Web Development Fundamentals

I chose Nucamp Fundamentals because it was one the only entry level camps that offered me to be able to create a personal web page. The content was canned projects in all of the other camps I researched, but Nucamp allowed me to make my own web page/profile. I added my personal touches and expanded on every project from the weekly challenges. I was looking for content to have in my portfolio that was unique, not just canned challenges and Nucamp allowed me to add my personal touches to each assignment. You get out of it what you put in and collaborating in our class's dedicated SLACK channel was a simulation of real life peer coding and this was the most valuable part of the course, IMO. Creating new tech friends that I will keep collaborating with in the Nucamp community is a huge perk.I liked that the investment was low money and time only 4 weeks less than 400 bucks.

I chose Nucamp because it was affordable, and also meeting once a week online through zoom, and being able to interact with the instructor and other students was beneficial to my learning. 

I chose Nucamp because the price was very affordable . Also for being a newbie to coding ; they offered the Web Developer course  which gave me an insight into the industry and what to expect. 

What I liked most was how flexible it is to take a bootcamp and still have some time during the week for personal life. But I recommend you study and focus because it does move forward quite a bit.

Overall, its a great experience and I am looking forward to the next level. Thank you Nucamp!
 

I chose Nucamp because its cheaper and I didn't have to commute.My experience was informative and I gained a lot of knowledge.The instructor was on point on time during the workshops and available any other day.I think the workshop hours should be 6 hrs because as you progress there's a lot of material to cover plus the assignment coordination is very helpful.

It's a great course to start with, and gave me the fundamental knowledge I needed. 

NUcamp provides the fundamentals needed to help you set a great learning route. I tried doing in my own and I got caught up on a while loop without a break statement. Learning coding takes longer than what the fundamental course is suppose to teach, BUT it pushes you towards a structure for you to continue. I am attending the full stack along with my sister  

This is a great intro course to web development. I feel like I have a solid foundation of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.The course is well-organized and you can work at your own pace. The community here is very helpful and supportive. You never feel like you're stuck on a problem with nowhere to turn to.I can't emphasize how much I learned over the course of 4 weeks. I have taken other free courses, and while they are great, NuCamp really shines when it comes to pointing you in the right direction in terms of what you need to learn, what resources/tools to use, etc. I recommend this course to anyone interested in getting a better grasp of what it means to be a web developer without having to take on the full commitment of a front-end/full-stack boot camp. 

My supervisor highly recommended Nucamp's Web Development Bootcamp since he was a student some time ago and thought it would be helpful for me.I really enjoyed Daniel's pace and method of instruction. I also thought the students in our class were great, too.

The cost is truly affordable and reasonable. The knowledge is top notch!

I chose to attend Nucamp because of it's remote course offerings. As a disabled student, flexibility is paramount in my decision making process because sometimes your specific medical needs dictate that you change plans with little notice. I started classes during the pandemic quarantine and loved the coursework and pacing of the lessons.The addition of training students on screenreader accessibility was also fantastic as I know plenty of blind and low-vision folks run into these issues regularly. My teacher was helpful when I needed help understanding concepts and encouraged me to try new things when I had ideas. If you're considering taking a course here, I think you'd be pleased with your decision.

I enjoyed learning code online and making my own schedule during the week. The Saturday workshops were awesome! Our instructor was very knowledgeable, helpful, and encouraging. I enjoyed both working with and learning from others taking the course. I feel I made an excellent choice in choosing Nucamp!

Nucamp's web development fundamentals course was a truly wonderful experience, and I can't wait to further my skills with Nucamp's full stack course! Before Nucamp, I nearly gave up on finding a bootcamp that would give me the skills I was seeking while still working around my full-time work schedule.  Not only is Nucamp flexible enough to maintain a job while learning, the low cost makes learning accessible. The value with Nucamp can't be beat. 

I liked that I was able to understand and learn from the video lessons. It was very easy to follow.

I chose nucamp for the ease of access to courses and price. My experience so far has surpassed my expectations. Can't wait to gt into my next course.

I like the fact that Nucamp offered the Java, HTML and CSS program in a vast and complete aspects and the pricing is absolutely unbeatable!  Instructor is very helpful and approachable.

I chose Nucamp as a great low cost way to learn coding at my own pace. I wanted to get into coding, but had no idea how. Others suggested doing free coding lessons online, but for me if I pay for something I would have to hold myself accountable for what I am learning. Also with free online programs you don't get the live face to face/ webcam interaction with an instructor who can answer your questions and help you navigate what you are learning in real time. I have a hectic schedule so being able to take this coding class online coupled with the 4 hour workshop on the weekends is a big win in my book!  

It's been both, a challenging and exciting educational path. It's no joke that you have to invest the time needed to learn this program, so be sure to come ready to learn. I've appreciated the method in which content is presented. Nice, bite size pieces, straight to the point with supporting exercises. Looking forward to my next steps with the full stack program.

I am very satisfied with this course! The teaching style actually worked really well for me, and I was able to stay motivated with the other students via slack, that really helped a lot!  I am looking forward to starting the Full Stack module tomorrow!

Nucamp was great becasue it allowed to continue working full time as well as learning.
