Troy and his team do not require massive amount of money but offer the same level of education and opportunity for their students. After looking through several very expensive options I found CourseCareers.
Troy and his team do not require massive amount of money but offer the same level of education and opportunity for their students. The course is effective for individuals with no experience or education but also for for individuals like me. I have both a College Degree and several years of experience in Financial Technology Recruitment/Sales. The course allowed me to brush up on my previous skills and expand them as well.
I viewed several options for courses that you only have to pay their 10,000+ fee upon successful placement in a company with certain pay requirements. The team at CourseCareers requires a $500 upfront and get the rest of their pay from the actual companies they are placing with. This implied two important things to me.
1. 500 dollars for a 10,000 dollar education is a no brainer, even if you are taking as a refresher course on your Sales skills that price tag is well worth it.
2. The companies Troy and team works with are invested in CourseCareers supplying excellent talent. The team is looking out for the unemployed or those seeking new opportunities and was able to convince the companies on their docker that the talent supplied is worth them paying for it. This represents superior selling and business development skills in the CourseCareers team that you will be learning from.
Even if you are only looking to find out if this is the right career path for you, the upfront cost is minimal and the amount you will take away from it is equal if not greater than the $10,000+ courses you will find elsewhere.

Value, Support and a Job Offer!

The course material itself dives into specific tools you may be expected to use and gives a great preview of what to expect.
The biggest and most important part of CourseCareers is the support though. I talk to Troy a few times a week and I honestly have no idea how he has the time to fit me in his busy schedule, but he somehow does! After graduation, he helped me through the interview process and continued to include me in the weekly chat with other students, which is not only fun but is also very educational. CourseCareers is really building a community that is great to be involved with.
Oh yeah, you're probably wondering, does this lead to a job? The answer is yes! There are full-time job opportunities as well as internships. I was fortunate to land a full-time job due to my past sales experience, but I would encourage people to highly consider the internship opportunities to continue their learning experience and be involved with high-quality firms. For people who are nervous about cold calling, this is an excellent place to begin. These positions are also paid, and a great way to figure out if a career in sales is really for you.
Find out you're not a fit for the sales industry? No worries, you got paid in an internship and still got to learn valuable skills for a price tag that is minuscule in comparison to other programs. These skills you learned with also be transferable to other career fields outside of sales.
Yes, you can watch Youtube videos or find a LinkedIn mentor, but the support you get with CourseCareers is unmatched. The fact you can go through the course at your own pace is also a major benefit, but I encourage people to move quickly because after completing the course Troy will have you lined up for interviews very quickly, so be ready to interview!

I purchased Course Careers not too confident about how they would deliver, but whoa! I was totally shocked. I am only about one third of my way through the course but I feel there are some aspects that I wish went more in depth. $500 later and still no job. I feel the course is very surface level and much of information can be found on YouTube. I would not recommend this bootcamp. After 6 weeks, I don’t feel like I gained any new skill. I’m still very clueless. I started this boot camp specifically because I was told it would lead me to a job.
