I did this course after finishing a degree in Computer Science, I was looking for a way to accelerate my proficiency in web development quickly and jump to higher roles. Codeworks does an excellent job in making sure everyone has a strong baseline for coding and computer science principles before entry through their admissions process. This then allows them to take everyone from a good level to a great level quickly. Their curriculum covered a lot of the basics and fundamentals while also giving real and tangible skills for a professional role. The projects you do while on the course are excellent to demonstrate your skill and the tutor support which is always ready whenever you request it is excellent. Finally their process of preparing you for applying to roles in the field, getting your interview skills ready, CV looking clean and ready and finally a guide and process for applying to jobs makes it much easier to find a job even in a tough market.

I recently completed the Codeworks bootcamp, and I can confidently say that it was an incredibly enriching experience. The course is meticulously designed, starting with the fundamentals of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and progressively moving on to full-stack development using Node.js and popular frontend frameworks like Angular and React. The curriculum is well-crafted and ensures that by the end of the course, students are well-prepared to build robust, full-stack applications. One of the standout aspects of Codeworks is the instructor coordinator, Brent. He leads the teaching team with a clear and effective approach to instruction. Brent emphasizes problem-solving and self-reliance, which really pushes students to develop their critical thinking and coding skills. While the course is undeniably intense, Brent and the other instructors strike a perfect balance between encouraging independence and providing support. I had the pleasure of meeting with Brent a few times, and each interaction reinforced how dedicated and thoughtful the teaching approach at Codeworks is.The bootcamp is demanding, but students who come in with the right mindset—curiosity, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to step outside their comfort zones—will thrive. The only instances where I saw students struggle were when they weren't interested in challenging themselves beyond their existing knowledge. That said, even with my 10 years of coding experience, I found the bootcamp to be incredibly valuable. The environment at Codeworks is nothing short of inspiring. The positive atmosphere and the constant encouragement to tackle ambitious projects allowed me to grow in ways I never expected. The course is also great for beginners. Many in my cohort came in with little or no coding experience, and they thrived. The precourse material, completed as part of the application process, does an excellent job of teaching the fundamentals of JavaScript. We also spent the first few days of the bootcamp recapping this material in more detail, providing a solid foundation from which to build for the rest of the course. This approach makes the course approachable for beginners while still being challenging enough for those with more experience. At Codeworks, students also create their own projects, entirely led by themselves, which allows them to build incredible full-stack applications to add to their portfolios. These projects push their skills to a level that truly sets them apart. The experience of working on these projects closely mimics the environments developers encounter every day in the workplace, providing invaluable real-world experience. Moreover, Codeworks sets you up brilliantly to enter employment afterward if you wish to get a job in computer science. Maria runs the careers department and is available to help Codeworks alumni long after graduation. The structure of the course lends itself toward employment. Students cover the main tasks that junior developers will encounter in the workforce, making them far more attractive to employers. Not only do they develop strong individual coding abilities, but they also gain skills in writing tests and collaborating within a team on projects using industry-standard tools such as Git and GitHub. This knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies, as well as proficiency with versioning tools, makes Codeworks graduates particularly attractive to potential employers. In the final week, Codeworks prepares students for job hunting, helping them get ready to enter the job market. Maria assists students in finding resources in their area for job postings and supports each student in crafting the perfect CV, LinkedIn profile, and GitHub. By the end of the week, each student leaves Codeworks with a finely crafted professional persona, ready to apply for a wide range of coding-related jobs. After graduation, students can choose to participate in weekly group calls to support their job search, and Maria is more than happy to do one-on-one calls when needed. The community built by the students and staff at Codeworks is outstanding. Every student learns from one another and pushes each other to get the best out of themselves. Rather than competing against one another, the students work together, exchanging ideas and knowledge. This sense of community and the drive to build everyone up creates an incredibly supportive atmosphere to enter every day. The same is true of the teacher-student relationship. It’s far more of a mentorship role than that of a typical teacher. By not even the end of the course, more like halfway through, we all felt that the staff on the course were friends and mentors. Rather than just having teachers, I now feel like I have a set of mentors who I can turn to even after finishing the course. It’s great being able to chat with them and exchange ideas and knowledge. They all have incredible depths of knowledge to draw from, and their insights are invaluable.I would recommend being in-person if at all possible, as it helps develop this relationship with the staff and fellow students, and I think these relationships are the most valuable part of the course. I was on the London campus, and it was an incredible experience. We interacted with the other campuses and remote students every day. The remote students are also incredibly well supported and had a great time, but a few admitted that they wished they had chosen to join one of the campuses. They could see how much it helped us to have a physical space and surrounding ourselves with other students and staff added another dimension to our experience. In summary, Codeworks is more than just a coding bootcamp—it’s a transformative experience. Whether you’re a beginner or have years of experience like myself, you’ll find the curriculum, the instructors, and the overall environment to be top-notch. I highly recommend Codeworks to anyone looking to take their coding skills to the next level, build strong professional relationships, and set themselves up for a successful career in tech.

Codeworks was the best places I could have chosen in Berlin. It was an intense experience to spent that much time on studying, but it really paid off with all the great knowledge I could gather.
Graduate 2024
Its a high intensive program, but it pays the effort in the end. You learn, if you put the work. I think it prepares you well to face the job market and the career support is great! The amount of new subject and the projects! The instructors are good and give all the support you need, without making it easy for you.In the end you really feel tired from all the effort.

I joined Codeworks to pursue my dream of becoming a Software Engineer. I made a thorough research, and inspected curriculums of the bootcamps that were available in Germany. The one of Codeworks turned out to be the most extensive, and I chose Codeworks. In order to be admitted you need to prepare and pass a technical interview, which is not easy. Learning at Codeworks was very challenging, hard, but rewarding. I couldn’t believe how much I learned in just 3 months. I landed a job in a month after completing the course, and my interviewers were surprised how much a fresh graduate knows. I recommend Codeworks because they know what they are doing, you just need to trust them and work hard, absorbing all this wisdom.
Graduate 2024
I attended Codeworks in the February 2024 cohort, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Before joining, I had recently graduated with a degree in computer science, and I believe this background helped me get the most out of the course. What I liked most about Codeworks is that, despite the intense and demanding schedule, I never felt overwhelmed. This is because you have full control over managing your time. They give you exercises to work on, and you’re free to approach them however you prefer, setting your own pace until the deadline.
While I had some coding experience, I don’t think it's necessary for those joining to have a background in coding. One of the best aspects of Codeworks is that the curriculum offers a learning curve for everyone. You have the opportunity to dive deeper into each topic, so whether you're already familiar with the subject or not, there's always something new to learn.
In conclusion, Codeworks was an excellent way for me to solidify my knowledge and served as a great transition from the academic world to the professional world.

I really enjoyed my time at Codeworks. The instructors and classmates were great and the curriculum was extensive. Looking back at the end of the course at everything we covered, it really is quite surprising how much you can learn in a short time. It did take me a while to find work after the course, but the things I learned during my time put me in a great position to be immediately productive in my new employment. I will mention though that I did have prior programming experience (as a hobby), so I was already familiar with a lot of concepts and techniques, which no doubt helped. But don't let that put you off as there were plenty of people in my cohort who had never done any programming before and still succeeded.I am glad I attended Codeworks as it gave me the step up I needed to change "career". However, be prepared for A LOT of work! Minimum twelve hour days, plus you may stay late to continue learning, which you most likely will want to do. It pays off, though! The post-course career advice was also useful. I probably wouldn't have found work when I did if not for the advice I received.

I had a wonderful experience at Codeworks. The instructors are great and I levelled up my skillset big time there. They push you to your limits and every student who enters leaves the bootcamp with a much more valuable skillset. The most valuable part of the camp for me was all of the hands on support and the assurance that you're focusing on the most recent and most valuable skills. I would definitely recommend Codeworks to anyone.

My experience at Codeworks Bootcamp was intense but incredibly rewarding. It provided the immersive experience I was seeking. While the onus was on me to put in the hard work, Codeworks provided invaluable support and gave me the tools to continue learning and improving my skills. The post-bootcamp support in finding a job was crucial and greatly aided my career change. Overall, despite the challenges, Codeworks played a significant role in my journey.
Graduate 2023
It's probably the toughest bootcamp to get into, as well as one of the most demanding ones once you're in. However, because of the entry requirements the level of people that you work with is top notch. You graduate with the equivalent of 3 years of experience even though it's only 3 months long, and receive some stellar support to structure your job hunt.
Graduate 2024
This is a very intense, but full of impactful results coding bootcamp. The course I took lasts for 12 weeks, divided in to chunks of 6 weeks. For me the highlights of Codeworks are:
Very dedicated instructors, always eager to solve issues and roadblocks, while allowing you to grow
Well curated program and schedule
Encouragement for growing in soft skills, such as presentations.
Strong emphasis on team work and pair programming
Constant upgrades to stay up to the latest technologies
Top notch career coaching after completion. You are given a very useful set of tools and mindset training for job search and negotiating offers. You need to report weekly on your progress
Attending this bootcamp means working hard from Monday to Saturday for 12 weeks, with a break in the middle. So you need to make space for it in your life, but once you start I think it's easy to flow and just follow the program. I recommend 100%
Graduate 2023
Having no experience on Bootcamp than Codeworks I cant say “It’s not any other Bootcamp out there” but having heard about other Bootcamp from their student I can say that Codeworks is intense compared to other Bootcamps. Their pre course work alone is very challenging making it quite difficult to get admitted but having said this, they offer enough materials and support for aspiring student to be able to finish the pre course even without prior experience or knowledge.
I would recommend doing it in person rather than remote but thats just personal preference as it can be done fully remote. I personally enjoy doing and learning things on my own but instructors are very supportive when you need them. The course materials are informative though some are not up-to-date the instructors covers that by explaining the topic further and giving more real life examples when needed.
The job support that Codeworks offers is one of, if not, the best out there. It is one of the main reasons why I chose to attend Codeworks. This is certainly one of the things that they got correctly. Not only with the weekly calls but also being available when you need a one-on-one session.
Student 2023
I highly recommend this bootcamp. It's a unique experience where you'll learn advanced JavaScript concepts from day to night, and how to initiate projects with renowned frameworks. The instructors are well-prepared, and the daily schedule is structured so that you spend nearly 10 hours a day programming, in addition to the daily theoretical sessions you'll attend. They take tracking your progress very seriously. Every week, I've been able to review the state of my applications with my tutor, and finding a job has been much simpler and quicker than I expected. You truly come out prepared to face the technical tests and interviews required when job hunting.
