I had tried to learn coding on many different platforms and felt like I was losing steam- until I joined SheCodes! As a busy mom with a full-time job, I don't have time for an intense full time bootcamp but I definitely needed a program with structure, deadlines, and a team ready to help. SheCodes fit that bill perfectly. I am excited to have turned in my Basics project and am quite proud of my work. I'm ready to embark onto the next workshop knowing my education is in good hands ♥️

I've gone from knowing nothing at all to building my own webpage and understanding simple code in a very short space of time. I'm excited for what's to come and to build on this base knowledge.

I had been thinking quite a lot about starting to learn how to code but didn't really get into it with the books and courses I had. Finding SheCodes was the best that could have happened to me. I so much enjoyed learning step by step the basics with the videos and challenges. Everything was easy to follow but still challenging. A great mix. This basic coding course is highly enjoyable and easy to follow. The video lectures provide a logical step by step guide to the topics and Matt's unique recordings provide a personal touch that is relatable and welcoming. Immediately being able to use your new knowledge and see the results feels very rewarding and satisfying, and encourages further research and learning.

I took the SheCodes Basic workshop and it was ag reat workshop. Very clear and easy to follow along. I feel like I gained a basic understanding of HTML, CSS & Javascript and can't wait to learn more during SheCodes Pro.

SheCodes is one of my favourite course that I had attended so far. It is amazing. It is good for beginners like me who has zero background knowledge of codes; HTML/ JS/ CSS. Matt did an excellent job in delivering the online class to us. I’m able to rewatch as many times as I can to get myself clear on the content of the particular curriculum. Backend staff serves me well too when I encountered issues on admin. Replies were fast and concise. Kudos to the team behind SheCodes! Stay safe and take care! P/s. I’m from Singapore and I really do enjoy this course. I decided to try the 3 week program because I wanted to understand coding, sure, this is just a small sample of everything that coding entails, but it was an amazing course!! Explaining it like learning a language really helped me take away the fear and intimidation behind the word “code” and made it fun, challenging and exciting!! I’m not sure if I’ll take the next courses, but I’m extremely grateful to this program for allowing me to see that if I wanted, I can continue, and that I can code!!! How awesome and exciting is it to say that?! At almost 42, I can code 🥰. I’m proud to show my daughter that, no matter what age or stage of life you’re in, you can always transform, learn and grow. Thank you SheCodes, for showing us that we can all code!   

I am so glad I opted to follow this path. I've been wanting to try coding since 2012 but life got in the way and I ended up in a job I didn't love. So... I quitted, and decided it was about time to inspect the pages of my life and correct the damn code. Now I feel I am in the right direction and I am looking forward for more.

I can’t remember the last time I was so engaged in learning. Being able to work at my own pace and schedule made the experience so much easier. I really do feel more confident in myself now that I’ve learned the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Can’t wait to explore more with my next workshop!

 I started this workshop with almost no coding knowledge. The feeling of finishing it, and being able to build a page from scratch, is very gratifying. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to start in the world of coding. 

 I enjoyed this course, it maked me feel more comfortable with coding and in pursuing a job on this. I will definetly recommend this workshop and continue learning more. 

I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to start their adventure with coding, but also to those who just need some practice ;-) Great worskshops, fantastic platform! Homework projects aren't just copy&paste, you need to learn how to think outside the box when looking for a solution.

The 3-week course provided me with just enough information for me to be able to work and communicate better with the dev team at my job. SheCodes lessons were not intimidating and Matt does a great job walking through every step and explaining WHY you would do something that way.

Intro to HTML, CSS, JavaScript. SheCodes is fantastic – Matt is a great teacher who keeps you engaged while moving at the perfect pace. I can't wait to move on to SheCodes Plus and the other more advanced courses they offer.

Are you hesitating? Definitely go for it! I was a coding newbie and wanted to discover what coding is all about. Other introduction courses I have followed turned out to be very abstract and complicated. But the SheCodes Basics course was super practical, easy to follow and a great introduction into coding and that was exactly what I was looking for!

SheCodes Basics is a fantastic introductory class to HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I learned so much in just 3 weeks! Each lesson was easy to follow, understand, and just enough content to focus on at one time. I would highly recommend it to other people. Matt is a great instructor and easy to understand for a beginner coder like myself.

I absolutely loved this workshop. Matt’s explanation of coding concepts are easy to follow and understand. He breaks down lessons into sizable chunks that are easy to absorb. I thought I would never be able to understand the concept of coding but after taking this workshop I was blown away by how much I learnt in just 3 weeks. The projects are fun and interesting as well, so every week I was looking forward to learning more and seeing what I could build from I learnt. It’s a very rewarding experience, so much so that I will continue to take all the next workshops! If you are just starting to learn coding this is the workshop you should consider.
