The Bootcamp is an excellent place to start if you're a beginner looking for a comprehensive and well-structured introduction to full-stack web development. It's a very intense 3 months of learning with daily practice and some team projects. The instructors and assistants are always available and helpful. From the first call until after the end of the BootCamp, the whole team is committed to helping you achieve your goals.

It was a good experience to dive in IT world (especially web development) I was online student the TS are there to help (especially Julian) but i would say it is better suitable for onsite students in Zürich as they have access to TS the whole time+ no technical difficulties are present 

I chose the bootcamp at Constructor Academy for two main reasons: First, their emphasis on modern web technologies such as Javascript/React, Python/Django, Docker, and Gitlab CI; and second, its location in Zürich West, a dynamic part of modern Zurich that I was already familiar with from previous job experiences.After spending several years in digital product management and leading teams of software engineers, UX designers, and product owners, I wanted to pivot and transition into a software engineering role myself. Undoubtedly, my prior experience in website development, experimentation with web technologies, and close collaboration with software engineers facilitated my engagement with the rigorous curriculum. I particularly appreciated the integration of lectures and hands-on exercises. Learning new concepts in the mornings and immediately applying them in practical exercises in the afternoons provided a sense of daily achievement and steady progress. The most rewarding aspect of the bootcamp was undoubtedly the group assignments, especially the final project (capstone project), where we honed our teamwork skills and successfully developed a nearly functional product from inception to completion in just three weeks. Additionally, the vibrant learning environment at the Zurich campus and the opportunity to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds who shared a common passion added immense value to the experience.The bootcamp played an important role in finding a software engineering position at one of Switzerland's leading universities a few weeks later. I am grateful for the invaluable experience gained at Constructor Academy.

I loved the Full-Stack Bootcamp of Constructor Academy Zurich. The curriculum is updated regularly to ensure that what you are learning is state of the art. Lecturers and teaching assistants are amazing. They really care about you making progress and I learned so much. The best thing about this course and what sets it apart from others is that they not only managed  to build a programme which provides lots of value, but they also built a wonderful supportive community and you will become part of it the moment you join. Staff, current and former students all support each other and enjoy time together. And this does not end after you graduated. You are still part of this community. They  have my respect for having accomplished this. Building such a community that continues to exist even after the course is over, is difficult to achieve and I give them a lot of credit for this. I recently completed a Full Stack Web Developer bootcamp in Zurich back in 2022, and let me tell you, it was quite the ride! The experience was intense, but boy, did I learn a lot.
One of the best parts of the bootcamp was the social aspect. We had a fantastic time together, bonding over our shared journey into the world of web development. It was great to have a supportive community cheering each other on.
Now, let's talk about the teachers. They were very professionals. Always there to lend a hand, explain complex concepts, and push us to reach our full potential. And let's not forget about the Teaching Assistants. They were there with us every step of the way, guiding us both professionally and mentally.
All in all, it was a fantastic experience. Sure, it was intense, but the knowledge gained and the friendships formed made it all worth it. If you're considering a Full Stack Web Developer bootcamp in Zurich, I highly recommend it. You won't regret it!

Constructor Learning's fullstack bootcamp was a game-changer for my front-end career! In just three months, they equipped me with the skills needed to start in the industry. From Nov 2022 until Feb 2023, I attended the Full-Stack bootcamp in Constructor Learning (previously SIT Learning). I had previous experience in coding with Python, but I had never before attended a bootcamp. My experience in the bootcamp had positive and negative aspects that I will try to summarise in the following.1. Learning paceI understand that the pace of a bootcamp is quick, but I want to say that I don't like it. I found that there was no real time to acquire the concepts properly and to pay attention to details. Everyday we started a new coding project for which there was not enough time to finish. I learnt many basic concepts, for sure, but I have the feeling that I didn't have time to internalise them nor to focus on details.2. CurriculumI find the curriculum very good and appropriate for the job market. Moreover, it is structured and contains many resources. Personally I would skip the part of the curriculum about coding interviews and simply give some interesting websites where one can practise. Instead, I would recommend to include some material about developing a mobile app.An important issue about the curriculum is that it is not inclusive. When reading it, I spotted many times the use of the pronouns "he/his" to refer to a generic user or developer. I find this discriminatory towards users or developers who identify with other pronouns and who also exist (as I am the proof of their existence :D). Fortunately, this problem has a very easy solution, which is simply using the neutral pronoun "they/them", and voilà!For skeptical people: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singular_they3. Remote bootcampAlthough the bootcamp is sold as remote, I wouldn't call it that. I would rather describe it as bootcamp that is streamed because the interaction that the remote students can have with on-site participants is very poor. In order to improve this, I would recommend buying better equipment for the class.Another issue for remote students is the teacher assistance. In the afternoon we always had exercises and we could reach a teacher assistant (TA) if we had doubts. However, the TAs were on-site, and thus much more available for on-site students. Online students had to wait in general a lot to obtain help because TAs were attending on-site students.As a remote student I also had the feeling that communication could have been better. Sometimes, remote students would receive organizational information because on-site students told us what TAs said, instead of receiving it directly from TAs.Here I want to mention that TAs do a very good job, especially Daniel and Adrien. However, I think they need more support and maybe a solution for the problems mentioned above could be to assign one (remote) TA for remote students. Another suggestion is to explain clearly at the very beginning of the bootcamp how remote students should ask for help such that TAs receive the notification.A positive aspect of the bootcamp is that all lectures were recorded and we have access to the recording forever. This was very useful for the afternoon exercises and I guess for future projects.4. Last projectThe last three weeks of the bootcamp are dedicated to a single project that is built from scratch. This has been a very enriching and satisfying experience thanks to my team, but I would have appreciated more support from TAs & co. During these weeks it was (even more) difficult to reach TAs and many of the planned feedback sessions didn't happen. From my point of view, we started receiving feedback when it was too late and, moreover, the feedback we received was not so meaningful. I would have appreciated a much better organisation during the last project.The above wants to be a constructive review in which I tried to point out things that could be improved. To sum up, I learnt a lot during the bootcamp and feel now more prepared to work as a full-stack developer. Maybe I would have liked to learn in a slightly different way.

A very well curated and complete Full Stack program. Teachers are very competent and helpful. Students are constantly supported through their journey, including after graduation with the job search. During three very intense months students are consistently challenged, they are asked to work in groups and deliver real projects which prepares them for the working environment. I'm very happy with the experience!

Hello this is RiccardoIt is amazing what you can learn within three months time frame.It is like a Tesla 0 to 100 in a couple of second, although the bootcamp is great, please be aware that this will take full dedication and full commitment of your time and life if you really want to succeed.You stress level will be challenged too so make sure you have a way to steam out from time to time. Despite all of this I was able to get an internship right after the bootcamp and get hired by the end of it.So definitively a positive and life changing experience.Highly recommend

My overall experience with SIT Academy was great. This bootcamp is for anyone who is really determined, motivated, hard worker and can afford it.They teach technologies that are in demand right now but you have to sacrifice all of your time for 3 months if you want to be a junior developer after the bootcamp and I am not exaggerating at all. If you don’t put the hours in it then you will be lost because the lessons build upon the previous one.Their curriculum is well planned and super efficient in my opinion. I can suggest them anytime.(I had no degree or any programming knowledge before the bootcamp and I don’t even speak German. 1 year later after the bootcamp I am a Software Engineer Intern at Adobe and I earned this position without any connection.)

I was working for architecture studios for almost 14 years until i had to admit that i wasn't happy with my former job. Because of this, I decided to do a career shift and saw the opportunity to start with SIT Academy. I had some coding experience before starting the bootcamp but it was still exciting and challenging. You just have to really trust the process of their program. Teachers and staff are really nice, friendly and approachable. They also have a very well organized strategy for your learning, precise schedule, very useful resources that you will have access to even after you graduate. They also organize some educational events & bonding time with beers and snacks almost every Friday. To sum it up, I had a great experience with SIT Academy. Side note: I also became a decent ping-pong-player during that time. If you have the chance, do the bootcamp on site in their super located academy in Zurich.

I decided to enrol in SIT Academy's Full-Stack Web Development program in order to further improve my knowledge, and to gain the exposure that I knew I needed in order to be ready for the challenging demands of the software development market, as I was aiming to transition into a new role as a software engineer.Since my first day in the program, I knew that it was the right choice to be there. The instructors are extremely helpful, and also quite knowledgeable. They do their best to ensure that everyone understands the curriculum and gets the best out of it. The assignments were rather challenging, but they're designed in a way that helps you learn and understand the logic behind every line of code that you write, and not just memorise things without understanding them. They helped me find my path as a backend/devops engineer, and I will forever be grateful to their wonderful team for that!Pros:

At the start of 2021 I have never written a line of code, at the start of 2022 I started as a Junior Software Developer in Zurich. I applied to SIT Academy for a change in my carrier after working in the insurance industry for five years. I had zero prior knowledge up to the moment I applied.  After I passed the interviews SIT Academy gave me access to a bunch of preparation work which really helped giving a basic understanding of coding and setting a level to excel from during the bootcamp.The bootcamp is very demanding as there is so much to learn. I really enjoyed the teaching method used by SIT Academy as they give lessons during the mornings and in the afternoons you are free to do as many exercises as you wish to help you understand the topics taught. We also worked on three big projects which you can put into your portfolio and show to potential employers.In the end and after the bootcamp the SIT Academy team will help you prepare your ideal CV and will support you finding a job as a developer.I would highly recommend SIT Academy to everyone who wants to change career paths or wants to learn a new skill. You need to be motivated as you will gain extra knowledge according to the work you are willing to put in.
