefty initial price tag, it pays for itself if you stick with it. If you can afford it, and are looking to improve your interviewing skills in an efficient way, I highly recommend it. I did try other methods of studying for software engineering interviews(Udemy courses, youtube videos, Educative courses, SWE books) but IK worked out best for me a...I found the Backend Engineering program at Interview Kickstart to be very helpful in my interview preparation journey. Great course with a great team!
This course was really well made, and really helped me understand pattern recognition and how to approach problems when solving them. This is something I was not getting on leetcode at all, and I would end up memorizing more than understanding. It really felt like I hit that light bulb moment of suddenly understanding how the complex topics work, and that got me excited and motivated to keep solving problems on my own. Excellent coursework with live classes and mock interviews
It's been 16 years since I finished college. InteviewKickstart really helped me refresh my Advanced DSA knowledge and understand newer concepts that are more relevant for cracking FAANG interviews. The program is very well structured for freshers as well as experienced ones. Within 6 months I was able to get a good grasp on DSA, system design and domain-specific topics. Live classes from experts in the field are very informative and interactive. The assessment reviews classes that happen...It's been 16 years since I finished college. Excellent curriculum and supportive team
They course starts from the basics that are needed for most interviews. On algorithms and data structures it is very comprehensive, there are additional videos on advanced algorithms that when you learn you should even feel confident solving hard leetcode problems. You do need to invest a lot of time.
Many mock interviews available which is very important. Even if you can solve codes on your own quickly, interview is a totally different thing that you need to practice for.

IK is still growing in a few parts and is already very strong in a few courses. So be mindful before picking the courses.
The course content is good but to get the best out of it, first know your goals(Jobs you are targeting) and then map them to the courses. For example, I underwent a few pain points with the course content, mapped them to my desired jobs in the market, and observed a gap in course content. I was apprehensive to join the course based on some of information I had previously. I explored couple of competitors. Excellent Program!
I entered Interview Kickstart in January 2022.
I had tried to tackle leetcode and system design on my own but it was
difficult because there is such a wide breadth of knowledge that you
have to know.
The best part of IK is that they structure everything out for you so you
don't have to worry about planning everything, half the struggle of
studying for big tech is just mapping out what to learn and in what order

important part which was just learning and doing problems.
I think the system design part was also great because if you have
no real experience in architecture (like me) it is hard to grasp some
of the concepts.
There is no real substitute for it on other platforms
like YouTube which tend to focus on the Leetcode style problems more.
System design content tends to be relatively sparse, so the resources on
IK regarding it were kind of priceless for me.
I found Omkar's videos in particular very helpful. I think he has a great
way of explaining concepts as if you have never approached them before.
And lastly when it came to apply, IK had this really convenient way
to track what you were applying to. It was daunting to try and do it
on my own, but the system they have makes it much easier.
Overall I am very satisfied with their service and would recommend it to

The Coding and System design classes were amazing. Instructors were very knowledgable, came well prepared for the session and patiently answered all the questions. On the Job assistance side i felt that the course was somewhat lacking. I didnt really aim for too many companies just Facebook, Amazon and Google. I didn't get much constructive feedback on my resume, linkedin profile or how i can land interviews in these companies. In addition there was very little help on offer negotiation. hence the 3 stars but the rest of the course pretty much was spot on.

I can summarize, by saying that without Interview Kickstart, my journey through a job transition would have been very difficult or make not even happened.

Amazing program
I took the Interview Kickstart program in August 2022. I have had a 2.5 decade career and have interviewed many a candidate during my time. The course not only was a great refresher to many of the concepts I had learned in Engineering School and as a Graduate student of Computer Science, but it also taught me a whole lot about interviewing and gave me skills that I can use in my job. One stop place to nail coding interviews
Before joining IK, I struggled to identify pattern to solve algo problems and no idea about how to start my preparation for Tier1 companies. Even solved problem seemed to be new when I tried to attempt again, due lack of knowledge on different algorithms.
Interview kick start helped me to overcome above problems, I saw improvement in me to solve problems on my own using techniques and methodology provided by IK foundation materials and live classes.

The interview Kickstart program has been very useful for me to cover gaps in my knowledge as I navigated myself through a career change. They start from the fundamentals and help work your way up. In general, it is expected of you to work independently however the course structure and tutors help organize yourself as you will have to be the main motivator behind the effort.
