SheCodes Basics

I never ever thought about learning coding before, but out of curiosity enrolled the free class that made me want to explore more about coding and my ability.  I'm very pleased I have found SheCodes. I will join the Plus or React next ;) Thank you for the support from the team.

I have no coding experience whatsoever. But after taking the SheCodes Basics workshop I feel that I can create a basic website. SheCodes is really exciting and I cannot wait to take the advanced courses. I am looking to pursue a career change and I think SheCodes will help me do just that! SheCodes is great for those who have no experience because Matt teaches in such a wonderful way that any novice can understand!

Before SheCodes I tried to learn to code somewhere else, but there were no deadlines or assignments. I was not able to understand the material like I did with SheCodes. I really enjoyed doing the challenges and homework assignments!

The SheCodes Basics workshop was a great introduction to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript! The lessons are very easy to follow, and the challenges and assignments keep you engaged. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in coding!

I had so much fun and learned so much during this workshop! I already had some prior knowledge of HTML and CSS but this workshop really combined these languages perfectly for me. The SheCodes Basics workshop has been awesome, I really enjoyed learning the basics of how to create a landing page! The final project was lots of fun, having the freedom to choose your own topic and design. It provided a great feeling of accomplishment! 😊 Matt Delac is passionate about what he does and an excellent teacher, breaking down the workshop into understandable and well-structured bite-sized lessons! Keeps you interested and wanting to learn more! There is a great team of mentors to provide guidance if you get stuck. I highly recommend this course for anyone with no prior coding experience who wants to learn about Front-End Development. I cannot wait to continue with the next SheCodes Plus workshop! 😀

SheCodes was the perfect introduction for me to the world of coding. I've been interested for a while but never took the plunge, thinking learning code would take a university degree. The 3-week basics course was perfect for me to dip my toes in the water and I am excited for what's to come next! Thanks SheCodes team :)

A couple of months ago I started looking into different coding workshops. None of them really speak to me. In most cases it felt like I needed more coding knowledge than I originally had. But then I came across SheCodes and the way your company introduced yourself felt so accessible and welcoming. The modules have clear goals you work towards and the whole community around it is so supportive and fun!

The lessons are short but very detailed and full of useful points. And Matt is so experienced at teaching coding! I am so grateful that I took the basic course and I can't wait to start more advanced ones!

A great course for beginners! My HTML knowledge prior to SheCodes was limited to the most basic level. After finishing the workshop, I can now proudly say that I understand the fundamentals of web development, and I am truly excited to learn more.

This course was a lot of fun, it has helped me gain a basic understanding of the coding world. Parts are tricky but do not let that deter you, there is a lot to learn! I would recommend this programme to anyone who wants to learn and have fun doing so!I signed up for the SheCodes plus course straight after completing this one!!

I really enjoyed this workshop! Starting with zero coding knowledge, these courses were easy to follow and the online support system is an incredible tool. I can't wait to start the next workshop!

Loved this 3 week course! It was easy to learn thanks to Matt. I love to code now, it's pretty fun.

I learned programming many years ago, only I was never very motivated to learn as a teenager. So I actually forgot everything. Through my job in product marketing in a tech company, I realized that it would be fun to go in that direction again, and with SheCodes I can do that now. I find it great to meet like-minded women and exchange ideas with them. The presentation of the videos and the possibility to ask questions in the chat is great. And the best thing you can do it wherever and whenever you want in your own pace.

I have really enjoyed my first few weeks with SheCodes. The lessons are very easy to follow and the challenges add a good interactive component to test your understanding. I am really looking forward to continuing my coding journey with SheCodes!
