I had a great experience with the Applied Data Science Program by MIT Professional Education. The website is very intuitive and easy to use, and the lessons are clearly explained.What I appreciated most is that the program does not only provide theory. There are many examples, code exercises, complementary learning materials, and guided projects. In the guided projects, you code together with the instructor, which makes it much easier to understand the logic step by step instead of just reading already finished code.Overall, it was a very valuable learning experience. The structure, explanations, practical examples, and additional resources make the program highly effective for anyone who wants to build a solid foundation in applied data science.

I recently completed the Applied Generative AI Certificate Program by Johns Hopkins University, delivered through Great Learning, and it has been an exceptional learning experience. The program is thoughtfully structured and strikes the right balance between strong theoretical foundations and practical implementation. Every module builds progressively, making it easy to understand both the fundamentals and advanced concepts of Generative AI. The assignments, quizzes, and capstone projects challenged me to apply what I learned and significantly strengthened my understanding.

What I appreciated most was the program's focus on real-world applications rather than just teaching concepts. It encouraged me to think about how technologies such as NLP, Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, Guardrails, and Fine-tuning can be used to solve business problems. Intensive data science program with excellent classes by MIT professors, and many practical case studies guided by Great Learning mentors in smaller groups. The program starts with into introductory classes in Python and statistics and then manages to go quite deep into data science, and covers a broad range of data science & AI techniques, both in theory and practice. During my No Code AI and Machine Learning: Building Data Science Solutions certification time, I was able to learn AI and ML from a very technical point of view, and a bit hands-on Rapid Miner. It's good to study at my once pace, although it requires weekly dedication. Mehak was a very supportive, comprehensive and communicative Program Manager. I recently completed the AI certificate program from the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, delivered through Great Learning, and it greatly exceeded my expectations.Great Learning's organization and program leadership stood out immediately. The curriculum was thoughtfully sequenced, building from Python, to applied machine learning, into generative AI and agentic systems in a way that created real, cumulative understanding. Schedules, deadlines, and resources were communicated clearly and well in advance, and the program team was consistently responsive. A lot of care went into structuring the experience so that working professionals could keep pace.The mentors were outstanding. They brought serious technical depth along with the ability to explain difficult concepts clearly and patiently. Their feedback was specific and constructive, and they were generous with their time during live sessions and even "as-needed" during projects.  I was inspired to enroll in the MIT No-Code AI program by my growing interest in leveraging artificial intelligence to solve real-world problems without relying heavily on traditional programming. As someone working in a technical support and operations environment, I saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between business needs and AI-driven solutions, and to better position myself for the evolving demands of the tech industry. 
Throughout the program, I gained a strong understanding of how to design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications using no-code platforms. I developed skills in workflow automation, data modeling, and prompt engineering, as well as a deeper appreciation for how AI can be integrated into everyday business processes. One of the most valuable insights was learning how to think critically about problem-solving with AI—focusing on efficiency, scalability, and user impact rather than just technical implementation.

The AI and Data Science course offered by Great Learning in collaboration with MIT IDSS was phenomenal. They offered a variety of case studies covering multiple domains retail, pharmacy, e-commerce etc. the hands on projects and weekly mentored sessions were extremely helpful in understanding the concepts. The syllabus is rigorous so have to dedicate 15-20 hours per week at a minimum. Wish there was a synopsis of study material at end of each topic. But overall highly satisfied and learned a lot during this 12 week course. Highly recommend it.  Read less
