Web3 Solidity bootcamp (Ethereum Blockchain)

Up to date, organized and in depth content. Excellent coursework that solidifies difficult concepts and builds a portfolio. Great instructors from the industry which you have access to even on weekends, if you require. Allows to conduct studies at your own pace. Great support to build a personal brand and land a position in your desired field.

This review is based on the Web3 Solidity bootcamp. Leaping into a new programming language can be challenging, and Metana has identified that new learners for this course should already have some experience with ideally JavaScript or Python. That recommendation can't be expressed enough, because it is a challenging course. It is more challenging than a standard bootcamp which would introduce people to a language, because the subject material delves into finance as well as blockchain technologies.With that being said, the material is really well put together. There are various videos, documentation, and challenges to aid in learning full stack web 3 development. The assignments are well thought out and put together, and look good on a GitHub profile. While there is a schedule that you can follow to graduate on time, you can also go at your own pace. That has really been worth my while that I'm able to take longer breaks than a standard bootcamp. A lot of those would simply kick someone out for going no contact for several weeks. The job camp towards the end is also pretty good. If you are someone unfamiliar with the landscape of getting a job in tech, it's definitely realistic and has a ton of good advice/best practices. They also have in-house recruiting, so it makes sense that they want you to do well in the course. 

Metana is self-paced and very flexible. I was able to pause for almost a year due to personal circumstances, and the team was incredibly understanding.The course is well structured, with assignments in every module to test real understanding. The instructors are excellent — especially Dhruvin, who gives detailed PR feedback and asks thoughtful questions to ensure you truly grasp the material. The content is well curated, regularly updated, and not overwhelming.I haven’t attended the career coaching sessions yet, so I’ve left that rating empty for now, but I’m looking forward to future sessions and job outcomes.

Metana has really been a solid experience from start for me. The bootcamp is very practical, you will be learning all the fundamentals and building projects instead of just going through theory. It’s definitely advanced and challenging, but things are broken down in a way that makes it clear and easy to understand. ( there are a lot of videos to watch tho, but yes thats part of the process )The bootcamp instructor Dhruvin deserves a special mention too. He’s patient, approachable, and explains complex concepts in a way that clicks. He also makes sure you understand why you’re doing something, which is what really helps the knowledge stick. Having someone who’s clearly experienced in the industry guiding you through makes a huge difference.
also about the career guidance bit. they have a course/brand called the jobcamp where they help you build your personal brand and then guide you to land jobs. Kavin (as I call him) makes the personal branding and career prep so much easier and understandable. His sessions are straightforward, no bs and full of slick strategies that actually helps when applying for jobs.
imo, the bootcamp is very supportive, and equips you with the skills and confidence to take your next step in tech. especially if you are transitioning into web3.

 I recently completed the Advanced Solidity Bootcamp at Metana, and it was a great experience. The program was challenging, covering everything from smart contract security and upgradable contracts to DeFi protocols and advanced testing tools like Foundry, Slither, and Echidna. The instructors were knowledgeable and genuinely supportive, and the projects challenged me to push my skills to the next level. I highly recommend this bootcamp to anyone serious about becoming a professional blockchain developer.

With enough initiative and AI just about anything is learnable. The value of Metana lies in its curation of high quality information that expedites the learning process. Some of the Web3 applications I've built required a relatively deep understanding of the underlying EVM architecture, and the instructors were always there for satisfying help. I still have a lot to learn but my base knowledge of CS has surely deepened thanks to Metana.

The course is well-paced with never too much thrown at the student at once. Most of the course content is just a consolidation of public material from websites/documentation/youtube but in a way that's a testament to Metana's no-fluff way of transferring useful knowledge to their students. The projects are plenty challenging with good ability to show off to recruiters through Github. Time with instructors can be a bit hard to find depending on your time zone but I know that the instructors are always willing to meet at anytime if you reach out personally.

Probably the most constructive and effective bootcamp for blockchain development out there. Sources are very well curated.By the end of the bootcamp, students will have sufficient industry knowledge to start working right away.

This comprehensive approach gives me the confidence I need to launch my blockchain development career.Overall, Metana's Solidity Bootcamp is a well-rounded program that equips you with not just the technical skills but also the industry know-how to succeed in the exciting world of Web3.

I joined the bootcamp thinking that knowledge how to work with Ethereum blockchain is essential for my further career path as Software Engineer and that was the right choice. Metana provided me with vast amount of topics those cover all the aspects and nuances of web3. Through the path of camp I was able to interact with my mentors - Dhruvin and David, who both are engineers with huge experience and passion to help. Moreover, additionally there is a jobcamp course, where you can build your identity for recruiters. And this jobcamp instructor, David, is a former software engineer, who switched to recruitment direction. I am satisfied with the course, but it is not easy at all and is not suited for newcomers. 

I've only completed three modules so far. However, the material is comprehensive, and the instructors are very knowledgeable. The platform works well, and all of Metana's supporting staff do a great job of ensuring you're set up for success. I'm looking forward to progressing and landing a Job in the Web3 space.

While these resources are publicly available on the internet, Metana excels in curating, aggregating, and organizing them by lesson, making the learning process smooth and efficient. The program also emphasizes practical learning through real assignments. These assignments come with specific requirements, challenging us to brainstorm and build our projects independently, ensuring we meet the set criteria. Additionally, the mentorship aspect is invaluable. Our code undergoes thorough reviews by mentors who provide detailed, constructive feedback. This feedback has been crucial in helping us improve our code's security, style, and overall quality.

The bootcamp covered essential Solidity topics such as smart contracts, decentralized applications (dApps), and Ethereum.  The instructors were industry experts with extensive experience in blockchain technology. Considering the quality of education and the career advancement opportunities, the bootcamp was worth the investment.  I highly recommend it to anyone looking to break into blockchain development, especially those with a background in software development.

Feedback is brutal, sometimes it actually hurts, but it is what it is. This ensures you're learning from the best and most up-to-date knowledge. Plus, their passion for the technology is contagious!

I was skeptical about the job guarantee, but Metana delivered. Their career services team (Imeth & David) helped me refine my resume and portfolio, and they connected me with relevant companies. I had multiple job offers before graduation, and I ultimately chose a position at a leading DAO. Metana isn't just about education, it's about results. To mention about instructors, they are direct, they do not sugar coat your mistakes, they push you to improve, be efficient week by week. I had zero prior blockchain knowledge before Metana, but their clear explanations and hands-on exercises made everything click. Especially in my case because I used to be in the medical field & self learned how to code. The bootcamp is intense, suuuper intense!! But it's also incredibly rewarding.This bootcamp does not re-create the wheel by trying to make their content, they put together A-grade content you find freely on the internet and create the best possible pathway for you to reach your goals. I find this very smart. 💪By the end, I was building my own DeFi protocol! If you're serious about Web3, this is the place to be.
