Big Blue Data Academy

I recently completed the Data Science Full-Time Course at Big Blue Data Academy, and I must say, it was an intense yet immensely rewarding experience. The course duration is only 3 months, which makes it quite demanding, but the outcomes are absolutely worth it.

One of the standout aspects of this program is the balance between theory and practical application. A significant portion of our time was dedicated to hands-on tasks, which included numerous mini-projects. These projects provided us with a real-world context and a better understanding of how to tackle actual data science problems. All this helped to deal with the final project, in which we had to deal with a real business problem, and collaborate with respective businessmen.

The instructors at Big Blue Data Academy are exceptional. Each one of them carries a deep sense of responsibility and a genuine desire to help students succeed. Their dedication and expertise were evident throughout the course, and they went above and beyond to ensure we had the necessary knowledge to progress in our careers.

Regarding job assistance, the academy offered dedicated hours focused solely on career support. This included advice on CV preparation and self-promotion which was incredibly helpful. The career services team is always available to provide guidance and support, making the transition from education to employment much smoother.

If there is one recommendation I would make, it would be to consider adding a few extra days off during the course. Given the vast amount of knowledge that needs to be covered in just 3 months, a few additional breaks would help students absorb and consolidate the information more effectively.

Second time attending a bootcamp of Big Blue , and the experience was equally great . My first experience with the organisation wowed me and set the standards really high. This second experience met these standards in every way. 
Regarding Job Searching Assistance of the programe, the network of professionals familiar with big blue is quite expansive and the programes are held in high regard. Of course there are no guarantees but the network that opens to you through these programes is invaluable , especially considering the short time frame of each programe. It helps a lot. Read less

I recently participated in the Data Analytics Bootcamp, and it was an incredibly valuable experience. Over the course of a few months, I learned a lot about data analysis, and I am very pleased with the outcome. 

The instructors were knowledgeable, approachable, and always willing to help. Their expertise in the field was evident, and they did a fantastic job of explaining complex concepts in a way that was easy to understand. 

The lessons were up to date and highly relevant to current industry practices. The curriculum was well-structured, covering a wide range of topics from basic data manipulation to advanced analysis techniques. I appreciated the practical, hands-on approach, which allowed me to apply what I was learning in real-time.

Great instructors and very good hands on experience. It was an intensive program but I have learned a lot and began from zero. High quality course for a solid entrypoint in the field of Data Engineering. All lecturers are well-established in their respective fields and active professionals in companies. The bootcamp is quite demanding and you should have at least an introductory knowledge of python and some familiarity with the linux terminal if you are planning to attend. The airflow apache and microsoft datafactory topics could be given more time, but then the bootcamp would have to last longer. We were taught the stack currently used in the industry. The Data Analytics Bootcamp from Big Blue provides one with an intense hands on practice of key components used by a Data Analyst. The core analyst subjects such as SQL, Python, EDA in Python are reviewed in more depth as well as business oriented visualizations (Python dashboards and PowerBI). Some components as web-scrapping, MongoDB, APIs are also practiced but not thoroughly. The program consists of great professionals who enable you to search for the right path/solution. In parallel, the work is saved in GitLab/Github to enrich the professional character of the process. Towards the end, the course examines and further enhances your progress in several group projects where the incentive is team oriented collaboration as well as personal growth/confidence through presentations.

The Big Blue Data Engineering is one of a kind. The professors acquire theoretical knowledge and practical, as they all are professionals. The structure of the program was excellent, so as the material. The live coding after every course was the most critical and valuable period of the lecture. During the bootcamp, I obtained a deep understanding of a variety of technologies, such as Python, Databases, Virtual Machines and Containers and Airflow. Excellent bootcamp for graduates or professionals that desire a transition into the realm of Data Analytics. The course is very well structured and the instructors know their domain really well. The bootcamp is demanding especially if you are working full time and you have no/little coding experience but it is definely worth the effort. You are learning skills that are in the highest demand in the job marketplace. The best thing about this bootcamp is that the ratio of practise/theory is like 80/20 so you are learning things the hard but with the most efficient way.
