SheCodes Basics

A great workshop, lets you work at your own pace if you're having to work around your life to finish it. Matt explains everything well and provides a lot of external sources to look at to do more research. I'd consider changing my career to coding in the future if my life leads me there, for now it's good to have the basic knowledge!

I found this workshop super enjoyable! I had zero coding experience before I signed up to SheCodes. The teaching material is organised in a really intuitive way which, in my opinion, allows users of all experience levels to engage successfully with the topic. It becomes apparent very quickly, once you begin the tutorials, that Matt is not only a very experienced coder, but a very competent teacher too. No regrets! This was a great investment in my personal development and I can't wait to begin the next workshop!

I highly recommend SheCodes workshops and signing up to SheCodes is the best thing I could have done for my personal and professional development. It opens up new possibilities and one's perception of what is possible in the world of tech.It is an incredibly supportive hub for female newbie coders, building up their resilience, problem-solving skills and understandably, tech skills. I am currently attending the SheCodes Plus and I am still as excited as I was when I first started or perhaps, even more. It is incredibly exciting for a non-tech person to watch the software change following one's input!  So if you are intrigued about the world of coding and want to change your profession, like me, then go for it💪     

This coding workshop was great! The layout of the lessons, homework and project were really manageable and definitely kept me engaged! I enjoyed the pace as it was not overwhelming. This workshop has definitely made me more interested in code!

 I learned so much in this quick and fun course - I couldn't stop once I started! The videos are super easy to follow and the support is always there if you need it as well. Matt does a great job guiding you through the beginner steps of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.  

Although I already had programming knowledge and I knew that I had been passionate about it for a long time, I had not found the time to give it a try until very recently (three weeks exactly haha). I can't be happier to have been on this adventure, and I like so much the community behind it, always ready to help each other. Today I start the next course with them, "SheCodes Plus", and I'm reeeeeeaally excited, as I was with the workshop!

I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop, truthfully, I am not a complete beginner to coding - so even for someone like me, I felt challenged and engaged the whole way through. Also, I must add how incredibly flexible this course is around a busy life! It was a great experience 🥰

SheCodes allowed me to discover the coding universe in a simple and fast way. Thanks to the instructor, now i know that this is a reachable goal. Can't wait to upgrade my skills and work in the tech industry!

One of the best online courses I have attended so far! Very well structured and with a clear explanation of each topic. Very enjoyable and has given me a great introduction to coding! Can't wait to continue my coding journey :)

SheCodes was the perfect program to begin learning how to code. The lessons were easy to follow along with and the challenges were reasonable. Coding doesn't seem so scary anymore and I feel confident enough to continue learning more.

Three weeks flew by, that's how much fun I was having coding. I truly enjoyed every minute of this workshop, many thanks to the overly supportive employees as well. Matt's videos are so easy to follow, he breaks them down into 8-12 minute short videos and then you get to practice with a challenge. The best part is that each wee challenge had something new that you have to figure out on your own. It's so incredible how this workshop can highlight your capabilities. The feeling you get when your code works is addicting. This is my first time coding, and I can't wait for the second chapter with SheCodes.

Would highly recommend this course to all the ladies out there interested in coding as a starting platform. The course is so well structured. It allows you to work with small bits which is both rewarding and easy to fit in the daily schedule. The videos are easy to follow and understandable. The weekly tasks are challenging enough to keep things interesting and fun :) 

I had a really great time in this workshop and it really thought me a lot! It’s really well organized and we are able to learn at our own pace. I absolutely recommend this to anyone who ever wants to get into coding because it’s a great experience.

As someone who has dyslexia, I thought it would be impossible for me to learn how to code. But with Shecodes, I was able to learn at my own pace and received support from tutors as well as fellow learning coders. I would recommend SheCodes to all.

Very simple and effective workshop for complete beginners. Breakdown of the lessons for each week is apt. The respective exercises and home works for each week and lessons is the highlight and just what you need to grasp the concept and understand it in action. Thankyou Matt for making it possible .
