Big Blue Data Academy offers a data science bootcamp that can be completed part-time (24 weeks) or full-time (12 weeks). The part-time bootcamp is offered live online, and the full-time Data Science bootcamp is offered either in person or live online. All bootcamp sizes are limited to 20 students.
The data science bootcamp curriculum covers Git, Bash Shell, big data, cloud computing, machine learning, deep learning, visualizations, and interactive dashboards. Bootcamp students will also learn data retrieval, APIs, databases, and web scraping. Students will work on a real-world business project alongside a Big Blue Data Academy partner company for the final four weeks of the bootcamp. This project will be presented to prospective employers at the conclusion of the Data Science bootcamp on career day.
Big Blue Data Academy is open to undergraduates, Bachelor, Master or PhD graduates, and professionals. Applicants should be proficient in math and statistics and have a basic knowledge of Python programming. Applicants should be prepared for an interview with an admissions rep to discuss their technical background and career goals. Forty hours of pre-bootcamp preparation work is required for all accepted students.
Big Blue Data Academy provides career support including workshops on crafting an effective CV and LinkedIn profile, mock technical interviews, and access to career opportunities posted by Big Blue Data Academy collaborators. Lifelong career advice and support as well as access to the Slack community portal are also provided.
Course content is given in English. Greek is used in course instruction. Tuition may be paid in an installment plan. A discount is available for paying tuition fully in advance.

They start from scratch and guide you through Data Science in a practical way that's totally relatable to real-world scenarios. Most of the instructors are not only very skilled in their field, but also excellent at explaining everything they teach and super friendly, with only a few exceptions.
Balancing a full-time job with the part-time Bootcamp wasn't easy, but despite its demanding nature, the course was incredibly rewarding with all the new things you get to learn. I'd recommend it to anyone who is considering to start a new chapter in their career. However, the comprehensive curriculum and supportive learning environment of this bootcamp quickly helped me get into the world of data.
From the fundamentals of statistics and machine learning to hands-on coding projects, every module was carefully designed to build a strong foundation. The instructors did an excellent job of breaking down complex concepts into digestible, real-world examples, making it accessible for learners of all backgrounds.
The instructors were always available for questions, fostering a sense of community and collaboration among the participants.

The course is comprehensive and doesn't require any prior experience, which for me was a plus. I personally would enjoy it more if the curriculum provided more opportunity for expanding on a few topics and modules in-class and made more space for exercises. Yes, even more.
