 The Software Engineering program is still evolving; while you'll encounter some valuable learning experiences, certain concepts may not be communicated clearly. The community is somewhat lacking, and the environment isn’t particularly welcoming. Some staff can be pushy and unprofessional, especially regarding referrals. This bootcamp is best suited for those who are independent learners and can handle a bit of pressure. 

If you are thinking of switching careers and using a bootcamp to help you do so, TripleTen is truly an outstanding place to do so. A little history about me: I earned my degree in Animation in a place where very few opportunities for that were available, and the school didn't do it's due diligence in assuring the few of us that took that course were prepared for the competitive market in that field. I was lost, so I turned to Teaching. I got my Masters in Education, so I could become an Art Teacher, and quickly realized that was NOT the route for me. So I thought about what I'm passionate about: Art, Design, and Technology. I started looking into careers that could incorporate these ideas, and soon found TripleTen. I was skeptical at first, as you should be when researching online alternate forms of education, but soon realized TripleTen was legit. A very informative conversation with one of their Admissions Advisors, Jake, gave me a great understanding of what the bootcamp consisted of and what I could expect. I was drawn in at the amount of assistance they provide when it comes to actually achieving a job. The months since have been amazing. The learning is very hands on, with videos, examples, and even outside sources they link that can help you spend extra time practicing if you need it. They have one on one tutoring sessions available, and group sessions constantly. There are many tutors and assistants that are available for any questions you may have, and even an adorable AI assistant called Dot that is actually very useful. If you are thinking about going into Software Development, TripleTen is a very reliable source in looking towards the future.

I am closing in on completing my software engineering program at TripleTen, and it's counted among the most gratifying educational experiences I've been fortunate to have. With its flexible learning schedule and super-quality support system, this program has been put together to support students from fairly different levels in their respective backgrounds and commitments. In this review, I will show you what made my experience at TripleTen a five-star one, emphasizing the flexibility of the program that enabled me to learn at my own pace amidst other responsibilities.The Flexibility in This ProgramThe main good attraction at TripleTen is its flexibility. Because of my combination of commitments, including the other studies I'm trying to finish, I was seeking specific learning opportunities in a program suited to my schedule. In this respect, the self-paced structure of the TripleTen was precisely what I wanted. Unlike traditional educational approaches, where you generally get stuck into rigid class schedules, TripleTen grants you the freedom to learn at your pace with accountability through deadlines.It is expected to take ten to twelve months to finish any tested course; however, how swiftly you take through-The material is entirely up to you. This has helped me a lot because there are weeks in which I had ample time to devote totally to studies and could complete multiple modules, whereas there would be other times when I was too busy to do so, and I had to take it slow. Well, there are no penalties for making your pace slow. 

I am writing this review halfway through my journey at TripleTen in their Software Engineering program! I'm pleased to say how amazed I am by this experience, and my enthusiasm to continue learning and tackling the next chapter or project they provide is growing every day.  A bit of background about me: I’ve always loved tech and wanted to get into it. I graduated from university with a business degree but wasn’t happy with where I was. At 31 years old, I decided to try this bootcamp after carefully researching it and other options. I had previously tried another program, but it wasn’t what I had envisioned—it was mostly slideshow after slideshow, which is not how I learn best.  TripleTen, however, has been the complete opposite! It's very hands-on. Not only is the program well-organized, but they also provide all the materials you need. There are so many great resources, including videos, daily tutoring, and fun activities to help meet new people and make connections. I couldn’t be happier. I started with no knowledge of software engineering, and they’ve really helped me grasp the material through notes and tools.  I’m always excited to finish each sprint or chapter so I can test my skills in the projects and see everything come to life. TripleTen is fully online, allowing you to go at your own pace, which is super helpful when juggling work and kids. I’m just grateful this bootcamp exists because it’s exactly what I needed for a career change. I can’t wait to finish the program and stay in touch with the great people I’ve met along the way. Im also really excited to learn about their career support! I heard really great things from pervious students!  If you’re hesitant about starting, there’s no time like the present. I promise you won’t regret it. 

I took on the TripleTen bootcamp to learn what it meant to be a Software Engineer and explore a shift in my career path. Months in and I'm happy I decided to sign up. The tutors and guides really want you to succeed and make themselves available on a daily basis to answer questions, provide feedback, or really to help you in any way they can. The lesson plans are clearly defined and offer in depth practice for each language you'll be exposed to. The deadlines for finishing a Sprint (2 week lesson plan) are always clearly shown and your Success Manager will check in to be sure you're still on track to finishing and offer support if you need more time or have questions. All in all, I'm really impressed by the coursework and am appreciative of the tutors for their help so far. I'd definitely recommend TripleTen to friends if they show interest in learning code!

I've always been fascinated by computers and technology and really wanted to get into programming from a young age. A friend of mine got me back into programming and I decided to try bootcamps because they are objectively better than colleges if you plan to pursue a career in software. When I found TripleTen I honestly didn't believe their claims of jobs, coaching, and real-world experience. But it looked promising enough. So, I did a TON of research and found out it was actually true and wasn't just lies like so many bootcamps out there. I have been attending since early January and I am currently 72% done with the program as of early July. I've tried many different methods to learn coding in the past, but TripleTen is the only one that actually makes learning comprehensible. They have a Discord with a lot of support and also tutors to help you when you get stuck. They have amazing payment options, they give you loads of information on job finding, they have mock interviews, an amazing support staff, and tell you how to prepare for technical interviews. The projects they provide help you learn loads of real-world skills, and to top it all off they have externships to make getting a job that much easier. All in all, I highly recommend TripleTen. 

I've been working unfulfilling and underpaid jobs for the past 16 years, but I wanted to make a change. One thing I've learned in this course is that even though I don't have a college degree, I'll still be able to find a good job with a good salary. My best friend started the TripleTen software engineering course, and he only had good things to say, so I decided to give it a shot as well. They have different payment options available, so you can choose what works for you (my friend is doing monthly installments, while I paid upfront). In all honesty, it has really exceeded my expectations! The content is very thorough, and I feel comfortable with how everything is presented. There's also a tiny bit of humor that runs through the course, which I really like. It's broken up into a series of sprints, each containing chapters about increasingly complex topics, followed by a project at the end of each sprint. I was expecting to just learn some programming languages and a lot of syntax, but there's actually a lot of math involved too. If you like playing with numbers, then you shouldn't have too much trouble. I would highly recommend this course for anyone who feels like their career has stagnated or is looking for something more secure, since tech isn't going away any time soon. 

 The TripleTen Software Engineer Bootcamp has been a transformative experience for me. I entered with a desire to learn and left with the skills, confidence, and connections needed to launch a successful career in software engineering.  I got an advertisement for TripleTen on my computer at an opportune time in my life, I had just been fired from my job and I had no income I had just completed my UX Design course on Coursera but wasn't getting any interviews or phone calls based off of the portfolio I provided. When I got an ad for TripleTen's bootcamp I thought that I could beef up my software engineering skills and taken more seriously as a designer because with this bootcamp I could make a product start to finish from designing it to programming it to testing it (TripleTen giving me the skills to program). The bootcamp offers a software engineering course and flexible payment options to where I and others could pay what was possible, or defer our payments to the end of the program. This was perfect for my situation, and I am grateful to TripleTen for giving me an opportunity like this when I didn't know what to do next. Although I struggle with the curriculum as it is very different than me learning front end engineering in the past, I can get ample help through many different means through 1-1 tutor sessions, public tutor office hours, a question channel for the sprint I am working on, and coworking sessions with other students. I never really feel truly stuck because I use all of the resources available to me. When I have mental health concerns my success manager Daria helps me out and gets me through my current mental block so I can continue my work. I really feel like I have a friend to help me that isn't just my success manager but someone that actually cares about my wellbeing and not just my school performance which is invaluable and you wouldn't get with a normal bootcamp that doesn't have this support. The website, and the way the curriculum is structured needs work but TripleTen is constantly improving the website and listening to the complaints and concerns of students, this is why I gave the curriculum three stars I feel like the curriculum itself can be improved but I am not sure how. The instructors are helpful, but I struggle in code review. I love that after each project your sprints get reviewed by an actual person but the reviewers can be vague which makes review take longer, and when you are going through multiple iterations of  reviews that take several hours I have had to extend my deadline a few times, this is why I gave the instructors a four star because of the reviewers. The job assistance program is really something that shines in this program, and is different than everything I have experienced with other schools. TripleTen guarantees employment, or they will refund your tuition and they boast an over 80% success rate. There are career talks and tips that the career managers give that will help you with your resume and you get to talk to other alumni. In the end, I also want to highlight the ambassadorship program which you might not know about. I became an ambassador to be a representative for women in tech and help people that were in situations similar to me. In the ambassadorship, you get to create content that you like with some guidelines of content that you could do. All for the benefit of getting people into tech, how cool is that? I like the ambassadorship because I get to mingle with ambassadors from other programs and collaborate with them. It's a great way to make connections with people in other programs and your own. There's a lot of support from the ambassadors themselves and the success managers that help run the program so even if you're new to social media it is not that difficult to start. I believe I have covered everything that I can about this bootcamp and I hope that this review would be of help to anyone considering TripleTen or looking into tech bootcamps for a loved one. QUICK BACKGROUND: I decided to pursue software engineering as my career in life while graduation was coming close, I had chosen software engineering since I've always liked Engineering as a whole and had fun learning math, and my background in tech was slightly better than any average person, but was always fascinated with new technology like phones, electric cars, robots, etc. especially now with the rise in technology, knowing how to program seems best convenient. I had started University in my native country, but once I moved to the US I had to drop out and start to work to help with my family, I still wanted to pursue my career in software so I was looking in every way possible and found Tripleten.Tripleten was one of the many boot camps I found, but what made it different from the rest at least for me was the guarantee of a Job after graduation and if not money return, especially in my case where the money had to be well spent and no time wasted Triplteten, at first sight, seemed the perfect fit, after the first few weeks I was able to implement my study time with work, tripleten has its course set so you can study on your time which helped a lot with my current job, I would spend around 20-30 hours of study every week. We communicate through Discord where we can find our tutor to help us with the projects, the projects are the most essential part of learning at least for me because I learn the most by doing, you can repeat concepts all you want but doing them is very different, and the projects are the base of all my knowledge of software engineering. The projects up until the sprint I'm in now, have mainly been about website building with HTML, CSS, and javascript, as of now I have way more grasp on what being a software engineer is and this Bootcamp has also helped me in vision my future personal projects even better now. My advice if you take Tripleten is to separate a good portion of your time in the week for the study time, organize your schedule, and don't let anything overwhelm you, your tutors are more than happy to help in Discord.

 My name is Dmitriy, and for the past 7 years I have been working as an automotive locksmith fulltime. Long days at work in cold and in heat had tolls on my health and mental wellbeing. I knew I wanted to and could do more with my life, while also being able to spend time with my family. The only regret I have about joining Triple Ten bootcamp is that I didn’t join it sooner, and only did it after losing my job. The material provided is really engaging and presented in a way that’s very easy to follow and comprehend. They really focus on fundamentals and want to make sure you understand what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. The learning process is organized in sprints, each sprint is 2 weeks long, but you can finish it faster, depending on how many hours a day you spend studying. I made it my goal to become a software engineer in 6 months, so I take my studying as a full time job. I spend on average 8 hours a day, but of course everyone has their own pace, as long as you finish your sprint project by the due date. In 2 months, I feel very confident in my HTML and CSS skills, my JavaScript is solid as well, and I’m just starting to feel the waters of React.  Throughout the sprints, there’s chapters dedicated to career planning. They talk about how to properly set up your social media accounts, GitHub and LinkedIn, to get a job after the bootcamp. They also have biweekly 1on1 meeting with your advisor to discuss your progress and keep you motivated. Their discord channel is an incredible source of information, you can find help there at any point, as well as meet other people at events like monthly hackathons, study buddy program, coffee hour, and co-working sessions that are held regularly. Overall, I feel like this is the best thing that could have happened to me, a community dedicated to help you thrive and also one of the best things I forgot to mention, is the payment plan. There’s an option for any situation out there, I chose the pay-after-hired option, and only payed a small down payment, and would only have to pay after being hired in 6 month or less after graduation, otherwise I receive my down payment back! It’s basically risk free! 

I started my journey with TripleTen a couple of months ago, and I must say that I'm very pleased with everything they offer. The study material is highly structured, and the hands-on projects are engaging. Personally, I'd love to highlight the community aspect you experience when enrolling in the bootcamp: the tutors do an amazing job and go beyond to answer your questions, while the success managers really help you to stay on track and provide support.
I'm happy with all the activities that TripleTen offers: career webinars, code jams, coworking sessions, and study buddies. Thanks to all of these, I feel fully immersed in the school. Before, I tried taking self-paced courses, but I always missed the sense of community. I think surrounding yourself with people who share your ideas is very important on a career journey.In my view, one area for improvement lies in incorporating more screencasts alongside the theoretical content. Occasionally, when there are no video explanations available, navigating through extensive paragraphs can be challenging without visual demonstrations of practical application.

 Hello! If you are reading this, then you are a potential coder of TripleTen software boot camp! Welcome! My name is Erin McCarty. I am a single mother of two children, who are my absolute entire world. I've been a dental assistant for going on now the past ten years. I feel capped in my position with no room for financial growth. Huge problem for me! I'm ready for a change! Right now, my long-term goal is to completely switch career fields. I'm blessed to be able to work as a dental assistant part-time. Since I feel that I am a full-time student at TripleTen. Technically, this is a part-time program all done online. With dedicating 5 hrs a day five days a week gives a total of 20 hours a week. I am currently in the software engineering coding boot camp. TripleTen not only offers software engineering, but other programs as well. TripleTen offers programs in Data Analytics, Data Science, and Quality Assurance. There is a personality quiz that you can take to help place you in the best-suggested program. When I am finished with the program, then I will be considered a Full Stack Web Developer. To be considered a "Full Stack Developer", an individual needs to have knowledge & training in both, front-end and back-end software engineering. The starting salary for this field is 80k with room for financial growth. I do believe, that once a student is fully trained in front-end engineering, they can start to seek a job position in the field. Front-end engineers have a starting salary average of 50k plus. These positions normally include full-time benefits, as well as, job perks. Not bad! TripleTen has a very strong, all-a-round, support program. Especially with their accelerated career program. Any potential student can use an opportunity to join AMA meetings with a career coach to help get questions answered regarding the job search.  In respect of organized time management, it is asked that the team members come to the meeting prepared with questions and topics to discuss. After a student finishes the program, they can take part in the Career Acceleration program. This part of the program specializes in career coaches to help students prepare resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn, and GitHub pages.  This is a time when coaches can specialize with graduates. Career coaches help specialize in guiding successful students to create a strong profile for themselves.  This is to help make themselves shine for potential career opportunities. For example, showing off and documenting newly high-tech skills learned, or projects that were created from complete scratch.  Externships are offered. However, participation in externing starts once the students have completed Sprint 10. There are a total of 15 Sprints that take roughly 2-3 weeks to complete. Don't worry if you need more time. The program is very understanding and generous in regards to extending timelines. The best way to explain Sprint work is like working through modules or chapters. The Sprints help you complete your way through the program. First, you will learn HTML and CSS. Once you are trained with HTML and CSS, then you are considered a "front-end engineer".  Next, you will start learning how to code using Javascript. Which is pretty much-adding functionality to your webpage. For example, clicking on links, opening & closing pop-ups, and creating forms for users to fill out whatever personal information that might be needed. Also, creating & using a save or submit button. At the end of each Sprint, there is a project. Don't worry, the program walks you through it. Usually, your project will start from scratch. Then, the student builds to it during each sprint and adds on to the project at the end of each Sprint. This program has been extremely intense, but yet rewarding at the same time. The platform we use to communicate is called Discord. I like Discord because it gives us a platform to be able to communicate with other students, teachers, tutors, and career coaches. TripleTen coding bootcamp offers what is called "office hours".  Office hours are for when students can join together on a Zoom meeting to discuss their current a like studies.  Office hours are good to attend if you are dealing with similar situations or difficulties that other students are also experiencing. They are also good to attend just for fun to help with learning and understanding. Students can also come together to discuss and collaborate on helping each other get through different individual struggles.  Using Discord as our platform gives us an easy way to share our thoughts, feelings, and frustrations. Students also enjoy sharing new codes to use to help. It is really fun to be able to share new tips and tricks with codes that we are learning along the way. It is great to have a strong community where everyone comes together. Even beginner students try to help newer struggling students get through any roadblocks. It's a great way to network and communicate. Learning to code is a lot like learning a new language. It reminds me of when I learned how to speak Spanish. First, I had to listen to the language over and over again. Hearing the language repetitively and consistently helped a lot with learning to understand. Once I could listen and understand, then I learned how to read and write the language. The last thing I remember learning was verbally speaking the language. It's most definitely constant, endless learning. Even once you are fluent, there are still new things to learn about the language.  Which is a wonderful thing, because it means there is room for constant growth. Personally, learning Spanish has been a lot like coding. It takes lots of practice. Even after years of practicing, I will still be learning new things. This is important for me mentally, because it keeps my mind growing with learning new things. I am currently bored as a dental assistant because there is only so much to learn as an assistant. As well as, financially. So, with this program, I have found the change I needed.  I feel there is endless learning with coding and endless amounts of dollars to be made. Thank you TripleTen for accepting me into this program! I am determined to help find the courage, self-discipline, and perseverance I need to give myself push through and finish the program. There is an overall 87% successful hire rate after finishing. I am certain I will be a part of that 87%! 

I'm currently enrolled in TripleTen's software engineering bootcamp and I have no complaints.  So, to start from the beginning I decided to start learning Software Engineering for a few reasons.  I originally graduated from SUNY Oneonta which is a New York State University and got my bachelors in Business Administration.  After graduating with this degree I started looking for jobs.  I applied on LinkedIn, on company websites, and reached out to friends but in the end after months and months of searching I got no replies to jobs I wanted.  The only jobs that would answer me were door to door sales jobs but being the quiet person I am, that was not for me at all.  So I then started to work at my neighbor's construction company and after working there for a few months of long hours and 60+ hour weeks I decided I needed a change. I began researching for new careers that I found appealing.  I had many different thoughts on potential careers and at the end the career that made the most sense for me was software engineering.  The reason software engineering was my top pick was because of how flexible some software engineering jobs can be.  Also, when I came across it I found it to be kind of like a puzzle and I’ve always been a big fan of puzzles whether it is playing sudoku or solving a Rubik's cube.  After researching different ways on which I can potentially become a software engineer.  I stumbled across bootcamps and after examining many thoroughly I found TripleTen.  What stood out to me with TripleTen was how they provide externships and the reviews were outstanding.  The fact that TripleTen provides externships alone is a key factor as to why I decided to join.  Every other boot camp I found didn’t offer anything close to it.While enrolled in TripleTen and working pretty much a full-time job sometimes it can be challenging to balance it all when working on a hard project.  However, once you get in the groove of things it isn’t too bad.  What I like to do during weekdays after work is to try to get in two to three hours of studying or just something related to what I am learning at the time, whether it is a side project, researching, or watching youtube videos.  Then on weekends or if I am off from work I like to spend upwards of four hours studying or working on a project.  What I found works for days when I am going to be coding for a while is I like to take breaks and do something productive after maybe an hour of studying like go for a walk, cook something, or workout.    In total I like to try to aim for 15-20 hours of studying per week.  Also, the good thing about TripleTen is the fact that if you are falling behind for any reason they allow you to take time off of the course.  I have taken a couple breaks off of the course.  One was for a vacation and another was to work on some projects on the side and look back at what I have learned in the previous lesson.  I think TripleTen has many features that greatly benefit its students.  For example, the tutors, the discord, the success managers, code review, and the projects.  The tutors are great as you can schedule biweekly tutoring sessions to either help with projects or with any material you are struggling with and let me tell you they are way more helpful than I would’ve thought.  Some tutors also hold office hours which is a scheduled time per week when anyone can join and pop in and out to ask questions.  They also have these like 1-5 times a day on average which is amazing.  Also, the discord is a great help.  Sometimes when I am working on a project I have trouble with some of the work and I send in anyone's questions in discord and either a tutor will answer or a student will answer pretty quickly.  The discord is also good for just chatting about anything with other students.  If you join TripleTen you will also be assigned a success manager who helps keep you on pace with the work assigned.  They are the person who you go to if you need to request an extension or a break and it really helps to make the learning experience smoother having all these sources or help.  The code reviewers have helped me on every project.  Once you submit your project the code reviewers will make notes in your code for areas to improve or areas that need to be changed which is a huge help.  Lastly, the projects are a great time.  When working on the projects it is the coolest experience seeing yourself build entire websites that you would;ve never thought you would be able to do.  I believe that TripleTen has helped a huge amount with my goals of becoming a software engineer with these features.  They even offer career help where they guide you on how to build your LinkedIn and how to basically reach out for jobs and eventually how to take an interview to land those jobs.Some tips I would give to someone who is new and just starting their coding journey I would definitely make sure that it is something that you can see yourself doing.  For people that want to take this path I would definitely recommend the TripleTens software engineer course.  I have been very surprised with all that the bootcamp offers, especially at its cheap price.  Before purchasing the course I would first recommend that you talk to someone on the phone about the course to get a better understanding before fully committing to it.

After graduating from University, I spent 9 years as a Web Developer then went on a hiatus and became a stay at home mum. I am now looking to return to the tech workforce so I started looking for online bootcamps to boost my confidence, refresh my skills, learn something new and motivate me to get back into it! TripleTen was the perfect fit. The highlights of the Software Engineering course that attracted me the most are the following:It is fully remote and self-pacedI was able to allow my studies to work around my hectic schedule. Background:As a freshman in college, i took a course titled, "algorithmic thinking and programming," which sparked my interest in programming and software engineering. Unfortunately, this was second semester, and i was concerned that if i switched majors to computer science, i was would be behind the other students & ultimately graduate late. I refrained from making the switch, but my passion for SWE lived on. As i rounded off my junior year, i realized that i was not going to be college student forever, and would have to join the workforce soon. This raised the question, what do i want to do for the rest of my life? My college major would only lead me to jobs that i would not enjoy. So, i began programming again. I read DSA books, made small JS HTML CSS & React projects by following tutorials on Youtube, and more. I knew that i was going to join a bootcamp following graduation, so i wanted to gain a little momentum. After graduation, i spent 8 months saving money before i decided to invest in Triple10's full stack web development program. Fast forward a couple months and I am nearing the end of the bootcamp! My experience so far has been great. The material is comprehensive and gives you directly applicable full stack job skills. No superfluous general education classes, like the ones you have to take in college, just dense and relevant material.
