SheCodes Basics

This workshop is absolutely amazing. From the 3 week course I was able to understand something that I thought was impossible. Coding is my new passion now. Matt is a funny teacher and has a easy to understand teaching style. I 100% recommend. I just graduated and will be moving on to the next course, SheCodes Pro. My friend took the 3-week course and mentioned it to me. We both work in tech for different companies. Coding is something I've always been interested in doing, but it intimidated me. It seemed so complex and overwhelming. Matt and the whole team do a terrific job of breaking it down, just like learning a new language. I'm so glad my friend brought this course to me. In just 3 weeks, I learned so much! I was an absolute beginner when I started. I had no prior knowledge whatsoever. At first, it seemed intimidating, but now I can make a basic website already! If you're new to this, I highly recommend SheCodes. Matt takes it step by step. His teaching style makes it very easy to understand. If you want to learn to code, ENROLL! It's well worth it. I studied philology and I was curious about how webs are developed. I really enjoyed building something from scratch and learning about these languages. I am glad my curiosity led me to this course, it is fun and easy to follow.

“I think the basic course was a great high level overview of the coding essentials. I was able to create a simple site that could interact with a hypothetical external user. 10 years ago I wouldn't imagine myself creating a site from scratch, but the sessions were broken down well and gave you the time to absorb. For a beginner like me the course was a nice start. All was well explained and good prepared with step by step lessons and exercises to practice. As a total beginner in programming it took me a lot more than 5 hours a week to complete the challenges and homeworks.
