My profession is teaching. I continue to teach at the university and privately, but there came a point where I believed that to grow economically and develop in this new world, I needed to pursue a career within the IT universe. That's when my wife, with whom I undertook the bootcamp, discovered Henry and changed our lives exponentially. This new stage allows us to share not only life but also our profession, thereby spending quality time together.
My experience at Henry was enriching in every sense. I knew absolutely nothing about Data Science and programming, and it opened the doors to a whole new and incredibly dazzling world for me.

 At the beginning, I was seeing everything new since I had no experience in the field of programming. Their way of working with projects and classes is very good, and they provide a lot of information and materials for you to study asynchronously. At the end of the course, you look back and understand everything you learned, and you know that it is a path you have to follow in learning and practicing! I never had a problem, and if I did, management responded correctly. Para mí fue un gran reto intenso estudiar en Henry, después de trasnochar mucho viendo vídeos tutoriales, documentación, blogs y pair programing pude lograr aprender mucho del mundo de la programación, pero apenas es un pequeño trazo de un largo camino de aprendizaje, errores, triunfos y mejora continua, en esta industria la tecnología avanza muy rápido, hay que intentar llevarle el paso, es decisión de cada quien.

I used to be wary of bootcamps that promised you'd learn to program in a few months... I always thought you'd end up losing money and gaining little to no knowledge. Until HENRY started to resonate amongst my Software Engineering friends, who mentioned how surprised they were with the people they'd hire that graduated from HENRY. I had to try for myself... I am still amazed at challenging this bootcamp ended up to be. In only a few months my whole mind and logic structure was turned upside-down. Entering "Henry" was the best decision I could make, there I was able to learn intensively both front and back, the teachers are very well trained and transmit passion for programming. Although they were stressful and challenging months, Henry allowed me to acquire the necessary knowledge to start my career in programming, I always saw javascript courses on youtube but I didn't understand what it was even used for. Henry came to give me not only the use of js, but the whole web development package and showed me what, how and why it was used, closing the idea in my head of a functional product and not just a programming language. 
I put all of myself and Henry put everything so that today I can happily say that I have a job doing what I am passionate about! Read less

Antes de entrar a Henry estudiaba Ingeniería en Materiales y trabajaba cargando camiones de Mudanza, si bien siempre me había gustado la informática nunca había programado antes, Henry fue para mi un antes y un después, porque pude dejar de estudiar algo que no me llenaba y de trabajar en un trabajo que no me gustaba para ser Henry Hero y ser parte de un equipo de programadores en una empresa y trabajar en un lugar que me apasiona.

Bootcamp bastante interesante, no te enseñan nada en profundidad, todo es muy básico y es lo que puedes encontrar en internet de forma gratuita, son pocos los docentes que destacan en didáctica. I entered Henry bootcamp without any programming knowledge, so the bootcamp was incredibly intense. It started at 9 AM, and after classes, I would continue studying until midnight (sometimes even later) because it was challenging for me to absorb the vast amount of new information.

The thing I value the most about Henry is the BEAUTIFUL group of people I found. Since Module 1, I formed a lovely study group and pair programming team that helped me tremendously in navigating this time in the best possible way. A group that stayed together even until the final project.
