Siento que al bootcamp le falta mas herramientas que enseñar, auque las que proponen dentro del bootcamp son esenciales si quieres tener un inicio solido dentro del mundo laboral. la profundidad del conocimiento que abarca es hasta nivel intermedio en herramientas como SQL, Python, Power BI, y en la area Estadistica, en Machine Learning te dan una introduccion, pero el mundo laboral necesita mas que eso te necesita preparado para que uses alguna herramienta en la Nube o que abarques mas conocimientos como Excel, R o Tableu, si no sabes como iniciar en el mundo de la tecnologia Henry es para ti por que te da el ABC y tu de ahi ya partes en una base solida no solo para trabajos como Junior si no para arrancar e ir mas lejos de tus conocimientos con el gran acompañamiento de Instructores capacitados y un carrer coach que te acompañara hasta que logres tu primer trabajo en el mundo de la tecnologia logres tu BOOM!!!

Bastante bueno para ingresar al sector, es una gran ayuda para quienes aún no pueden conseguir ese trabajo en tecnología. Te da buenas bases, aunque siempre hay que buscar formarse más. Me gusto el olan de estudios para acostumbrarse a estar bastante tiempo y poder generar disciplina.

 El Bootcamp de Henry, especialmente su curso de Científico de Datos, se destaca por su enfoque integral en la formación profesional. Hola, les cuento mi historia de cómo llegué a Henry. Ya venía estudiando IT y me recibí de Técnico Superior en Programación de Sistemas, por lo que ya tenía un background técnico, lo que hizo un poco más fácil el recorrido por Henry. Sin embargo, lo que necesitaba de Henry no solo era actualizar mi stack tecnológico con lo que se usa en el mercado hoy en día, sino que también buscaba foguearme y ponerme a prueba para ver si realmente podía estar 8/9 horas todos los días enfocado. Por eso opté por la modalidad full stack, para comprobar si la programación era lo mío o no. ¡Y me di cuenta de que sí!En Henry encontré e hice muchos amigos y compañeros con los que fuimos creciendo y aprendiendo día a día. En el proyecto final, logramos ser elegidos como el mejor proyecto de la cohorte. El video de este proyecto no solo tuvo impacto en Henry y mis compañeros, sino que también me sirvió como una ventana a mi trabajo y con ello logré conseguir entrevistas y finalmente un trabajo en IT.

Although my previous experience was in economics and I worked in the police force, I had an interest in technology that I had cultivated as a hobby and through private courses. I decided to change careers after watching a YouTube video about bootcamps, choosing Soy Henry for its focus on Python and the abundance of resources. During the course, I especially enjoyed collaborating on final projects with my team, despite being geographically separated. The job preparation classes and meetings with my career coach were instrumental in my job search, facilitated by LinkedIn and a recommended resume.

Before Henry, I was a teenager filled with enthusiasm for computer science. During my school days, I spent my free time diving into frontend programming, exploring languages like JavaScript, React, React Native, and delving into cybersecurity courses. Then came the day: my birthday. On my 18th birthday, I decided to enroll in Henry to kickstart my professional journey, which has now granted me the opportunity to work.I've always had a love for mathematics and programming, but I never knew how to merge the two until I discovered data science, and Henry became my first choice to take flight. While many might opt for university, even today (almost a year after joining Henry), there aren't as many alternatives. Nevertheless, I began pursuing a degree in Data Science.I can only say that Henry was the first place to open its arms and provide me an opportunity, irrespective of my experience, location, income, and most importantly, my age. Thus, I am eternally grateful to Henry and everyone who has crossed my path, offering help and motivation throughout my journey.To my beloved project peers and cohort, whom I hold dear, as well as my TAs and the outgoing HA of my cohort, Andres Escuadra, I express my gratitude. The mentorship during and after my studies from Facundo Oppido, Guido, and Tati as Career Coaches was invaluable. The highlight of Henry will always be its community and the constant challenge presented by projects. They taught us that the key is not to fear success or learning new things. In fields like data science and development, tools evolve rapidly, and learning from scratch is a constant. Always pursue your passions and never stop dreaming. Aunque me tomó tiempo(1 año) logré el objetivo que me propuse cuando me inscribí en HENRY, creo que la demora en conseguir el trabajo estuvo mas relacionada con el deficiente mercado laboral de mi pais(Colombia), con la crisis pospandemia del sector tech y con la falta del inglés fluido mas que por algo relacionado con el bootcamp. Mucho del trabajo para adquirir las habilidades técnicas y para encontrar trabajo depende de uno mismo, pero ellos te dan mucho apoyo tanto técnico(académico) como en la busqueda laboral, en mi caso me atrevo a decir que sin ellos no hubiera podido encontrar trabajo. Además vale la pena mencionar que con el nuevo trabajo logré duplicar mis ingresos. Como aspecto a mejorar creo que la calificación y retroalimentación de los proyectos pudo haber sido mas rigurosa y el módulo de bigdata fue demasiado superficial cuando yo hice el curso, actualmente puede que ya lo hayan mejorado.

Henry cumple su cometido, enseñarte varias herramientas de manera intensa, darte mucha practica de los métodos que hay en el mercado laboral. Tener profesores y profesionales de otras áreas de calidad. A veces hay desordenes o algún que otro error(un link que no anda en el student -web con la teoria y videos para repasar/estudiar-, un código mal escrito, una tactica que no funcionó y se veia que era algo medio feo de hacer), pero el programa esta hecho para que salgas como junior pudiendo trabajar, o para que salgas como persona capaz de estudiar sola y luego te llenes de más conocimientos y proyectos los cuales te preparen incluso mejor para el trabajo.Muchas veces el problema no es Henry, sino la gente. Desde un inicio te explican cómo son las cosas, si uno no lee no es culpa de henry, la metodología de aprendizaje es como estudiar solo, pero a la vez acompañado. La idea es simular el trabajo real, cuando no entiendas algo google, chatGPT, stackoverflow, videos de indios LO QUE SEA, tenes que saberlo buscar, ser eficiente, probar cosas y arreglar (ANTES siempre hay que intentar solo, porque asi se aprende de la mejor manera). Pero la gente no entiende, va y pregunta constantemente en Slack por cada cosa minuscula, en la clase pregunten todo lo que quieran, o si un código que les enseñaron esta mal, también esta bien que pregunten, porque si quien se equivoco es el profesor debe aclararlo para todos los del grupo, asi ese error no se mantiene como aprendizaje en la cabeza de uno.Pero no esperen un profesor particular que explique al lado de ustedes, que los mire hacer la tarea y que verifiquen que la hagan. Dentro de todo tienen que practicar con las tareas ustedes, y ayudarse en slack entre ustedes cuando lo necesiten, intentar resolver solos y aprender a buscar respuestas es clave en este bootcamp, ellos les van a dar mil herramientas para aprender pero si no se ponen a estudiar y practicar 8 horas al día (en full-time obviamente) muy lejos no van a llegar(si tienen conocimiento previo es otra cosa jaja).Yo lo recomiendo para que acepta este hecho, el que esta listo para estudiar solo y puede entender desde una pantalla, el que además necesita un cambio, esta aburrido de su trabajo o necesita algo que pague bien. Y no hay mejor momento que AHORA, porque en un par de años va a ver muchisimas personas para la misma cantidad de puestos, por lo tanto va a haber más mano de obra que trabajo. Nota final: LEAN el contrato que firman, después no le quieran echar la culpa a henry si hacen una falta legar y deben pagarlo o ir a juicio.

The bootcamp has a strong social component so that at the end your soft skills will improve drastically because you are encouraged from the very fist day to participate and day by day you will learn how to deal with meetings and improve your communication. The technical skills from the bootcamp are awesome and they are put to test in 3 different projects 2 individual and one in team, this projects are not only good for learning how to make a project but for your portfolio. By the end you will receive help in your job search from a career coach so your resume, LinkedIn profile and GitHub look so amazing so you can start get job offerings as soon as you finish. HENRY lets you study with no initial cost and you can pay once you find a job. Finally I would recommend this bootcamp to everyone that wants to switch careers and is serious about it

Estudie en el bootcamp de Data Science, sabemos que esto es muy amplio pero considero que la estructura ofrecida por Henry es completa aunque algunos temas de manera superficial, pero queda en el estudiante llevar un topico a mas detalle segun su interes. Empece en Abril y termine en Setiembre. Me intereso el sentido de comunidad, encontrarse con gente motivada a aprender y probar cosas, me sirvio tambien la parte de busqueda de empleo por que pude corregir mi cv, mi linkedin, adaptarlos al perfil que yo apuntaba, y las entrevistas me permitieron mejorar mi speech cada vez, aunque fueron muchas veces que tuve que postular y armar mi cv, pero eso hay que remarcarlo, eres tu quien consigue el empleo. Es una experiencia positiva que implica esfuerzo y sacrificios. La parte de los pagos tambien me parecio un punto por el cual me decidi.

I really liked Herny's structure for working, mainly because of the option to choose from live sessions and recording sessions, and also because of the support they have for us until we get a job.

Bootcamp bastante interesante, no te enseñan nada en profundidad, todo es muy básico y es lo que puedes encontrar en internet de forma gratuita, son pocos los docentes que destacan en didáctica. Lo interesante es el trabajo de equipo, el desarrollo de hab blandas y los proyectos lo que lo hace bastante completo.

Altough the first 6 monts of theory are poor and you only learn very very very basics things, laboratories are very good and job preparation is better. It is a very good bootcamp if you have experience in the topic, if you have even a few experience as software developer or anything and you want to improve your career applying data scientist. But only if you already have a professional career. If you will look for your first job, I don't think so it would be the way. The true value of this bootcamp is in improve your softskills and all about job preparations; Linked In profile, looking for a job, interview preparation, etc.

Like any learning process, it has details to improve. I would like to start by listing what I liked the most, the instructors, especially Gonzalo and Jorge during the prep, the tasks to be done most of the time, community experiences such as being a TA, the tools that are learned are the most used In the market for the most part, the rhythm, although it is intense, I think it can be carried out without a problem. Aspects to improve: the writing of the readme, balancing the content of the modules since module 5 is very easy and light to carry but modules 4 and 6 are quite extensive in information, teaching how to use tools in the cloud should be something fundamental we can all create free accounts and do some labs. In general, for me, the experience was more positive and I can complement the details in a self-taught way and putting more effort. Now that I'm working, I know that being self-taught is essential to continue improving, although I think there is still a lot to improve in the bootcamp myself. I continue to highly recommend taking this great opportunity if you are interested in this world.

El bootcamp de henry es increíble.te da las herramientas que hoy el mundo laboral te pide. gracias a este bootcamp pude defenderme de las entrevistas como nunca antes lo había logrado, y fue gracias a los proyectos que te hacen hacer

Soy graduada de la segunda cohorte del bootcamp de data science en Henry. En la primera fase de clases, si bien es exigente hay varias cosas que hay que mejorar mas que en sus contenidos en sus formas. Sin embargo, todo cobra sentido cuando llegas a la fase de LABs donde haces los trabajos aplicados!Es increíble cuando te das cuenta que si has aprendido un montón de cosas y sobre todo, que ahora sabes como aprender mas de forma autónoma y eficiente. El bootcamp es desafiante en muchos niveles, la parte de las habilidades blandas y como enfrentar el mundo laborar también es algo que me parece muy valioso, por lo menos yo lo desconocía.
