Web Development & AI Intensive Program (Full-Time)

I still remember the day I decided to contact Propulsion Academy to apply for their Full-Stack course, only a few months ago.I was determined to become a programmer, after working for many years in a different field, but I was very unsure as to how or where to begin. I can now say, without a doubt, I couldn't have chosen a better way to start. Propulsion Academy is one of those rare places where you get much more than you pay for. Their curriculum is so well organized that it is hard to believe how a person can absorb so much knowledge in so little time, and everything you are taught is carefully chosen so that the students can already apply to competitive jobs with confidence after graduating. The teachers and mentors will be there for you, and they will take you through every step of the way so that you make the most of your time. And, more importantly, they will make sure that you stay motivated and keep up the hard work throughout the course. I honestly don't know how I would have survived such an intensive challenge without the support of every single person there. I joined Propulsion Academy with a smile on my face, and I left with an even bigger one. And now I'm ready for my life as a programmer :)PS: I managed to find a great and very rewarding job just 1 month after graduating. 

The Full-Stack boot camp at Propulsion delivered everything they promised. The curriculum was quite demanding and covered enough of all major parts of web development to enable me to create useful web applications and let them run. When I graduated I was not done learning about the technologies and tools but I had a solid basis to build on. Also, more importantly, through my final project, I got an internship as a software engineer. My experience at Propulsion allowed me to quickly getting up to speed with the (completely different) tech-stack at my new position and I got hired as Junior Software Engineer after the internship.

The Full-Stack Development program was a great experience. It is extremely intense but for me personally, I found it exciting. As someone who had no prior experience in coding before joining Propulsion Academy, the program teaches you enough to land an internship. With that being said, now having been in two roles since graduating, I definitely believe the technologies they do teach are very relevant and applicable to today's job market.Propulsion Academy is also very involved with the job search for their students. They actually helped me find my first role, which was a 6-month contract within a couple months of graduating. Before this contract ended, the school reached back out asking if they can help again with my job search! Even though I had something else already lined up, I really appreciated the gesture and it really speaks volumes on how much they value their students whether they are currently enrolled or graduated.

Propulsion Academy helped me launch a new career as a software engineer in Switzerland. I learned skills at Propulsion that helped me to impress my employer during my interview and land my dream job. In addition to practical coding skills I also gained a valuable local professional network. 

My time at propulsion academy was a truly unique experience. The curriculum was very robust and engaging. I was able to learn all the aspects of Full-Stack software development from turning an idea into a fully-fledged and functional application. The program is very demanding as you learn about the most relevant and in-demand technologies, then transition into using them to create real-world applications. The Full Stack course is a hands-on experience that is well worth the money. It is costly, but the support makes it worth it. You can reach out to the teaching assistance almost every time and get help immediately. I myself went from product management to working as a software engineer with this course. a surplus is that you can network a lot with propulsion academy and it's leaders.

It's a tough program and if you are a beginner, make sure you are well prepared. It was a very busy time for me at Propulsion, but also very rewarding. 3 month after the bootcamp I found a company to do an internship... 

I studied Engineering and had some experience with coding and algorithmic. Propulsion Academy was a great start into Web-Development and Requirements Engineering. You are surrounded by many highly motivated people from diverse backgrounds, all striving to learn and get better.There are so many things to take away from here which have benefitted me in my current career as Fullstack Software Engineer.

I completed the Full Stack Developer course at Propulsion Academy from May to July 2020. I was looking for a place to assist in my desire to quickly transition my career path to one based in Technology, and Propulsion Academy was exactly what I needed to do that. The Full-Stack course coverage of JavaScript, React, Redux, Python, DjangoDRF, and Docker was able to get me a very sound fundamental understanding of how to use these tools. The instructors and teaching assistants were competent and understanding with any and all questions I had about material and assignments. The staff's ability to adapt to the ever-changing landscape due to Covid restrictions on in-person learning was also to be commended. Overall I cannot speak highly enough of the team and program at Propulsion Academy, they helped me to achieve one of my life-long desires.

Considering you have never worked in IT before, what do you imagine when you hear "Fullstack Web Developer"? Well, I can tell you that for me it just sounded very sophisticated. I always thought that this field of expertise would be too difficult to learn. During Covid however, I decided to do a career change, cause I wanted a new challenge. I heard about Propulsion Academy from a friend. What caught my eye, was the short duration of the course and the material that would be covered. In my head I thought, if the promise of learning Python, Javascript, Django, React etc... in 3 months is true, I have to grab this opportunity. What surprised me as well, was the fact that any person could start this course even without any prior experience in coding. I think this offers a great opportunity for all the people like me that need a "loophole" to get into a new business. The past 3 months were, exciting, intense and mind-challenging at the same time. That's why one needs a lot of self discipline, especially because the working days are quite long. What I liked a lot, was working in a team and exchanging study content. I feel this was a major factor that contributed in staying motivated. Furthermore, I cherished the help from the instructors a lot. Their patience made me always feel welcomed to ask any questions I had in mind. Something that was missing in my opinion, was the face to face contact with the students, which wasn't possible because of Covid. Despite that, the used communication tools were very helpful. I would recommend this class for any person that is motivated to do a quick career change in a short period of time, with not necessarily being experienced in IT, but in the end having the benefit of learning a lot. Definitely a great opportunity!

I was interested in Coding before I applied at Propulsion Academy and I was learning constantly but slowly. This suddenly changed when the preparation work and then the full stack web development program itself started: laser focused on the program, I believe I can say that I've never learned so much in such a short period of time (12 weeks) and had so much fun at the same time. Learning at Propulsion is really hands-on and a good mix between theory and coding. The program helped me learn the essentials I needed to land my first job as a full stack developer! 

Taking the Full-Stack Web Development course in Propulsion Academy was the best choice I made since coming to Switzerland. Everything about Propulsion Academy is amazing! The school provides an ideal environment for its students. Not only the teachers but all the staff is excellent and they are there 100% for you. With no previous experience, I wanted to start programming to change my career path, as I needed something more exciting and also allowing me to be creative. Before that I was an accountant. I then joined and completed the Full-Stack bootcamp in April 2019.During the bootcamp I sometimes felt overwhelmed by everything that had to be learned. But this was actually necessary to get the big picture and in retrospective, it was done really well.I enjoyed the atmosphere during the bootcamp, staying late and coding away with some other hard-working students and playing lots of ping-pong to free my mind.Education wise, these were the hardest, but also most rewarding 3 months of my life. If you want to become a developer, this bootcamp is a great way to do it.

I completed the full-stack program in November 2019, I then found a job at a very promising start-up who were impressed with my skills. The course was very professional, I learnt 10x of what my previous software internship taught me, and I made good friends that I will probably keep for life. I really cannot recommend this course and Propulsion Academy enough!

I work in IT for few years and I did several bootcamp in Europe, this one is the most intense. It means being 100% involved, work a lot, but at the end we have a really good level regarding popular stack (Docker, CI/CD, React, Django, RESTful API ...)

I attended the Full-stack programme at Propulsion from September to end of November 2019. Got a full time job as Software Developer in mid-December. The course is challenging as it is REALLY fast-paced. I had some coding experience before the bootcamp and had a hard time to submit the bonus exercises before midnight each day. I learned a lot though, had a lot of fun and met great people from all sort of backgrounds and nationalities who have become good friends. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t hesitate.

After 10+ years in the service sector, I started developed an interest in software and was looking for a ways to get started. I started with self-study, but after countless hours of battling through it all, I decided to join the 12-week full-stack program to give me a final kick to up my skills and break into the tech industry. This was a game-changing decision. Propulsion Academy’s fast paced learning environment and highly focused industry curriculum enabled me to cover a vast amount of ground that I would have not been able to cover on my own in such a short time frame. The teachers and staff were fully invested in ensuring that everyone got the most out of the program and created a very encouraging learning environment. I really appreciated closing out the program with a real project from industry, something that I could showcase to future employers during the job search.
